Moving Staffers

Our moving crew just left and we are frustrated at how our truck was loaded, our belongings were treated and how our house was damaged. Below are dings and damage they caused to the walls, and a huge scratch they made in the living room floor. We provided blankets, straps and wrap for the movers, they used none of them (possibly 10 blankets out of the 60 we provided).

They left an hour early (due to us believing we were out of room on the truck). When we opened it up we found our belongings thrown in haphazardly. We are now forced to unload the truck and reload correctly, as every foot in the truck costs us money. WE trusted that our movers would be here to relieve some of the stress of moving, but instead have left us in a situation that is more stressful. I could never recommend Moving Staffers and won't ever look to using you guys again.

I am very disappointed with the moving service, I thought we are getting a people that are familiar with working with pods and had some type unity amongst of moving furniture. I felt like there was a leader but other two colleagues couldn't move without the leader. My wife and I had two assist them moving sone items so we could hurry them along and they still didn't finish.

We would never use this service again. I will make sure to tell my pharmacy colleagues and all my health care professional colleagues not use this service or any moving service recommended by PODS especially moving staffers. Stay away

Beware your contract only allows for a one hour credit even if the workers get the job done in half the time. Our ABF trailer was delivered on a Tuesday and UPack put us in touch with Moving Staffers after we reserved the trailer with them and arranged for a Thursday unload which was exactly two weeks after the truck was loaded. Having a 28 ft trailer sitting in your driveway is not convenient. Now for the positives -the loaders and unloaders were professional and the 1,100 mile move had nothing broken and the cost could not be beat

I have utilized this moving services twice. They perform in a professional manner. They utilize techniques appropriate to care for your most cherished items. They are attentive to your particular needs and those necessary for your further care for the storage and / arrangement of goods long after they are gone. I truly appreciated the crew sent from Moving Staffers.

These guys were amazing. I was nervous all my things would not fit the pod and they made me feel better telling me they were excellent packers and would do their best to make it fit. They were phenomenal! Left out a few things that I had no problem parting with but they did it! I was so happy and they were very careful and considerate. I can't say enough good things! Thank you guys!

I was forced into picking a 3 man staff, even though the minimum hours required to pay for is 2. I knew I did not have enough stuff for 3 people for 2 hours, and the movers were done within 45 minutes. I paid over $750 for 45 minutes of work, with 3 kids who had zero care in the world for my walls and possessions. Literally go with any other company besides Moving Staffers, embarrassing Pods recommends them.

I've moved many times in the past, and nothing comes close to this horrific experience. Carelessly damaged multiple expensive pieces of furniture, wasted boxes within boxes and stuffed some boxes mostly with paper, then overcharged me for materials and labor. My final bill gouged me at double the estimate--I've been trying to call, email, get in touch with someone about this, but emails go unanswered, and I keep getting told "we'll look into this and call you back" I have requested copies of the contract multiple times. Any trail of communication with Moving Staffers at this point has gone cold. I'm being redirected, ignored, hung up on after being put on hold, this is insane.

Just an awful experience. I had to totally unload the pod they packed to repack it! They just wanna fill it as fast as they can wasting an enormous about of space you paid for and we're counting on for a move. They also packed literal garbage into my pod. Your better off hiring the homeless!

Worse people to use for moving. UPACK should stop using them. They damaged almost every piece of furniture on my delivery. Then they want to charge without permission extra fees. Never use them. Your better off hiring college kids.

They did an exceptional job. They were courteous and efficient and took great care of our furniture items. Definitely will use them again.

The people they hired to load my items in to the truck did a horrible job and many of my belongings were completely destroyed. I would never recommend using this company.

Don't use this company if you value your possessions. They staffed movers for my long distance move. The movers were the most unprofessional people I've eer working with. I've done over 15 moves in my life and they were by far the worst. They "lost" 4 of my boxes including a large wardobe box full of expensive clothing. My deceased mother's wedding dress was in that box along with several of her other possessions that I will never get back.

I trusted this company and it ended up costing me so much. Be careful and do your research before hiring companies for any move, especially a long distance move. Also, this comany did not care one bit about anything that they lost. They didn't do anything to help out.

Moving staffers packed a POD for me as I could not be there to pack. The items were put into a POD and the POD shipped to Chicago from Bryan, TX. When I opened the POD, I couldn't believe my eyes on how well everything was packed. Every piece of furniture had protective wrapping and each items in the boxes were individually wrapped with paper. NOTHING was damaged. Moving staffers exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend them and use them again, if needed.

This is not an exaggerated rating. *Do not* hire Moving Staffers for your moving needs. The company was hired in November 2020. Their poor performance of packing resulted in damages of many household items. Tammie, quality assurance coordinator, offered a "good faith" refund of a minuscule $100 despite the damages was in excess of $1000 (see photos).

The service rendered falls terribly short of what was expected. This company is NOT, I repeat, IS NOT a professional moving company. Be warned - consider alternative options the next time moving service is required, *and* it should not be Moving Staffers.

Moving Staffers was recommended by PODS as a moving company to help load and unload the PODS. It's been a disaster. The movers they source are poor quality and criminals. We experienced a theft in our first 15 minutes of them arriving. Thankfully it was just their tip money but it's been an awful experience. For the unload, they didn't even have movers coming until 2 pm losing the majority of a Saturday. We ended up cancelling since they never rectified some of the misquotes from the move over. Overall, the operators seem available and responsive but the positives end there.

I can't even begin to explain how disappointed I am in U-pack and the company that they hired on our behalf moving staffers. They caused damage to over 60% of our property, and what I am estimating at 20K+ in damage. The service of U-pack was horrible from the start, when working with us, they gave us a quote and were completely off in the amount of space we needed in a truck, we ended up needing twice as much space as they apparently don't know how to estimate properly.

Then we had several scheduling issues. They gave us estimated delivery windows which were also incorrect. But most notably was referring us to Moving Staffers who sub contracts work out to other companies who don't seem to have a good rating who have no regard to clients personal property and loaded things in the truck so bad that we had so much damage to our property. These guys were horrible, and for the cost we should have used a company that does it all for you.

Their customer service is horrible. They contract out local moving companies to load or unload your belongings, so you better hope that local company takes pride in their work because Moving Staffers could care less about customer satisfaction. Plus, if the movers do a poor job loading your belongings and cause damages, you can forget about Moving Staffers doing anything other than taking a "not my problem" stance.

You are better off hiring your own local help than dealing with Moving Staffers. It will be cheaper, and if your belongings get damaged like mine did, then you have someone to hold accountable.
