Carmine is the best communicator in the business. He is responsive and very professional. My loading crew today was headed by Ed and he was assisted by Josh. They were prompt and also had great communication skills. Ed's leadership, easy communication, and hard work set the tone for a smooth day of moving. When I realized that I had bitten off more than I could chew with a difficult move all by myself, Ed kindly assured this senior citizen that all would be well.
He was so very kind and remained calm and caring throughout the day. Josh worked hard and steadily and was also very considerate of my age and inability to do some things. Both Ed and Josh were very polite. I am hoping they are my unloading crew at my destination!

I have nothing but great things to say about this company. The men work hard and from start to finish. We have used them several times to move our home and my parents home. From our grand piano to grandfather clock, they carefully packaged and crated everything in a timely fashion, and most importantly. No Damages! Thank you Ett and crew!

I paid a lot of money to have them move me and store my stuff for a few days. Upon getting the furniture delivered to my home, the movers who were bringing things in informed us that another mover that was helping them get things out of storage shut the tailgate on our furniture. When looking at our furniture; our dining room table was ruined, there was a gash taken out of the wood legs.
We had a box of 3 vases broken into pieces. Our leather couch was gouged into. We have kitchen chairs that have gashes in them. They did not treat our furniture well. When calling to complain, the response was I'm sorry. Not one has anyone offered to pay to get things fixed or even give a partial refund. Do not use this company. They do not value their clients at all.

We called Flager Movers for an estimate and tentatively set up a move with a $250.00 REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT! We checked other companies and ended up going with another one to move from FL TO GA, called Flagler to request refund, and were told our refund would promptly be returned. Not only did Flagler Movers NEVER return our DEPOSIT, but when we received our credit card bill Flagler charged $2500.00 instead of the $250.00 DEPOSIT! Flagler Movers never refunded any money, even after several calls and promises from them to do just that.
We could and should not have had to pay two movers and filed disputes but because of Flagers lies, 2 years later we have a mark on our credit with no refund in sight. We continue to fight for our refund and removal of the mark on our credit. DO NOT EVER USE CARMINE AND CREW AT FLAGLER MOVERS! Eugene Gillispie, unsatisfied - cheated non-customer.

Flagler movers really stepped up for us! They helped us relocate our heavy kitchen equipment to our new restaurant location. Carmine and his guys were on time, respectful and did a fantastic job moving some Really heavy and awkward items. They really put in extra effort and made things happen for us! Not to mention, they are one of the only moving companies we could find that would help us move our heavy equipment safely. Much appreciated guys!

I recently utilized Flagler Moving & Storage; it was a horrible experience. Though the two movers who came out were nice, they did not appear to be experienced movers. First, the movers were moving at a pace that was almost comically slow (if it weren't for the fact that I was being charged by the hour). And it wasn't that they were being slow because they're being careful; they bumped up the walls so badly in the rental house that we were moving out of that we'll have to make repairs before turning in our keys.
My husband had to pull them aside and ask them to be more carefully, especially when unloading into our new house. In addition, at least 2 pieces of furniture were damaged (legs broken off a dresser and end table) and one piece of one of our beds was left behind in the truck. We had expected the move to take 3-4 hours (we were moving a 3-bedroom house/8 houses down the same road) and it took 8 hours! I've reached out to the gentleman who was in charge of the crew, along with the owner of Flagler Moving & Storage (who essentially has ignored me completely). I feel completely disrespected and ripped off.

Had a wonderful and economical local moving experience with Flagler Moving and Storage. Joe in the office made getting a quote and booking the move a simple, friendly process. My quote was reasonable and estimated properly when the final bill was due. Calvin and Quentin arrived on time and were very friendly and conscientious movers. Everything went off without a hitch and we were done moving items from a 2 bedroom condo to a storage center and new home 30 minutes away in 4 hours. Would recommend and hire them again! Thanks everyone! You made a stressful experience easy!

I wanted to give a shout out to Flager Movers for doing their absolute best on getting a crew out to me even after hurricane Dorian. They made me feel highly important! I want to thank the crew who took their time into moving my things. Tim, C.j, and Q. I want to thank your employee Tim for taking the time and showing that little bit more of care than normal!
They made sure everything was packed nice and securely! I had very precious valuables and they treated them like it was their own! Thank you so much for this crew! I will definitely be coming back and referring anyone and everyone possible. Thank you again for such an amazing job!

We used this service 2 years ago when it was Flagger movers. But we hired them to make our move from New Smyrna Beach to Harmony Florida. What a disaster that was. First when they came, their truck broke in our driveway, so we had to wait for the owner to show up to fix it which the lift gate stuck in the down position. The owner showed up 2 hours later in flip flops to fix the truck?
They used bricks from our foundation to prop up the truck and did not put them back. They scratched the hell out of our driveway and took a chunk out of it. We finally had to head toward the new house and left them to finish loading which they didn't do. They called me when they were leaving me to inform me they could not get all the stuff in the truck.
It just was not pack properly or they could have gotten it in. They broke a dresser and a couple glass things. We had to rent a trailer to move our golf cart and 2 complete van loads to get what they left. Our original quote was estimated at 700. With all the problems they took 100.00 off the bill which turned out to be well over a $1100.00. If you want a mover i suggest you definitely don't use Lanco or Flagger movers or any company they are affiliated with.

Autocorrect in my review above changed the word "accessible" to "acceptable". : I meant to say that their storage facility is not accessible to customers. Update: I got my money back, but they did forge my signature on the document, that they submitted to my bank, trying to prove to my bank that I did sign the paper and authorized those charges. Unbelievable.

This company gets zero stars. Scheduled for arrival as l between 8 am and 10am. Arrived at 20 minutes to 1pm. It was a local move but must be off the new condo property by 430. Of course they worked in slow motion.it was friday.holiday weekend.moved a few items then had to stop and continue after the weekend. Tuesday. Half the furniture was left on the truck.
They came back tuesday. (which messed up my closing) moved.broke a mirror, damaged a dresser, broke the legs off a large cabinet. They argued over the cost. They charged for the late slow motion half "you know what" Friday move.added the that to the Tuesday continuation. If you hire this company you'll be so sorry.

Please choose a different mover. Between cost, 3 TV's stolen, broken, dirty and damaged items, it is heartbreaking. The so call manager just uses excuses on the phone and argues. I heard I had to get a police report, then movers are blamed for everything and today now she claims it has been too long. Well per her advise I had to wait on the police, wait for her responses and now she is telling me I am out of luck.
But interesting they let the guys go that stoley TV's per the police. I paid them almost 3,000 from St Augustine to Ormond Beach, have dirty sofas, damaged wood pieces and 3 TV's stolen. Shame on them. Save yourself do not use them.

THEY DO NOT SHOW UP THEY DO NOT EVEN SHOW UP! Called last week to schedule a time for them to move a hospital bed locally. Rachel told me they could move it on Sunday. I reminded her that Sunday was Easter Sunday; do they really work then? Yes, she assured me, they would be working Sunday and had multiple jobs planned for that day. She emailed me a quote and I called back later that afternoon to set up a time on Sunday to have the bed moved. Rachel told me 4 men and a truck would be at my home between noon and 3 pm Sunday.
I confirmed with her that the quote was valid for a holiday Sunday move. She assured me it was. On Friday, Rachel called to confirm the Easter Sunday move. Great, I thought, they're on the ball. Everything was confirmed and on our end, our family proceeded to make plans to move an infirm family member, who required the bed. I also informed our home care agency and the various CNAs of the move, telling them to report to the new address on their next shift.
All was set--or so I thought. At 11:25 am on Easter Sunday, I received another Flagler Moving Quote in my email inbox. I thought they might be trying to change the price they quoted earlier. Opened the email, no message, but there was a link (as in the earlier quote they emailed). Clicked it, and scanned the quote. At the bottom of the page was the following message: "As you know, today is Easter.
Our crews including the one assigned to your move will not be coming to work today. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but we will not be able to move you today. Please contact us tomorrow at 386-246-7500 to reschedule your move." Apology NOT accepted. Yes, I know it is Easter. So do you--and you knew when you quoted the job. Absolutely no excuse for putting ppl in this kind of bind. Flagler Moving could not care less about their customers and the binds they put them in. Flagler Moving and Storage--and Lanco Leasing in Ormond Beach, the parent company--should NOT be in business. Btw, FMS currently has a "C" rating with the Better Business Bureau--and that's about to decrease. Wish I had checked there before I booked with FMS!

If I could give this "company" 0 stars, I would. Lena constantly changes the price, increasing by the thousands after each call. They also charged our card twice without our authorization - seems to be a trend. Currently filing a complaint with BBB which rates "Flagler Movers" as a C company; in my opinion, it deserves an F. In addition, they never return your calls, and the only time you hear from them is when they increase the price or change the pickup date (also changes constantly). PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

*****CONSIDER YOURSELF FAIRLY WARNED****** I was greeted by three men one white (tall0 and two black (one with dreads and the other low cut) that is only relevant to you can know them when they come. Later on I noticed these same men a few days later as residents in Bunnell projects (low income area, smoking while standing on the corner) on a street I travel parallel to a Private School (old courthouse) where I pick up my child.
Once at my home I could smell a odor that resembled that of marijuana, it reeked. I'm sure that played a part in the quality of work and time management they were able to provide. I was quoted one thing and at the end of service received a different price. I was charged for an extra mover and a two hour job was ticketed for three. I filed a dispute with my bank but that did not run in my favor because they never supplied a copy of the invoice that I signed, which had a different price than what she processed my card for, i would suggest using a major credit card with scum like this.
I usually do and it was my mistake that i didn't this go round. If I wasn't for the time of the month and all the other things I had to do, I would have cancelled their help from first arrival. Furthermore, the company name wasn't even the same on the description on my bank statement turns out it's doing business as Lanco Leasing Inc. rather than what is posted "Flagler Movers". These boys damaged property and thank goodness I didn't have valuables in reach.****PLEASE USE CAUTION*****

We used this supposedly local service, (their main office is out of town) and they were accommodating at first. Three guys showed up and were well mannered, assuring me that our items would go into "climate controlled storage" and be well taken care of. A month later, when we received our belongings to our new home, that was a different story. Extensive damage on our cherry furniture which had no damages to begin with.
One end table had obviously been dropped on it's side, with damage rendering it a total loss. All wood was was dried out with some being discolored(so much for climate control). Bottoms of most furniture scratched. Bed rail scratched, end table, master dresser and our new cherry dining room was also scratched from it's once pristine condition.
Even got a box of items that do not belong to us! All leather furniture was crushed down. Many boxes had huge boot prints on them, as someone had walked over them. Needless to say, we lost English Bone China and glass items which had been in our family for decades. When I called and spoke with Lanie ( owner Carmine's wife), she said she would send me a damage claim.
We waited two weeks, and still no damage claim. I emailed her again, and both emails came back as deliverable". I am guessing they have blocked us. We would never recommend this company as they are running a typical bait and switch scam. "White glove service".what a joke!

I used this company to move from South Florida to North Florida, and I'm glad I didn't read the reviews here because they were EXCELLENT! The young men were super polite and sweet. They had to drive six hours one way, load an entire house of my stuff, then drive six hours back and unload. They stayed committed to the job and worked until after midnight to get it done.
They did whatever we asked them to do, even helping us to put a heavy 46 TV in, and then later out of a box. The woman, Lena who took our request over-the-phone was always polite and she was the only moving company that actually followed up with us, which is why we went with this company in the first place and the price was right too. We knew their original time estimate was a bit low so we planned for paying for the extra time.
If you want to be excellent movees, be sure to have lots of cold bottled water for the workers and tip them WELL when they're done! They work hard for you and care for your stuff. They were some of the nicest movers I've ever met.

We recently moved under a mile and we had a 65 inch tv that we were going to move ourselves but Carmine said no worries they would move it for us since we had the box. They broke the tv during the move and then would not give us any money for braking it! We paid over $3500 for it and it was less than 30 days old! To make matters worse we tried to go thru the insurance they said they had and the insurance would only pay $100 as they pay by weight! Then they did not even pay the $100 HORRIBLE Company be very very afraid to use them! Sincerely, Jim and Michelle B from New Smyrna Beach in Florida

Please buyer beware! My elderly mother used this company to move her stuff from Florida after the sudden death of her husband. The paperwork shows a requested delivery date of March 23rd and my mother waited but the delivery did not arrive. She called me crying and distraught because almost a month after her requested move date, the company had changed the date three times and now they were talking about a June delivery.
I thought she gotten a referral from someone but she just got them out of the phone book. An internet search of the company, owner, and wife caused me great concern. Since my mother was in a delicate emotional state, I tried to resolve the issue with them and understand why the items had not been delivered within the timeframe as contracted. As my calls to Flagler Moving went unanswered, and my research revealed the parent company, LANCO Leasing Inc, owns Palm Coast Movers, Ormond Movers, St. Augustine Movers and Daytona Moving and Storage, I called one of those numbers and finally was able to speak to Lena Marie Hale Lania (the owner's wife).
Long story short Lena told me that although the paperwork reads "an indirect load can be delivered within 15 days of the requested date" that statement meant something else and a clear explanation of the statement's meaning was never given. I explained my mother actually believed in what had been told to her and written in the paperwork. Lena told me she would talk to her husband, Carmine Lania and arrange for the delivery to be moved up.
She said she would call me back. I waited a full week and never received a call or voice mail message from her. Lena had given me a cell phone number on which to reach her "anytime" but it only rang the multiple times I called and the voice mailbox was full. Since I felt I was getting the runaround, I decided to file a complaint with the Federal Motor Safety Administration. Coincidentally, more than two months after the requested delivery date and about ten days after I filed the complaint with the Federal Motor Safety Administration they called me and stated they would deliver the items Friday before Memorial Day.
Finally they showed up on that Saturday and delivered my mother's personal possessions (and a box of someone else's stuff which my mother is trying to return to the rightful owners!). I do not think this is the service that anyone deserves. I felt mislead in my dealings with this company to say the least and I feel I should not have had to resort to a complaint with the BBB and FMSA.

We move to Palm Coast and come from a mere 2.5 hrs drive away. I opted for a fixed rate for moving the stuff in my home for the move and we agreed on 1900 fixed rate for loading, travel and unloading the stuff. Some companies even estimated for lower. The day was crucial since we are to close in the sale of our house and use the money to buy the house we are moving to.
The loading, travel and unloading is supposed to happen in one day only. They arrived so late (past 11 am) on the loading day and as a result we had a closing inspection late as well, which is supposedly at 2pm. We missed all the deadlines and delays ensued, necessitating the storage of the items on their facility. Now they want me to pay for the result of their late arrival and worse charge me 200/day charge for storage.
And that rate is a rip off as well. Nobody should be paying that 200/day rate for storage since the 1 month rate for storage in any storage facility, including theirs, is not even 200/month for a size much bigger than your truck. In some companies, the first month is even free! They again charge me the per hour rate on the day they unloaded the truck.
They billed me additional 1200 on the day of unloading. It is 600 for storage and 600 for the time they spent on unloading. That is wrong again since unloading was already included in the fixed rate agreement for loading and unloading. If the estimator messed up, he is at fault. The reason why I opted for fixed rate is because there is tendency for the packers to go slow just to increase the time.
All in all, I already paid them the original 1950, and 650 for the second truck that resulted from either the off estimate of their estimator or the lack of arrangement skills of the movers. I paid a total of 2600 by the time the 2nd truck left my home I am moving from and I realized this is wrong, and a total rip off. Now that we are unloading the boxes, I realized they messed a lot.
The boxes labeled fragile were at the bottom and I couldn't find some stuff. Also, the beds were never installed right!. They just put the bottom railings on top of the side support and never screwed them and I have to redo it myself. The dresser's mirror was never installed and they lost the screws. The fridge that was actually working before they moved was now leaking and the ice maker tubing at the back was cut. The house walls and doors was full of scratches that is ugly to look at. Overall, they exemplify what a bad job is and the company itself is the defining image of rip off.

They moved us in December, their "white glove" experience is a joke. The four so called professional movers were a joke 3 had no clue what was going on the one that did was smoking weed when I foot back to the goose. They scratched the wood floors up to heck and back broke a flat screen TV stand that they were told not to touch and did anyway. They've broken numerous other items as well that are on replaceable and had sentimental value.
When calling asking for the owner of the company to call us they refused to do so and continue to tell us that it's in with the insurance company under investigation it is now April 17th and we have still yet to hear from the owner of the company or have anyone come out and repair the wood floors in the house please do not use these people or trust them with any of your personal belongings.

We recently moved from Florida to Tennessee. Flagler Movers advertises "white glove service." That is clearly false advertising! When owner gave us an estimate, he told us everything would be blanketed and wrapped before it was loaded on the truck. This did NOT happen. Lots of our items were just thrown on top of items already on the truck. The footboard of our almost new bedroom suite was scratched but when I showed it to them, they said the damage didn't look "new." There was NO damage before we moved!
They completely lost all of the hardware to one bedroom suite! Asked if we had some screws they could use. Very unsatisfactory installation. Mirror was left barely attached to dresser and we had to take it and the bed apart and redo it before using it. We had holes poked through lampshades and plastic storage containers broken among other damage. All the workers were nice but none of them brought food or drinks with them for the entire day's work.
We provided lunch and drinks for all of them both days. The owner also told us that our floors and door facings would be covered to protect them from damage. They did not bring anything with them for this purpose. We had to cover all our hardwood floors to prevent them from being damaged. We also paid extra for them to pack our belongings. Thank goodness we had packed most of our things before they came.
They brought used boxes and packing supplies--some looked like trash! They used all the supplies we had already bought and still just threw many of our things in clothes baskets or in the truck without being wrapped or boxed. After we received an estimate for our move, a neighbor told us NOT to use this company. We discussed our concerns with the owner and was assured he had never had any problems and would take care of us. Yes, our belongings made it, but not with the white glove service we were promised. Naturally, I received no response when I emailed the company after the move. I would NOT recommend this company!
