We wanted to support local. Never again. Charged us for boxes we didn't need. Broke furniture they did not offer to repair. Broken glass they said was our fault and $37/hour to gave THEM access our stuff during 9 months of storage. Receptionist was misinformed and told us many inaccuracies making this move overly stressful. Very disappointing

I was really happy to see a moving truck roll up indicating I have new neighbors. Now however 3 days later and trailer is still sitting right across from my driveway I am a little aggravated with the moving company. Trailer has been attached and detached from cab multiple times, however hasn't moved an inch. It wouldn't be an issue except roads are narrow and trailer makes it extremely hard to get in and out of my driveway. Talked to driver and he wasnt very polite and promised to move trailer in an hour.
Still has not moved trailer several hours later. In response to owners reply I am in the raleigh, NC area. Trailer has been moved. I understand moving homes is not a perfect science, however parking a large tractor trailer in a small roadway for 3 days is poor business practice.

Recently uncovered additional issues as we prepare to move yet again. Four years ago, Castine moved us and the outcomes included: 1) Castine crushed our custom dining room table (which we bought in Japan). 2) Crushed our wine rack. 3) Discarded some of our handmade pottery and porcelain that we purchased in Japan. 4) Damaged the surface of an antique chest. 5) Delivered to another home some of our goods. 6) Delivered to us 2 tricycles. We have no children! Bottom line, avoid this move company.
