Critical: Quality, Responsiveness The owner Mr. M was very responsive prior to my move. Afterwards, he went dead and didn't respond to any of emails like he used to and even followed up with a call. Also a couple of my items were broken and missing. and just wanted a simple follow up. Services: Local moving, In-state moving

I have used Vanguard Logistics several times. I've found them to be fair, clear, and helpful. It's great to be able to call someone and trust they'll do their best to help you and that's what keeps me calling them when a move of some sort arises. Thanks to everyone there, Mike especially, for being my go-to for moves!

Dave and the guys at Vanguard we're AMAZING! After getting estimates from several other moving companies, we were happiest with the feedback and responsiveness we got from Dave. We went with them and it was an incredible experience. They were very upfront from the beginning and we were never left with unanswered questions. The guys on the job did great work. I am SO beyond happy with our decision. Best moving company by far!

Have never seen so much unprofessionalism in a company. To treat an employee of over 10 years is atrocious and i know the business wont stay afloat without his brawn and brain. I wouldn't recommend anyone to use Vangard out of Shelton in Ct. Mike and Dave will lie to get your business and you wont hear from them again.

Dave was great when he came out to quote us but everything went downhill after that. Movers ended up coming 4 hours late. None of the wrapping services for our furniture and mattress were done. New mattress still smells of their old moving blanket. Majority of the boxes were visibly damaged and crushed. Many large items came back scratched and dinged. Mike from Vanguard stated he'd put a rush on our move to receive items 3 days after pick up.

No word from Cicero moving (another affiliate) until 5 days after pick up telling us delivery would be another 2 days which made it 1 full week to receive our items. Driver shows up with only 1 helper so I had to act as an employee for my own move and check my items off their Inventory List. Would not recommend.

This would have been 5 stars had they handled the damages appropriately. Although in the grand scheme of things our damages were minor, it took constant reminders and emails to get things rectified. Patio table glass was broken, took 7 months to be fixed and when it came back, it was anything but "replacement" and poorly done. So disappointing after a good experience with the overall move. Realistically, things do get broken/damaged in moves, but how this is resolved is a critical component of the whole process. Think about this when planning your move.

I have used Vanguard for three personal moves, every single time they have done an amazing job. They arrive on time, take care of everything from packing, moving, storage and are always less then there originally quote. Resently my parents decided not to use vanguard for their move from New York to Connecticut. after the first mover left them high and dry, I call vanguard at 9:30 pm at night to please come to help pack and move us in the morning. They were there the next morning at 9:30 am and help us pack and move everything! They are like family to us. This is the company when it comes to moving and storage.

I've used Vanguard a couple of times in the past and the owner as well as the staff are nothing but professional. They get the job done quickly, efficiently and with a great attitude. They were most careful with my possessions and for those reasons I highly recommend them and would surely use them again. They take the pain out of moving. Fran

My wife and I cannot say enough good things about Vanguard's hard work and customer service during our recent move. Vanguard's professionalism and attention to customer service began with Dave's estimate. The estimate included a very thorough analysis along with a lot of helpful information. After several estimates, we ended up choosing another company that we had used in the past.

Our past experience with the other moving company was a very good one which is why we chose them again. That was a mistake. To make a long story short, the experience with the other moving company was not nearly as pleasurable or professional this time around. With just two days until our move, Beth and I decided to go with Vanguard. Mike and Dave stepped in and took charge and made a very stressful situation less stressful.

Their customer service is second to none, and that was proven in the work and care for our specific situation. During the height of the busy season in moving and with a very short amount of time, Mike and Dave got trucks and assembled a team of movers that was perfect for our move. As far as price goes, the estimate we received was in line with others we got, and the price we were charged was less than the estimate. From start to finish, Mike and Dave provided great service, and we will be sure to recommend Vanguard to anyone and everyone. Thanks again.

TOP Notch! They were nothing short of exceptional professional services. Ronel and his crew took such great care with packing up and moving out all our furnishings. They have our belongings in climate control storage and the price is so reasonable! I would totally recommend this moving company to anyone who is looking for a professional, reasonable moving service.
