Diamond movers were very quick to respond with a quate and demand a deposit. I had a confirmed booking for them to arrive some time between 10 and 13. When they did not show up, I had to call multiple times to get hold of someone. They kept on promising the next hour and by 16:00 they called and suggested the do the move the next day when I confirmed that will not work, they cancelled and said they will refund me immediately. It took me 5 days of continuous follow-up to get my deposit back.

DO NOT HIRE THESE GUYS! Trust the bad reviews here and run. They were booked to start at 8am but only showed up at 9am, no explanation or apologies from them. I tried calling but the call would not go through. It never does, even if you call back on the number they use to contact you. I had to send an email to Harry asking about the removalists ETA.
Only then he replied informing they were late and would arrive at 9am. Again no explanation for the delay. That should've been the first red flag. Even though the 2 guys were careful with the furniture (only reason for a 1 star), they did not want to take 2 sofas upstairs. A friend of mine and I had to do it ourselves. They refused to do it, despite the extra charge of $50.00 for taking furniture up the stairs.
They were talking in their own language the whole time, which is rude of them. Halfway through the pick up one of the crew members snapped at my partner, said they would call their boss and finish the job right then and there. To which my partner agreed to and the guy back paddled, apologizing and continued loading the truck. Another thing worth mentioning is that they don't have tools to disassemble furniture.
What kind of removal company don't carry their own tools? Not even a simple screwdriver. Towards the end of the service provided, Harry called me informing the amount I had to pay. 7h, which was correct. However, on top of that he wanted me to pay for GST. They advertise that there are no hidden costs to their service. However, charging GST AFTER the full price it is a hidden cost, in my opinion.
Nowhere in the emails they sent me mentions that GST will be charged on top of their hourly fee. After some back and forth with Harry over the phone, he said he would not charge me for that because he would not want to make a customer unhappy. Well, surprise! I was already unhappy with the service provided. Also, they did not finish unloading the truck until I paid for their service. They held some of my furniture in the truck until I showed them the transaction.
