Marshall and the team at Classic Design Services have been absolutely amazing. As a customer who needs constant receiving & delivery services, I have had trouble since relocating to Atlanta finding a reliable, careful moving crew with great attitudes. They are very organized and send you receiving reports with photos of your items so it is assured your items are in good hands. Highly recommend.

On August 19, 2021 my furniture was delivered to my home in Newnan GA by your company. The two young men were very professional and friendly. I received the call 30 minutes prior to their arrival. After the furniture was assembled they cleaned up nicely. I don't remember their names. From the signature on my paper I think one of their last name is Strat.

This was a company many years ago which were wonderful. March 2018 they came to our house in Atlanta to put things in storage after packing them. One person turned up! They moved our remaining items into storage in Atlanta may 2018. June 2018 they brought our things to Amelia island. They had to get a third delivery truck as they had left 1/3 of our stuff in Atlanta.

They destroyed a 130 year old antique clock when they unpacked it and lost several items. Three years later our clock has still got issues even though it has been in the hands of an expert, this clock had come from Scotland to the USA, worked beautifully until it was in the hands of this company. I felt disgusted and upset then and am still feeling exactly the same so very sad to see a formally good company go downhill so much. At this time i was told that this company was undergoing changes hence the issues. Totally unexceptable

Do not use this Company - residents and Designers alike! Please read my review and know that your move can easily go like this. Classic has a great sales process - they outline all of your move details and then tell you they have committed a team that is capable of executing the packing and move you need - and then the day of actually packing comes, and then moving, and everyone is late, the team is light, , the whole move goes wrong, and you end up missing your computer and it is a disaster.

Classic has not tried to make this right; they do not like to respond to calls; they are too understaffed to even figure out how to make a move go correctly the day of. Below is a sample of how our day went - Our move was pretty normal - a house with ~1800 square feet and some outdoor and under the house items that needed to be moved 3 miles away on the same side of Atlanta.

We hired Classic to pack our house and move - every detail was discussed with our Sales Rep, Billie Sims - from our experience, Sales Rep notes do not make it to the actual packing and moving teams. Day 1: Packing - On the day of packing - we were promised (actually paid a 50% multi-thousand dollar deposit based on this) that 3 packers that would work 8 hours; 9am to 5pm to pack everything. Instead, 2 packers showed up late and left early. Billie told us that not only would we be packed the day before moving, but also that our move needed loading the day before and that would happen also. Instead, our house was half packed, with no loading, and the 2, instead of 3 person packing team, left early.

Day 2: Moving (and still Packing) - Billie made it clear that this move could not happen in one day; which is why she told us that pre-loading would happen on Day 1. Zero pre-loading. Instead, on the day of Moving, no one showed up on time. I called and called and called Billie to find out where our movers were. Billie did not respond for the entire hour that everyone was late - movers and packers - 9am - no one. 9:30am - no one. 10am - not only no movers but our house still is not packed!

Not only were the movers late on the day of moving, but the packers could not even show up to finish a job that was promised to be complete the day before! The "move" itself: - Items we specially told them not to move were "moved" (and by moved I mean a laptop we told them not to touch is now missing - the "investigation" on their side has been on-going for over a week with no concession; guessing we have to file a Police Report against them next.) - The moving team drank alcohol out of our fridge; not only opened and took drinks from my fridge after I bought them multiple cases of water and lunch, but drank alcohol and got very defensive when we asked them about it; AND, - Asked me multiple times to buy them cigarettes - Complained all day about the move because it was raining - Threw left-over french fries (that I bought) in my yard Is the professionalism of this team coming through yet?

Do you want them moving your family? Day 3: We are missing a lot of items that were promised to be packed and moved; for which neither happened. Classic did not reach out at all to discuss completing the move. I repeat: Classic could not care less that our old house was still not packed and moved based on the 50% deposit I paid for this all to happen.

Day 6: We finally get Classic to finish packing up some items and moving them. EXCEPT they forget most of the outdoor furniture and items under the house. And refuse to put my grills on the deck I need. AND I have to call multiple times for this to happen Day 7: Other things arrive and are placed correct (whoever this crew is needs to start their own business separate from Classic) - but laptop and charger, which I explicitly told everyone not to touch - are still missing.

Please call me - this is the truth. The worst moving experience for my family and young kids - The "Company" does not care. No one has reached out to me besides some Reuben investigator guy. Hopefully this review will make management wake up.

They are more expensive than comparable Atlanta moving companies I have used. They estimated $600-$750 for a job for me, ended up charging $875 with no explanation as to why the increased price beyond what they estimated. When I inquired about this, they told me they showed me "courtesy" in not charging me more money, still with no explanation as to why they exceeded their estimated range so significantly. I found another company subsequently for same trip and moving a larger item that charged me $350.

Classic is top notch! The are professional, kind, hard working and wonderful to work with! Everyone the move schedulers, packers, loaders, movers, to the warehouse storage men and woman are first class! I have been honored to work with them for years 15 or 20 and do presently about a move a week and they rock! THE BEST!

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. I have used them over the years and always had a good experience with their art guys and the last gentleman that handled their customer service but since they moved a few years ago, the woman that has taken over customer service has been atrocious. It takes multiple emails and voicemails just to get even an acknowledgement (and even longer to get an answer or a quote) and half the time the response is just rude and condescending.

There are MUCH better options out there from people who are more pleasant to deal with and who know what they're doing. I wouldn't trust them with a used tire, let alone fine art or furniture.

We purchased five pieces of furniture from Matthews Furniture here in Atlanta who use Classic Design Services for storage/ delivery. Three out of the five items ordered arrived to classic around July 20th and were scheduled to be delivered to me on July 30th. When July 30th came 1 out of 3 pieces actually showed up even after receiving a call confirming all three items.

The one piece that actually was delivered was damaged during delivery, Classic sent out a furniture repair person to touch up the item but the two door jams that were also damaged remain. So I call to find out where my other two pieces of furniture are and after a terrible time trying to get a hold of them they tell me they are on a one of the many trailers outside of their new warehouse.

Okay great. They were unable to actually find these two items until August 20th! Finally. So now my two lost items were found, and I had one additional item delivered to classic from my original furniture order. Received a call Monday August 27th from classic, set up delivery for Wednesday August 29th. So August 29th (today) delivery window between 1-5pm.

Even received a text from the designer from Matthews to check in on their scheduled delivery for today. WELL, it is currently after 6:00pm and I haven't heard anything from the company even after calling and leaving a voicemail during their business hours.

We have an antique piece that needed to be taken to be repaired. Classic Design Services doesn't return phone calls - Our insurance company wanted to use them so we waited weeks and weeks to schedule the move and then when they finally decided to be responsive they cancelled our appointment and rejected our business without explanation. If you have a choice, I would stay away from Class Design Services. They don't value your time or your business.
