So good price.but if you decide to store your stuff here beware it might get ruined by rain and RODENTS. I didn't think about this before, since it's so close to the Petaluma river, the river rats come up when it rains a lot to find shelter. Unfortunately they find shelter in these storage units. We stored our stuff here for a couple of years without problems.
We hadn't been here for awhile, showed up one day and there were rodent droppings everywhere. We had to get rid of half the stuff including our baby's crib mattress. We let the office know, they said the exterminator usually comes by weekly and he didn't see signs of rodents but probably missed it and offered some traps to place in our unit. No discount or reimbursement even though half of our stuff was thrown away. We also noticed another couple there that day who had the same problem.

This is a safe spot for storage. The prices in Marin are way too much so looking in Petaluma I found this place and have been happy with the location and the price. The location gives me a chance to enjoy the local breweries and so does the price. I find the temperature of the units to be semi cool, even in the summer. While I do store some wine you might want more of a temperature controlled setup but this so far has worked for wine and beer as well as all the things I can't fit into my house any longer

Was pretty happy with Lakeview Mini Storage till they gave away my #1 spot on the waiting list for a smaller unit to someone who walked in. They left a message notifying me of an available unit at 8:30 am, I returned call at 11 am, and they had already given it to someone who wasn't even on the waiting list! (There were others behind me). Don't bother getting on their waiting lists. has no meaning unless you can hang by the phone waiting for them to call.

We have had two storage units, one small and one large, at Lakeville Mini Storage for the past three years as we transitioned through a grueling remodel. The units were clean, secure and well ventilated. Even with the apocalyptic rain we got last winter, our stuff was safe and dry. They offer auto-pay and the customer service was top notch.

Ed and Diana are always friendly and helpful--and I do mean always, since over the years I've had to move so often that I've lost track of my units' keys a couple of times, and they're always nice about sawing off the old lock and selling me a new one. The place is clean and conveniently located, and the rates are reasonable; I am not getting any kind of perk for writing this, but please tell them Dana recommended the business.

This is the best place that I have yet to experience. I've rented from many places and did some price checking before I decided on them the first time around. So needless to say when I need a rental I went back to them The facility is well maintained. The people are exceptionally nice and the hours are great. I would recommend this place above any other.
