Talisha was very helpful show me several units explained how I could probably assist myself and packing it properly and what I canning cannot do in the property you find a place very clean and lovely and well drained if you considering the fact there's outdoor units there's a lot as well drainage so no flooding what happened

The pros: The units are clean and the staff us generally helpful. Cons: Prices go up every few months. I recently encountered a bad experience. I traveled from another state to come to my unit which was paid and in good standing just to find that a staff member put a lock on my unit so I was unable to get into my unit. When I got to FL I was staying an hour from Pembroke Pines so it took me an hour to get to Handy Storage.
I made it there around 7 so the office was closed. I drove an hour to get there couldn't get in called the after hours number no answer. Drove an hour back to my hotel just to drive an hour back the next morning to get help from someone in the office. The employee told me he didn't understand why the lock was on the unit and he removed it.
He told that my account was in good standing. I emailed the manager who credited me $20. I told them that doesn't even cover half a tank of guess let alone the full tank I burned driving back and forth along with tolls. When I responded asking them to do better than $20 they stopped responding to me. Smh

I've had my possessions stored at Handy Storage off and on since 2015. They are the best in my opinion.and I dont say that lightly. The personnel who have worked at the Plantation office have always been very professional, friendly and most of all helpful when needed. The prices are affordable and I've never had an issue with anything here or any of my units being disturbed for any reason.
They have all different sizes of units (Ive had several different sizes over the years) and thry have climate contolled or ourdoor units. Special shout out to Celeste for being so helpful. Great place if you need storage!

We recently moved from NY to Florida and needed a storage facility to temporarily hold some of our household items. I had the pleasure of meeting Celeste and Adam in the Plantation facility. They were both extremely helpful and got me set up in an appropriately sized unit. The facility itself is very clean and is convenient to our current home. Getting all set up with the paperwork and unit was a breeze. I'd like to thank both Celeste and Adam for their help and would highly recommend using this facility for any of your storage needs.
