Mountain Movers

At approximately 10:50 am on Friday, June 24th, I witnessed a large Seattle Movers truck make an illegal left turn onto Yale by 24 Hour fitness. The truck was in a thru only lane and made a DANGEROUS and wild left turn into a full lane of cars. If the lady if the left lane had not seen the truck being belligerent, she would have been smashed. Besides the turn, they took it at no less than 30mph. Great to see the quality of movers/drivers they hire!

I moved my 1 bedroom apartment with the help of Seattle Movers and I'm happy with their service. They arrived on time and didn't damage anything through the move. I do think that they would work much more efficiently if you stay with them. I did have a few minor issues. They said they will send two guys, but they sent 3. They didn't tell me anything about extra charges for that, not the day before, not when 3 guys showed up and I asked them I was told they'll send two guys.

At the end though they showed me the invoice and the rate was higher. I called them the next day and they totally agreed to respect the agreed upon rate, which is fair and nice. They also sent the truck from a further location, which I wasn't expecting considering that they do charge for driving time. Again, I mentioned this to them and they considered the closer location for their estimate. I appreciate them being understanding, but I'd prefer more honesty and better planning upfront. Overall I'm very happy with the service.

Nino, Ralf, and Brad perfectly helped my 1B apartment moving last week. With large items such as 75-in TV, coffee table with glass top, clavinova, couch which I was originally worrying about (and more than 30 boxes of stuff), they not only took well care of them, but also completed the whole moving quicker than I expect (~60mins moving everything out & ~70mins move everything in). I feel secure to have them handle my apartment moving, and will absolutely want to work with them again for my next moving!

Showed up right as the POD was dropped off, super friendly and made quick work of everything. Would definitely use again.

Absolutely awful experience. I scheduled these movers 2 weeks in advance, and confirmed the move with the foreman the Friday before my Tuesday move. Morning of I text the foreman again to ensure they're coming, and get no response. An hour after they were suppose to be there still nothing. I called the office multiple times with no response. Finally got someone on the line they said they'd find out for me.

Half an hour goes by still no call back. An hour and a half after my move was scheduled they finally let me know they do not have anyone to perform this move and can't come. Anthony in the office hung up on me and then refused to take any more of my calls. Once I finally found same day movers, I let him know via text that I was cancelling and he proceeded to call me names. Avoid this company at all costs.

Horrible experience and very unprofessional crew. They charged for 3 hours and only helped for less than 2 hours. They were very unprofessional and moved the stuff as if they weren't getting paid. They damaged dresser and walls. I wouldn't recommend and trust their service.

Pick up was excellent and easy, handle stuff with care. 3 man crew was fast but gentle with our stuff. I was needy and needed to get in one of my boxes in storage, and team had them front and center ready to go. Martin rocks A+ service and overall great guy, we will use Seattle movers again Will

The guys that showed up were friendly, efficient and were total pros. More than happy with the job they did. But also, and just as importantly, the customer service was better than I could have hoped for. Their bid was lower than 2 other companies I called, Martin was so responsive and quick to get back to me - and they also accommodated my changing the date of my move 3 times and assured me it was no big deal. Moving is incredibly stressful - and while we had many hiccups with almost EVERYTHING else related to our move, these guys only made things easier. I can't recommend them enough.

I've used Seattle Movers three times now - twice for small moves due to remodeling (think moving the upstairs into the basement and back again) and yesterday for a whole-house move. I cannot say enough about how terrific Nino and the rest of the crew was. Our new home has A LOT of stairs and they didn't miss a step (pun intended), hauling a four bedroom house without complaint. Oh, and did I mention we have a shitton of books, vinyl LPs and wood furniture? Well, we do, and they lugged it all and did it in record time without any damage.

They also went above and beyond, unpacking two new chairs and attaching the legs for me. After 13 years in our old house this move has been more stressful that I anticipated and there has been an assortment of mishaps. The ONE thing that has gone smoothly? Working with Seattle Movers. Pro tip: these guys are terrific, but they aren't psychic. Label your boxes clearly - the better organized you are, the more efficient they are.

If I could give them less than 1 star I would. Confirmed my move for June 16th. they never showed up to my POD and their voice mail was full. I sent multiple texts and never heard back. I waited for four hours at my POD. to this day, I have never heard back from anyone at this moving company. BEWARE!

Scott and Hector supported our move yesterday during record heat and were amazing! Respectful, great attitudes and an absolute pleasure to have on what was a miserably hot day. Scott is packing Tetris genius as I wasn't sure our stuff would all fit, but he easily figured it out. Great care was taken with our belongings and we couldn't have asked for a better crew. Thank you again and I highly recommend.

Martin and his team were amazing during our move from California to Washington. They were able to hold our belongings for us for a couple of days in their warehouse and then move our stuff into our new place the day we got our keys. He and his crew were very professional, responsive to our questions, communicative on logistics, worked efficiently, handled our things with great care, and did an fantastic job. Will definitely use Seattle Movers for all of our moves and we highly recommend!

I flew up from Sacramento to help my son who is out of the country move out of his apartment in Bellevue. Anthony and Derek came the first day to pack, they were fast and efficient! I was surprised by how courteous these two guys were and respectfull of my sons furniture. And cheerful, did I mention that they were cheerful? They helped me out with a couple things that needed to be sorted through and taken apart.

They got to the apartment first thing the next day and got the truck loaded within a couple hours with a couple of extra helpers - Obe and Hector. Again very courteous and fast and efficient. After getting to the storage unit, they got it all tucked in and door down ready for my son to get when he moves back. Being from out of state, I was a little apprehensive but these guys took care of everything and went beyond my expectations. I will definitely recommend my son use them again when he comes back!

I had a move out of a studio apartment, they moved all my boxes/bags quickly with all the proper equipment. Arrived across town quickly and unloaded everything and set it up in my new place with no damage to my things! Obi and the other mover(steve?) were great!

Movers were polite and kind. They worked really hard. I would just say overestimate a little bit to compensate with how long your move might take.

They made our move easy. We also had a storage unit to empty which they were undeterred by but we were! They emptied it. They charge by the hour which worked out really good for us. They arrived on time. They took good care of our belongings. They were so courteous and polite. I would hire them again in a minute.

Movers arrived as scheduled. The move happened on a weekday and overall, the move was only 1.5 hrs. The movers were nice and I would definitely recommend again. I am most impressed by the customer service of their Operation Manager Martin. Definitely one of the best customer services in Seattle. I called other movers and most were booked out for weeks. Seattle Movers were able to accommodate my schedule and I'm very thankful for their quick responsiveness. Definitely recommend for all movers.

I had a challenging move that involved taking some of the furniture on the roof to get it in/out through a sliding glass door located on a 2nd floor balcony. Seattle Mover's insurance policy did not allow for this, but they were great in that they provided me with the name/number of another moving company that may be able to tackle the project. Very professional, and it's a great indication that Seattle Movers value customer service.

Used them for a little move, dispatch was good but movers not. They arrived around 9AM and were super tired. I know it's a hard job, but it's company responsibility to let movers take a rest. They didn't packed my stuff properly and that's why it becomes scratched. Also, I believe if they were not THAT tired, my move might be twice faster and cheaper.

Team from Seattle movers showed up on time after doing walkthrough went straight to work.had to appreciate the fact that not only my belongings were taken care of they took good care of my home as well putting blankets on floor etc. Way to go Seattle movers for pushing on being professional

Had Seattle Movers do the move for our office. A few things. 1) There are scratches, dents, and dings on our filing cabinets, glass display cabinet, and desks. 2) One of the legs to our console table broke. during the move 3) A few days prior to the move, the height restriction for the loading dock was noted. However, the truck that showed up was too tall for the loading dock, forcing us to move through the main entrance of the office, adding hours to the billable time.

We determined that buying new pieces would be less of a head ache than filing a claim against them through our lawyers. Cannot recommend Seattle Movers for commercial/business moves. It just doesn't meet the standards.

I should have given this company a bad review two years ago when we hired them, but I wrote it off to just being a bad crew. Someone else in my building hired them last month, though and it reminded me what a nightmare this company is to work with. Two years ago, our crew spent the whole time sending personal texts while billing us by the hour. We also had exactly 2 boxes that we told them were extremely fragile and essentially irreplaceable.

One of the guys took these boxes haphazardly to the truck and I heard a VERY loud crash. I went to check on it and found him shifting boxes on the dolly. When I asked if they fell he lied to me and said no. (This guy also broke one of our doors during the move and tried to claim that it was that way before. It wasn't.) I think they also charged us by the hour when they went looking for a stolen backpack that one of them had left outside.

Fast forward two years-- These guys come in to move someone in our building out. They were shouting, dropping things, and just making a lot of noise and chaos. Later that evening we found a gang-related slogan carved into our elevator wall. Nothing like that has ever happened in our small condo building before. It seems suspicious. Also, more recently someone in our building moved out with a different company. I barely noticed those guys come in and out.

Andrei, Max, Nick and Dmitry were so helpful and fast. They were able to problem solve, answer questions and get everything where it needed to be. I was really impressed. They wrapped everything carefully and were patient with the unloading. Thank you!

We were very pleased with our experience with Seattle Movers, and our most recent move was our second time using this company, the experience was consistent across both moves, even though it was almost 5 years between them. They were good at communicating when they would arrive and were able to be flexible as we pinned down the closing date on our new home.

They were very professional, and I was impressed at how efficient they were. All of the guys were also very friendly, and were willing to listen if we asked them to move something they had already placed. I definitely recommend Seattle Movers.

I just had these guys move my stuff from Redmond to downtown Seattle. The move was awesome and the two men were professional. Below there was a review from Fred J. and he is referring to my move. First off he wasn't even a customer so his review shouldn't matter BUT what he was asking was unreasonable from my perspective. I had a 9 am move so I did the right thing and blocked off an area big enough to accommodate the moving truck before they showed up.

They put their truck at the designated moving spot (which is meant for large trucks only) and unfortunately there was only one spot. They wanted my movers to move their truck to a spot which would slow things down at my expense and they did not comply with the NON-CUSTOMER's request which was awesome of them. It's not my fault or this company's fault that my movers showed up before them and got the good spot. A+ service from these guys.

As I type this, one of Seattle Movers' trucks has been parked in front of my house, blocking not only my driveway but also the entire street for the last 45 minutes. I called the company and spoke with Martin, asking him to have the truck moved so that it is not blocking the thoroughfare. He assured me he would have it moved. 25 minutes later I went outside to ask the movers how much longer they would be.

After expressing my concern that they were completely blocking all traffic on the block, including emergency response vehicles (there are two assisted living facilities on this block) they responded "That's the way it is sometimes". Maybe "that's the way it is sometimes" is how these guys run their business, but I will certainly never recommend any company as rude and thoughtless as Seattle Movers.

Can't be bothered with getting parking permits, drives over freshly seeded flowerbeds on personal property to wedge a way to large truck down an ally. Better not plan on having any friends in the old neighborhood if you use these clowns! I'm sure you'll save money and be out of the neighborhood so what do you care.

Fast, quiet down three flights of stairs (how?), and when we unpacked a haphazard kitchen box the ice cream cones weren't broken. THAT is a FEAT, friends! Paid about $5000 for packing, moving and unpacking. The worst was paying to be "unpacked" by having multiple wardrobe contents dumped, literally, into piles on the floor in 3 rooms. I paid for this - and had to pay additionally someone to come fix the mess. Hand carved antique dining chair was lost. The site touts customer service; they refused to fix this. If I had the time, we would have ended up in Small Claims Court.

Great! timely. cost was marketable. friendly. my wood antique furniture was handled very well. wrapped and arrived in perfect condition. Express Movers set up my furniture and beds. stacked my boxes where I asked so I could unpack at my convenience. I will use Express Movers every time I move in the future! thank you Express Movers!

Express Movers provides a free quote by phone or email, which is definitely convenient. I love that it's a family run business, going for a decade strong. They deliver superior quality & service. If you're looking for a mover in the Seattle area, they will get the job done. Definitely a smart choice hiring these professionals, instead of breaking my back trying to do it myself or inconveniencing friends!

When I hired Express Movers for my mom, I was impressed with the ease of the move and how pleasant the movers were. Unfortunately, once things were transported, we discovered that many collectible items were broken or damaged, including a 35 year old grandfather clock. Instead of taking responsibility and apologizing, Toni, the moving manager, blamed us for the damage and went as far to say I can use a marker to cover up the damage or order replacement glass from Neiman Marcus. Really?! I still have not received the claim form Toni supposedly mailed out. Next step.attorney involvement.

Express Movers handled a complicated move for me with no issues. They received my household goods from a container company, loaded it onto their truck, met me at a barge ramp, took a barge ride in the Puget Sound to deliver my household goods to an island not serviced by the Washington ferry service. Quite an adventure for all and it was handled with no mishaps or fuss.

I was very impressed with the service that I got from Express Movers. Not only were they the cheapest value around, the movers provided excellent service! They knew where to put some of the boxes better than us! It made this stressful time of moving a fun time! Nice job, Express Movers!

As I looked at moving companies, we found Express Movers in Seattle. One of the things I liked was that there are a local moving company. Our move was from Seattle to Bellevue, and they were efficient and careful with our valuables. We also needed storage for some items, and they were able to take and store for us at their storage facility. This saved me a whole day! Thank you for doing a great job!

The team that came to move our house was overall pretty good. This was my first time hiring movers, and they did a good job of packaging all my valuables so that they wouldn't get damaged. However, one of my console table legs did get slightly cracked during the move. Everyone wants to not have any damages, but things happen during a move. They were able to repair my table leg and return it back to me.

I was very appreciative of that. I think its more important to evaluate how companies respond to you when there is a problem versus trying to find a company that's problem free according to reviews. All of us are humans, so we're going to make a mistake, but its important to own up to the mistake and fix it, and Express Movers did that.
