Earl's Moving

We worked with Earl and his team to have a move in place about a month and a half ahead of time. I checked about five companies in town and he was recommended in our neighborhood group. His pricing was competitive and his team was solid. They were considerate, effective and I've never seen someone pack a truck like they did. Were able to take far more from the house than we thought they'd be able to.

They were careful as well with us moving to a new home and we didn't see a single bit of damage, they covered the floors to protect them and all around did an excellent job. Would definitely recommend. Earl even came out to assist late in the day and made sure we were taken care of.

We had to move some large items and many small items from storage. These items had to go to different places. I was so afraid that things would get put in the wrong place but no worries! These two guys, Chris and Darius were amazing. They listened and some of the items I was indecisive about. Not once did they get short or aggravated with me. They just picked up items that they knew were they were going and kept on moving.

There are very few people who listen anymore. It's an art apparently and these guys were artists in listening and communication. They were careful with my items, which many were fragile. Chris and Darius were polite, professional and not vulgar in any way. I've had guys talk trash as they moved furniture! Not these guys! They were gentlemen! The price was fair and they were actually cheaper than other places had quoted.

First of all, I'd like to say that I hate giving negative reviews and I'm looking forward to writing a glowing one for our local mortgage broker right after this. However, I gave Earl a chance to make us happy after some dissatisfaction we experienced with our move including very dirty mattresses, a dinged up side table, losing some of the hardware to my favorite chest of drawers, and dinging our walls in our brand new house.

Our move was a six hour local move and in my opinion, a relatively easy one for three guys. I got them lunch and tipped them all well. The guys were respectful, and I really thought at the time that they were doing a good job. It really wasn't until after they left (I had my own chaos to handle) that I started to notice all the issues. The truck must have been filthy for my mattresses to end up black, and I feel the movers need more training on how to properly wrap furniture especially ones with drawers.

At the end of the day, I expect a moving company to treat my belongings/house with the upmost care, and if something should happen, which I understand sometimes things do, it should be set right. I put the call into Earl himself and haven't heard a word.

I used Earl's moving service to move from one apartment to another. Earl's crew showed up exactly on time. Under 3 hours later, I was in my new apartment. Not one thing was damaged or even scratched. Chris, the lead man of the crew was polite and very helpful. This moving experience was a pleasure instead of what I thought would be dreadful.
