Now 20 years later and a fleet of trucks, the fundamentals of our business are still the same. Professional service, reasonable prices and courteous team members. It is truly our pleasure to help you with all of your moving needs. We look forward to meeting you and your family soon. I used Town To Town Movers years ago, back when they FIRST started, and then a few years later, and a few years after that. The three moves the did for me were all professional, and courteous. Never a damaged product and always a smile!

In 1994 my husband Dave and I started Town to Town Movers with just one small truck. Our dream was to provide clients with a stress free and safe moving experience at a fair price. The men that moved me on 5/31 were so great! They were so careful with our furniture. All I had to do was point and they followed my direction.
We value your time and would like to make your move with us both cost effective and efficient. The moving tips listed below will answer many of your questions and help you get ready for your move. Please plan your move 4 to 6 weeks in advance to get the date of your choice; this will also give you more flexibility if you need to change the date, and more time to get an in-home estimate if you choose to do so. We can provide you with an estimate over the phone or by email, but we always recommend an in-home estimate as the best option.
Please avoid leaving these items loose: Cell phones, chargers, keys, wallets, checkbooks, iPads, iPods, laptops, prescription drugs, important paperwork. After everything is moved, you are responsible for a final walk-through to ensure that all items are accounted for. If disassembling furniture yourself, please do so prior to our arrival and keep track of any loose hardware.
My last three moves have been with Town to Town movers. They are great to work with. Their prices are reasonable, final price is always within quoted amounts, on time and no damage to anything. I hope I don't move again anytime soon, but when the time does come I will be calling them again! We weren't sure what to expect hiring movers for the first time.

We are so glad we hired Town to Town Movers for our recent move. The team (Carlo, Trevor, and Nathan) were professional, really efficient, and super friendly. The house we were moving out of was a Victorian with three floors and winding staircases, so it was not the easiest space. But they navigated it with ease. Everything was packed well and arrived safely at our new home. We would recommend Town to Town to anyone looking for moving services. They made a really stressful task so much easier for us.

Town to town movers was a pleasure to work with. They were able to give me a prompt quote, work with me on the date, and then came in under the price when all was said and done. They treated my furniture with care, especially two large pieces of glass, and the movers were polite and professional. Hopefully I won't need their services for some time to come but if I do I'll be sure to hire town to town movers again.

Town to Town was so impressive from the quick quote to the professional moving experience. It was without a doubt that these guys had their profession down to the T. The three men were all very friendly and careful when moving my mother's belongings. They even made an additional stop per our last minute request at a reasonable cost. If you're moving in the future, hire Town to Town! I know we will!

The entire experience, start to finish, was better than we could have imagined. The team (Mike, Al, Connor, and Joe) were on time, professional and efficient yet still managed to be personable. The estimate was surprisingly accurate unlike other companies we dealt with in the past. I can't recommend Town to Town Movers enough!

While long reviews can be painful, it is well deserved for Rachel, Connor, and Angel who were literally life savers. I recently put out a work request on yelp for movers. I have moved countless times in my life but decided that this time I was going to save my mental health and hire movers. I spoke with a company in RI where I was living and had schedule services for 830am.
When 9am came and no trucks showed up I got a call that "something came up" and I was basically SOL and told they could maybe come at 230. In totally panic, I reached out to Rachel at Town to Town Movers because she had also helped me when I purchased appliances from Woo Town Appliances and I had such a great experience, I assumed it would be no difference. 1493739293/10 would recommend.
She had guys at my place by 10:30 and they were the sweetest guys, super funny, and so willing to be as helpful as they could. These guys HUSTLED and had my move from RI to CT done in 3 hours FLAWLESSLY. I seriously cannot recommend this company enough or any of their other businesses. The customer service is unbeatable.

Just had a great move with Town to Town. Matt, Connor, and Brandon helped to move my massage office and they were great! Professional, courteous, and great attention to detail; no damage/no dings/nothing broken or misplaced. I would highly recommend this conpany and will request these three hard working young men on my next move. Thank You so much!

From my first call into the office, to the completion of my move, I knew I was in the Best Of Hands! Carlo, Trev and Peter handled my move from a 3rd floor Apartment to a 2 story Condo like True Professionals! It was not easy, as I had a lot of heavy furniture, but they got the job done with great skill and teamwork. I cannot Thank You All Enough! Happy Holidays To Everyone At Town To Town Movers!

Great experience! Town to Town Movers was very professional and communication from the office was great. I previously hired another moving company but they weren't able to move a very large desk. Luckily I was able to get Town to Town Movers to come just a few days after I called. Matt and Connor were able to move my very large desk from a very tight stairway on the second floor. They made it look easy and handled it with care along with several other items.

Beware! What an experience! First of all the moving estimate I was given was about 1600.00. The total amount due for the move was almost 2,500.00! We had the owner visit our house prior to moving and he estimated the cost and the amount of goods that would fit into the truck. The moving crew waited for over an hour waiting for another truck because all of our belongings couldn't fit into the 1st truck.
A waste of over $259.00. I would say that I was given a low ball estimate so that they would get the job. I seriously thought that this was one of the top movers in the city. Well I found out the hard way. i was wrong. I was told by the office that all items that were shipped by C-bins would be wrapped by the movers. With that said, I did not wrap our framed art myself. Needless to say - several of my picture frames are scratched and ruined.
When I called to talk to the owner about this he said he would give me.60 per lb. I asked him if he was going to come and weight them.,h e said no, I'll send you a check for $20.00! Imagine? I can't even buy a 1/4 of a single frame for 20.00! I have a minimum of 10 picture frames that are ruined, not to mention some of my mothers china that cannot be replaced and a 3 burner crock pot - crushed! And, I am not done unpacking yet!
Check out other movers -- you will be glad you did. The truths in the pictures and absolutely accurate. Several untruths in their comments below. There were at least 10 pictures damaged And didn't upload them all. One of the office workers told me that they were to to be packaged and wrapped by the movers before putting them in a c-bin. I will say that the movers were respectful and nice guys.
These issues are with the office/owner and not with the movers. Truth: they charged 75.00 to move a treadmill. isn't it part of the move? I questioned it. who wouldn't? They removed it. The cost was still as noted above. Read other numerous reviews - they are very similar to my review.

Price quote was lower than actual cost despite me moving most of the boxes ahead of time that were originally part of the quote. From the start the crew said they had no afternoon appointments and it was obvious they were stretching out the job. The crew took very good care of a cheap fan by wasting time wrapping it extensively in bubble wrap, but was careless with my valuable dining room table.
When I contacted the owner Dave about the green paint (from the door) and scratches on the table, he came out to check and thought it was from us trying to fix it. Bad service and bad ownership.

Absolutely, hands down the best move of my life! These guys were champions. They we early, thoughtful about the many antiques I own, and worked nonstop for 8 hours. It was especially nice that they were very professional but still friendly and personable. They had to do two stops and they packed the truck expertly. The only thing that had any damage was a lampshade I moved in my own car (next time I will trust them more than myself). They carried boxes of books to my third floor and a 300 lb mattress in 85 degree heat without a complaint! I can't thank Mike, Kevin, Devin, and Jonathan enough!

I can't say enough good things about Town to Town Movers! We moved from Worcester to Northbridge, and needed to store our belongings for 4 months. They did an excellent job moving our stuff out, safely stored it for us and just moved everything back in. The guys that moved everything are so friendly, I never thought I could be so comfortable with stranger in our home! And the office staff is very helpful! Moving isn't an easy task but they certainly made the process as smooth as possible! I 100% recommend them!

So happy to be in a new apartment and got all my stuff with me. I was very ill and stressed from living in a building 'rooming house' where you cannot drink the water, so have to haul it and groceries and laundry up 53 stairs every day, week. My neighbors were 'smoking.' and spraying DDT type chemicals every day, night. My body was full of toxins and my spine, neck was injured.
Most of the employees in the building, including office are mentally ill and some of a criminal nature, selling drugs, access to keys to rooms, social security, bank info. Three were extorting monthly loans from me and my food, water from. Many other problems. I got frostbite in the winter due to my neighbor banging on my wall and breaking the heat thermostat.
Too many other things to mention. Town to Town movers got me out of that HORRIBLE situation. I am very grateful. The three men (Steve, Bobby and Bill) and the lady in the office are like angels from heaven. Lot of stairs and no complaints. Were fast, professional and very kind, understanding. One of the guys even offered to carry my suitcase down the stairs.
The price for the move was lowered! They saved me money at the end of the move! I had to take a taxi because I am a single 61 yr. old lady, disabled and no car. I was late arriving at the new address because the taxi driver got lost 3 times! Town to Town movers went into the new apartment via manager and got all my boxes. moved in by the time I got there.
Rule would be an extra charge. But, they did not charge me! So they worked partly for free! I preserve antiques, history for present and future generations. All boxes and other belongings were delivered to the new apartment. Nothing lost. Nothing broken. PERFECT JOB! Nice family oriented decent, kind young men and office staff! Thank you so much!

This Company is amazing. Trust me when I tell you I don't say this lightly, in fact this is the first time writing a review but had to share my experience. 3 guys showed up, extremely polite and walked me through the process. We took a tour of the house and they immediately got started. The MOST AMAZING PART OF THIS was, I was in the kitchen, the 3 men were in on of the bedrooms and one called out "excuse me, ma'am" and he came walking out with my sons wallet in his hand that was under my mattress which we had completely forgotten were we hid it.
The wallet had several Hundred dollars in it, all still inside. It was such a nice feeling to know how good people really are. Hoping I never have to move again but if I do, Town to Town will be getting my business! Hard working, honest and polite.

I bet everyone that writes a bad review about you guys, you just say it's fake and the person is not a customer. That's hilarious. My mother and my brother in law both used town to town and had horrible experiences. For you to say, I'm not a real customer. And I just go around making bad reviews for no reason is insane. Maybe you guys should own up to your bad business and try to take care of your customers. Is every negative comment about your company, a "fake" customer. I'm sure they are. Your business will most likely go out of business. Who will you blame then?

So thankful I didn't have to move a very heavy and fragile curio cabinet, especially last minute! I called up and they asked when I wanted it moved. I said how about today and they said OK. The 2 guys they sent were very professional and kind. They made sure every step of the job was done with care and efficiency as to ensure the very large cabinet didn't get a single scratch, chip or crack.
They made sure everything was clean as they gathered their equipment and even went above and beyond to help my husband set up the cabinet! We will be using Town to Town Movers in the future and will be recommending them to anyone who mentions the need for movers! Thank you! The price was right too!

I could not have been happier with my experience. Rob, Manny and DJ arrived 15 minutes early and got right to work. We had a 20 foot storage unit filled to the brim. Every box and item was placed neatly and accurately in my home well under the 3 hour minimum I had booked. They were professional, polite and friendly. The booking process was also easy and everyone I talked to was knowledgeable and helpful. The price was very reasonable as well. I highly recommend Town to Town Movers.

These guys are the best. I used them in April when I sold my house and moved everything into storage. Jason, Adam, and Manny were professional, courteous, and very careful with my things. I just used them again today to move my things out of storage and into my new home and, as expected, was thrilled with their work. Jason, Adam, and Eric (Manny was unfortunately unavailable) showed the same courtesy and professionalism as before. I would highly recommend them to anyone considering a mover. They were absolutely wonderful to work with!

Not a professional mover at all, The owner gave me estimate on the job and the worker stretched it by monkeying around, the worker kept arguing who should carry what and how waisting lot of time and when I left message for the owner, he never called me back. Find another mover and don't be fool by this monkey.

I knew yesterday morning when my movers arrived 20 minutes early (my kind of people) that I would be giving them a glowing rating. Eight hours of non-stop hustling furniture and boxes out of my apartment and into my new home, and not a single thing damaged or scratched. To top it off, the guys were all extremely patient and kind to my 11 y/o son (who is autistic and really, really wanted to help). I highly recommend this company and thank you so much for all of your hard work!

I'm glad Matt had a good experience, because I certainly did not. I had originally booked for first thing in the morning since I was moving from Worcester to Natick, and wanted everything done early. They told me sure, no problem, until day of. After missing their 8 o'clock time, I called them and was told they'd be to me in no time at all.
At 9, called again, was told the same. 10 AM, was told "oh, they decided to go do someone else first, someone should have told you." They finally showed up at 2 PM. Once they get there, I found they hadn't brought the wardrobe boxes they promised they had. And that they'd charged me for. So, they start packing, going as slow as I've ever seen people go.
It was a hot day, but when I can move things faster, probably not a good sign. They'd sent over three guys, which I'd thought would speed things up, but one of them hung in the truck and smoked, one was really good, and the third was slow and just talked about how he'd stabbed his wife's lover. Made me feel totally safe! So, all in all, they finally pack up everything, and head over to the place in Natick, and they unpack. Slowly.
And broke the butterfly lead on my wooden dining room table. I complained about that, they said to talk to the main office, and made me pay with the lover-stabbing one kinda hovering over me. Way over cost since they took so long, and when i called the main office, I was told to get a refund/discount on the table, I would need to provide before and after pictures of it.
Who takes a picture of the underside of a table before moving? I pay people to move me so that things will be done right. Short story, never going back to this place. Maybe other people have good luck, but the movers sent over to help me were terrible.

Dave, the owner came out and provided an estimate. He expressed Town to Town was a family company who took pride in their work and took care of their clients by respecting homes and property. The three movers who showed up exhibited zero respect for the property I was moving from and zero respect for my brand new home.: The movers arrived and put down nothing on the carpeting or asked if they should. Instead, they walked through my home with mud covered work boots and stained the carpeting throughout my home.
They damaged 2 pieces of furniture, leaving hardware pieces from of an armoire behind, only to be discovered later on. They put a hole in a wall in my new home and they damaged brand new wood trim in the new home. All of the damaged caused was discovered by myself and my wife after-the-fact: not one member of the crew pointed out the damaged they caused, when they caused it.
It is my belief they hoped we would not discover it. I also watched as 3 guys disassesmbled 1 twin bed (actually 2 watched while1 worked) and I wondered why I was paying fora crew of 3. When they finally completed the job, I had to pick up after them. They left behind half-drank coffees and trash in the house I moved from and they had the audacity to ask if we had anything to drink in my new home. I would not recommend this company to anybody who respects their home and their possessions.
