Sherman movers did great job with our Carmel move. The crew was professional, on time and friendly. I highly recommend them and will use them again for sure!

Since 2014, I have been involved in 5 major moves. Moving is never fun for anyone. Each time I have moved, I called Sherman movers. These guys arrive on time, take a quick look at what you have, and then get to work. They are friendly and no nonsense when it comes to the move. They are there to get the job done. They are also very flexible in what they can do for you.

We had a couple of extra stops and some quirky requests that they handled with no issues (time permitting of course). They are priced fair in the market place and work a lot harder than some of the competition out there. I don't plan on moving anytime soon. But if I did. My first call would be to Sherman Movers! You won't be disappointed!

We needed an old piano removed from our house and it required moving it from a ceramic floor (so very easy to crack with the piano),g oing down some stairs and then out the front door. The crew of Rob, Jarred, and Chris were excellent - so pleasant, polite, courteous, thorough, and careful. They required minimal movement of furniture and what furniture did need to be moved, they insisted on doing it themselves instead of me. The crew was fast, efficient, and economical and we would absolutely hire them again.

We used them April of 2021 when we moved to Zionsville from Blackford County! Workers were caring and very professional! Will use again if needed! Recommending to friends!

Sherman Moving & Storage moved us in 2004 and now again in 2022. Again, just as before they provided great service with a great team that took care of us and our belongings. Both of our moves were within the surrounding Indianapolis area and were able to be completed within the day. Their estimating was spot on, sending two trucks and 5 movers. Greatly appreciated working with each of the movers as all were very professional, personable and easy to work with.

They treated our home and our belongings like it was their own. Thank you again to James and his team of Avery, Brandon H, Kevin, and Rob J. for putting in a full day to get us moved. James was a pleasure to work with as he communicated clearly the days expectations, next steps along the way and wrap up. Very much appreciated that it was apparent he and his team knew what they were doing and that we would be and were well taken care of. Again, thank you and highly recommend.

The crew of 4 (Brandon H., Braden, Larry, & Ronnie) were on time hard workers, very courteous and eager to answer any questions. Most items went to storage and some to temporary apartment -- they never complained and got it all right! We were impressed at how they kept working with little to no break time. Looking forward to using same crew when it's time to move into completed home in a few months!

They did a good job moving all of my furniture, equipment. etc. The only complaint is both my Weber grill cover and gas fire-pit cover were both torn in the move, and those are costly to replace. Service: In-county removals

One of the workers in truck 2215 made rude and vulgar gestures to my wife as we were driving in the Indianapolis area. Reported it to a gentleman at their dispatch center. Rude inappropriate would not use or recommend.

This is the second time we have used them to move our son. They were early, professional and so quick. We had a sofa sleeper that had to go from a second floor house to a second floor apartment - No problem. These guys know what they are doing - I will always use them! Service: Local moving

Don't use this business. I was thoroughly fleeced. They charged twice what they quoted. I noticed quite a few good reviews and some bad reviews which leads me to think if the following is an issue: 1)Is there a difference in groups in this organization? 2)Do they respond differently based on their perception of the customer? Either way, avoid this businesses I would give them minus 5 stars

Great service, efficient and careful with my belongings. One didn't seem to appreciate that I wanted him to wear a mask though. Other two were great. It's my 2nd move in less than a year and I would call them again. Services: Senior move, Local removals

The first mistake the company made was providing a quote without visual inspection of the items to be moved. I could not imagine a moving company could be in business for as long as they claim without knowing the fallacy of this practice unless their aim was to defraud and conflate the charges from the beginning. Next, they set up several reasons during the move to justify charging more than the estimate.

I paid for packing and moving but they refused to pack saying the stuff was "too much" for them. There was visible damage to some of the furniture after the move. They whined during the move about various reasons for not moving some of the items. Professionalism was variable among the team of movers but lacking overall. I ended up paying lot more for the move itself even though I had paid for packing and moving.

The final bill came out to be around $400 per hour. If you want to contribute to increasing the stress level of your move and enjoy getting ripped off while receiving poor quality work, choose this company for your next move

We hired Sherman Moving & Storage recently to help us move out of the home we had been in for 16 years. The gentlemen that showed up were extremely friendly, courteous and FAST! We had a fairly complicated 2 story house that they had loaded out and unloaded into the new place in a very short time. I would HIGHLY recommend Sherman Moving and Storage any time.

Wow, they were great in our move today. Everything went smoothly and not a single ding on our walls or furniture. They are super experienced and knew how to get big items up our stairs that took a turn halfway up. It was very impressive! They were professional and courteous and worked fast. We used Sherman moving this week to move from Indiana to Missouri. We could not be more pleased. After spending several days reading horror stories on long distance movers was delighted to discover excellent reviews for Sherman. We filled out the information for a quote online and immediately got a reply email from Jason. We gave him a call and. within a short time he emailed us a quote.
