Tufano Family

They postponed my move the morning of. Then they broke my furniture, promised to pay for the repair, and lost several thousand dollars worth of clothing and other belongings. I filed a claim which was like nails on a chalk board because they don't understand how to use email. My claim was for over $3000 which was low considering everything they lost. Now they are trying to "settle" by offering me $250. Stay far away from this company, they are unprofessional, and will at best damage you things, more likely loose them.

Wow what a disaster. Ann sent a crew of kids that looked like they had never moved before. They broke 2 pieces of furniture, scratched the walls, ran over garden lights with the truck. and she takes no responsibility for anything. Stay far away.

"I'm currently on the Grand Central Pkwy in Queens, NY. Tuesday February 28th 2:30 pm. I noticed that this company has a delivery truck with two confederate flags on the bumper. The driver of the truck was texting at one point and talking on his phone. Not only are you violating traffic laws while putting lives in danger, but your brand is a rolling representation of ignorance. Scrape that trash of that trash! Then shut your business down. If it was an oversight (yea right.) follow the same instructions. Disgrace. "

Five star moving company. Arrived super early. Guys were pleasant, happy, extreamly helpful, and fast. They arrived at 7:30 and move was completed at 12:40 pm. I moved about 7 miles away from my original home. It was. Co-co to co-op. They over estimated my move as far as price goes and ended up costing me about $500 less, mainly cuz they were down a guy and did my move with three men, not four. One thing, CASH ONLY. No checks. Go with TUFANO MOVERS, they are the BEST!

I cannot understand how anybody rated these guys anything more than 1 star. These guys stole watches, cufflinks, and other random household items. It was impossible to supervise every mover every second. As you can imagine, this upset us tremendously. We confronted the moving company and they refused to investigate. Additionally, they claimed to provide insurance for items that were broken while they were moving.

One of our vases broke because one of the movers dropped a box. Luckily nobody got hurt but they refused to compensate us for the vas! In general, they were late, unprofessional, and overcharged us (because we were in a rush to move). I am so upset at them. If you have other options, I strongly advise not to trust these guys. They were very convincing over the phone, but they are not honest people.

I was very happy with the job done by tufano movers. I also needed a month of storage. The crew were personable good guys. They worked quickly and my stuff was in the condition I gave it to them in. The office manager/scheduler is also very accommodating. Nice run family business.

These guys came early, charged less than their estimate, and handled some very tricky and heavy furniture - when my mother's massive bed pieces wouldn't fit down the stairs, they got them out the door to the balcony, handed then down from the balcony to the terrace, in the back door, through the house, out the front door and into the truck.

At the other end, they got them through a small doorway to the bedroom, where they reassembled the pieces (phew!) Throughout the day they were friendly, gave us great advice, and pointed out issues with various bits of furniture (loose mirrored panels etc.)They moved an enormous amount of furniture (some that barely fit through doors) and boxes into a freshly painted apartment and there was not a mark on the walls or new wood floor.

The Optimum guys left more marks on the walls than the movers! We got five guys, each of them a character and a personality. Most of all, they made a potentially traumatic day (leaving a family home after 55 years) fun and funny. Thanks to the Apostles and the Beatles! The excellence of their service behooved me to write this review :-)

Had to add something important! Some small chess pieces we packed were mistakenly left inside a box ( our own fault - I packed them incorrectly & they were tiny) and we just assumed they were gone forever. I never bothered calling Tufanos office because I never expected them to turn up. Today the doorbell rings. It's our movers with a bag of our tiny chess pieces!

They found them in a discarded box and brought them by. These chess pieces were my husbands from when he grew up and we were so happy to have them back. I can't thank Tufano guys enough for their good work and kindness to us!
