Don't waste your time with finding anyone else. I spend hours calling and waiting for quotes from all moving companies and "piano movers". Went from calling all the moving companies and decided to call piano stores. I called a piano store in Seattle and they are the ones that recommended Piano Pro because that's who they use. Piano pro move was prompt, detailed, and so fast! Not to mention competitive pricing. Other outfits wanted to charge more for an upright. Alton and Cody are top notch! Thanks you guys!

These are the best piano movers, here is why - when getting my floors redone I had to deal moving my baby grand piano which I have had for 40 years. Jacob was great with communication as the schedule shifted several times due to supply chain issues. The crew arrived on time and immediately set my anxiety about having my piano moved at ease, they know what they are doing.
As I was getting the entire first floor done Jacob helped problem solve a solution for storing the piano in the garage for the week. I really appreciated the communication, the professionalism and overall the way they handled my piano.

Pro Piano Move did a wonderful job moving my grandmother's black upright Steinway. I am very happy with the service and would recommend them to others looking for professional and easy-to-arrange piano moving. I had an unusual situation and was coordinating moving the piano from a family friend's house while I am located across the country. They made it very easy to coordinate with myself and the family friend in a seamless and simple way. I appreciate all of the help!

Pro Piano Move helped us move into our new house and moved our 6'10 concert grand piano. They were on time, super professional, had a wonderful attitude and were an absolute joy to work with. They got the piano in the new place fast and expertly, were patient on placement, and took great care of our piano -- not a scratch and everything looking and sounding perfect. HIGHLY RECOMMEND them and will definitely use again if we need to move!

I reached out to several companies about moving a piano that was being given to me. Pro Piano was the only one that was responsive, and were immediately so. Another company never responded to my request for a quote, and the third sent me a response with a link to the quote, and when I went to look at it the next day it had been deleted on their end.
Apparently if you don't look immediately they assume you aren't interested, despite it being less than 24 hours from when I requested the quote! The team that picked up and delivered my piano was very courteous and efficient. I can't speak for the pick up side of things, but they were polite when they called to inform me they were on their way, they were understanding when I requested they all be masked since I am immunocompromised with cancer, and they did the move in with speed and efficiency.
They gave me useful information for how to move the piano if necessary to slightly adjust location and they were overall very professional. My only problem with the experience was in my communications with the office. I do not have an active phone so everything had to be handled over email, and several questions I asked were ignored, despite asking more than once for information.
That left me feeling uncomfortable about how things were going to be handled with the delivery since the person I was emailing was not willing to be responsive to my questions, which were reasonable issues to ask about. Overall I can recommend this company, but only if you are able to speak directly to them to get answers.

Such an easy process from when I first contacted them to the actual move. They were fast to respond and schedule a time that worked. Crew showed up earlier than scheduled (a bonus!) and both my friend who gifted me the piano and myself were impressed at how fast and carefully their three person crew moved the piano. Pro piano Move was recommended to me and I would def recommend them to anyone!

We had what we thought was a challenging move - an upright piano to go up 2 flights of stairs with 180 degree turns at the end of each flight. Pro Piano Move was able to assess the job from photos sent to them, without a site visit, and offered a reasonable price quote + time. They were flexible and responsive with scheduling. The moving team performed the move efficiently and with expertise. They brought all the necessary equipment to protect both the piano and the surrounding building, and in a surprisingly short time, the piano was upstairs and in place.

Needed to move my upright to a new place about 15 minutes away, with one flight of stairs. Super easy to schedule with via yelp messaging and follow up by phone. Four young men showed up and process was smooth, they wore masks, were timely, protected the deck, and most importantly piano was intact! Price was fair, a bit cheaper than other groups. Also appreciated that I was given the exact estimate of cost rather than a range. Will use them again if we move again!

Great communications and service. I had a super simple move from living room to bedroom.about 30 ft apart. I contacted 3 companies for quotes. I gave each company the necessary info (location, has elevator, 2nd floor, no weird angles, etc.). They were the only one who replied promptly, and didn't ask me a bunch of stupid questions so they can give me a "more accurate quote". I've moved pianos about 10 times so I appreciate them giving me a straight quote without any fuss. The move went smoothly and quickly. Would definitely use them again!

They are the best pros in the field! We just got our Steinway moved. They arrived on time at the pick up location with 4 guys. They know every single part of the piano and dissemble and assemble professionally. Our stairs are super narrow and tight with overhang. With all the difficulty, they are able to handle it in a pro way. I would love to recommend them to everyone care about the quality of move and her/his piano. I will say it worths every single penny of my money.

I had an upright grand that needed to come up a flight of stairs from the garage to the main level of a three story house. I sent pictures and measurements to the company ahead of time and they responded quickly and with a competitive quote. They were able to get me in the next day. The crew was smart, knowledgeable, and--above all--efficient. And my 110 year old piano wasn't damaged one bit (and neither were my walls)! Wonderful work!

Pro Piano Move is the best, most professional piano moving company I have ever used. They not only kept me in the loop, they also notified my customers of schedule changes throughout the day. They use the most up to date equipment and are very helpful on pickup and delivery! I will always choose Pro Piano Move over any other mover.

I had a simple move of a spinet from the main floor to the garage of a split level so we could finish the floors of our new place. Pro Piano gave me a competitive quote through Yelp and provided me with a bunch of options for scheduling. A quick phone call got me on the schedule. They were super responsive via Yelp messaging and easy to get a hold of by phone.
The next day, three guys showed up and took care of the move in 15 minutes. I was impressed that even though this piano didn't need white glove treatment (it was a freebie that came with the house and already had some damage) they treated it with respect. Friendly, professional, and easy. Thank you!

We have a 1944 Spinet that we got for free a couple years ago and has since been sitting in our garage We decided it's about time to get it moved in and asked for quotes from a few moving companies as we had 2 flights of stairs to move it up and just couldn't do it ourselves. A local moving company actually referred us to Pro Piano Move as they didn't do pianos themselves.
They came out within a week of contacting them via Yelp to move the piano and did a fabulous job. They brought a 3 man crew, they laid pads to protect our hardwood floors, and navigated our 1970 split level like. well. Pros. They were on time, friendly, accommodating, reasonably priced, and took great great care of our vintage Spinet. We would happily use them again and happily refer them to our friends.

Okay, a final follow up. We resolved the issue, we got our piano back, and it was well cared for. That being said, I do think Pro Piano Move has some serious issues with communication. There was one person who dealt with us professionally and did what he said. Perhaps if we had not had a litany of unreturned calls and emails from the rest of the outfit, would have been a less traumatic experience.

Response times where very slow. I requested a quote via yelp, they responded the next day and all seemed good. I then said I'd like to schedule and gave them the date. They responded that they would check availability and get back to me, they never did. I then tried calling. We did the quote thing again over the phone, then I said I'd like to schedule.
They said to email them. So I emailed them and never got a response. I ended up giving up and finding a different company, the other company had me booked and confirmed by the very next morning.

These guys are a gem! We had them move an upright piano from our parents house to ours and they were quick and efficient. Easy out and easy in. They are licensed and insured and definitely knew how to handle our piano. It was very easy communicating via email with them because of their quick response time. I looked into several different piano moving companies and some people quoted us ridiculous prices because they were located in different cities. Pro piano movers are located even further than them, yet quoted me half the cost!

I have moved this regular sized upright 5 times, and this was both the easiest potential move in terms of stairs; navigation, but the worst in terms of the moving company: it's the first time I've had damage to the house/piano from "pro" piano movers. Luckily it was minor: they bashed the side of the piano into the ceiling above the staircase (see photo) because they started off using the wrong technique and decided to press forward rather than restarting.
Piano got a bit of paint damage. Hopefully all will be fixable easily, haven't had a chance to work on it yet. They also didn't say a word to apologize for the damage. The crew was also complaining about the difficulty of the move and said I should have had to pay more. I found this very unprofessional. They also were arguing amongst themselves more than I expected.
At the end they left a mess of dirt, sticks, and such that was on their padding materials or shoes from previous moves for some reason. I was also surprised at the cost. Maybe it's normal for Seattle, but I had the same piano moved by pros in San Francisco for the same price, going up 6 flights of a windy staircase. This was a simple move up to the 2nd floor and they charged the same. For the price I really didn't expect any trouble. I'll go with A1 Piano next time.

Fantastic, professional, friendly and fair; definitely one of the best piano moving companies in the state. I've had large and very large grand pianos (Studio 7' and Concert Grand 9' pianos) moved many times in various cities (Seattle, Austin, Boston, Albuquerque) and have a knowledge base from which I speak. Helge has been in the business of moving pianos for over 40 years, and it shows.
He recently moved a 7' Baldwin grand from my recording studio that I sold, and then last weekend moved my 9' Concert Grand Steinway into a new location. Not a scratch on either. The Steinway move was particularly difficult, up tall stairs and around a tight corner, and they handled it extremely well. These guys are the BEST!
