What a great team. We needed two trucks - as we were moving items to 2 different locations. The team was great! Very efficient and not one item was damaged. If I ever have to make another move - Metropolitan is the only company I would consider.

Best moving company in the region. Period. The office is great and friendly. The movers are super professional, work fast, and take super care of your belongings. I've used them three times, my parents and sister once, and I've recommended them to other friends who all had a positive experience. Seriously don't go with any other moving company. 10/10!

I used Metropolitan Moving & Storage for a move from Washington DC to the NYC-area. They were fast, careful and professional. I've used several moving companies over the years and this experience was the best by a long stretch.

Professional and wonderful movers. I found out about metropolitan movers through a family member who used them in the past and I am so glad I called. Everyone I spoke with from the time I scheduled to the actual move was kind and helpful. These movers worked so effectively and quickly I was floored (in the best of ways of course) I had my things moved into storage and was worried I'd need more space- I asked the team before they unloaded if they thought I needed a bigger unit and they assured me they were confident they could make it work, I trusted them and I'm so glad I did.

Everything was well organized and placed, much better than I would have done on my own. Moving is stressful enough, do yourself a favor and give them a call- you won't regret it. I know I will definitely be relying on metropolitan movers for my next move in the area.

This moving company was recommended by close friends who used them recently for a local move in D.C. They are not the cheapest moving and storage company but you get what you pay for! They were extremely professional, great communication, reliable on their promised moving dates, careful and the movers are unbelievably sweet and HARD WORKING! They wrapped and unwrapped everything, set up the furniture, hauled away the packing material.

This was a big and stressful move for me but the actual transfer of my stuff was the least stressful part of the process due to the professional help and care provided by this company. I highly recommend them. Worth the $$ in my opinion.

Quick note as Metropolitan's pros just left my move. As one of the owner's of a real estate company, we have first hand knowledge of the business and how the movers can make the whole process enjoyable or stressful. Metropolitan in my eyes gets an A+! Can't say enough positive things not just in the moving team, but also the front and back office scheduling and rescheduling at times - they are all about the customer.

Charged us less than the initial quote, the moving crew was on time and moved our entire house very fast and efficiently. The service we received was absolutely exceptional at all stages of the moving process. We moved over 500 miles and no items were lost or damaged. One of the employees also drove our car for a very reasonable fee. They definitely reduced the stress associated with a huge move.

The pouring rain did not damper Jorge, Daniel and Oscar's hard work. They covered my white carpets and little clean up after the move.
