Lakeside Storage is a locally managed self storage facility conveniently located to Table Rock Lake in Hollister, Missouri.
You can lease a unit 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through our website or by calling us Monday - Friday 7am to 8pm, Saturday 8am - 4pm, or Sundays 12pm to 4pm. Facility Recommendation: Upon renting a unit, you will be granted 24/7 Access, however when you are initially moving items inside of your unit for the first time, we recommend that you do so, Monday - Friday 8am to 9pm, Saturday 9am - 5pm, and Sundays 9am to 5pm, to ensure phone assistance is available if needed.

I contacted Lakeside Srorage today regarding a billing question. I was placed on hold and was the 9th caller but the automated continuously updated me on my position in line and the time remaining until my call was ultimately taken in about 5 minutes. I really appreciate the automated updates as this tells me that Lakeside values my time. After my short wait, I had the pleasure to speak with Lakeside representative Patrica about several items.
She was friendly, very well informed, addressed each question professionally and had exceptional customer service skills! I appreciate that Lakeside puts an emphasis on customer service :

I recently moved out after renting my unit here for 8 years. When the owners had a local resident manage the site, there where no problems. However, when the new management took over the nightmares and frustration started. I have never experienced such negligible customer service in my life. Since they are managing this site from an Eastern state everything is either done on the web site or over the phone, as there is not one local to contact when you have a problem.
When you call no one answers. I have called for days and weeks before on more occasion than not and never get to talk with anyone. Their phone system is not even working now as I type having just spent an hour trying to get through on any of their automated phone prompts. I finally used the first prompt for the police and first responders and it allows you to leave a recorded message in order to let them know I moved out on the 1st of September 2021. Horrible service. just horrible. I WOULD NOT RECCOMEND THIS FACILITY TO ANYONE AND THE PRICES ARE TOO HIGH.

I usually never write reviews, but to say I'm frustrated with Lakeside Storage would be an understatement. I've called over 10 times in the past 2 weeks and haven't got someone on the phone and the inbox is full so I can't leave a message. I've also tried to submit multiple "contact us" forms and their website is down. We were instructed to leave our RV at Lakeside Storage per our Airbnb host, but we'll be giving them the feedback to instruct people elsewhere since there is no possible way Lakeside Storage is actually in business.

This place is a joke, cameras that are so cheap they are no good for security purposes when you need them for images, ran (poorly) from out of state people who don't care what happens. Then they will try billing you weeks after you have left for the following months! Because they don't check their locations or emails. STAY AWAY
