Worse moving company we've ever dealt with. Do NOT use them. Showed up late, missed all commitments, did not finish the move in one day as contracted and then held our furniture hostage unless we paid the FULL amount for the job which was not even half completed. One of the crew members went ballistic for no reason at all, used very crude language calling both my husband and me names, almost had to call the police because of his violent behavior.
No one bothered to call and tell us the second day that the crew that was scheduled to arrive by 8:30 to finish the job would not be there until late afternoon. We found out only after calling the office at 9:30 questioning why no crew on site yet. This caused major downstream issues with our schedule and the schedule of our buyers. We ended up calling in another company to finish our move; paid a premium to get them out on such short notice but at least they were able to get us out of the house on time, a contractual obligation which US1 Van Lines did not meet.
We are now dealing with corporate over their breach of contract and trying to recover some compensation for them not meeting the contractual obligation. Despite the horrible experience, we would like to commend Steven, he worked hard doing the best he could under such terrible circumstances.

This was the best moving experience ever! I got a quote with Carmen and ending up paying only a little more than what was quoted ( just know drive time is more of a truck rental fee, you have the pay for drive time ). Since I knew that going in there was no issue. The team we got was the absolute best! The crew boss was named John, he was great. Louis was the best mover who has ever lived, and I told him he was amazing!
He knew how to disaseble and reassemble everything so fast! Dixon was good. They didn't mess around and didn't run out the clock, if anyone needs a mover I would recommend this team specifically!

This company is so bad, they need to give me stars for dealing with them! If you love your sanity and belongings, DONT even bother calling this company for a quote. It will be low and you'll be wooed. Then they'll tack on additional fees (despite promising you there won't be any additional charges the day of your move). They showed up 3 hours late.
They didn't finish the move. It took 3 days of badgering, crying, begging and paying the guys under the table to finish it up. We sold the house and were in breach of contract for not being out. My things went into storage and then the drama continued! They wouldn't let me have my things until I paid the bogus upcharges. I called the corporate office in Miami and they refused to consider that they might have provided bad service, never apologized for the poor treatment and didn't follow up with any return calls. Lisa is a total Jerk.
When it was time for my things to come out of storage they gave way my appointment, then told me they weren't available and then tacked on MORE additional charges. I made an appointment for another company to come pick up my things and confirmed it for 3 days leading up to it. When we arrived, Jonathan wasn't there and the guys refused to let my nice movers into the warehouse.
Then we had to wait for them to load a truck that took an hour more. (Yes, I'm paying the nice movers to wait while these jerks putz around). They finally let us in and won't give the guys access to all of my crates so they can pack the truck efficiently. They won't turn on lights in the warehouse to see, at least half of the items were missing inventory stickers and the US1 guys are rude, unprofessional and very unhelpful through the whole process.
At the last minute they realize they had a couch in another dark corner of the warehouse and make my nice movers go get it. We finally leave and get everything unloaded at my new house. Come to find out, US1 didn't give me all my things. I sent an email and get no response. So if you value your sanity and furniture, DO NOT call US 1. I wouldn't wish them on someone I didn't like since no one deserves this bad of service.
Remember I said they took 3 days to get the things out of my old house? On that final day, they told me they had been over booked and were going to call on a Sat morning and cancel 4 moves. Don't know if they did cancel them but can you imagine those poor folks who were counting on them that morning. If you DO want someone to steal or break your things, track footprints all over your carpet and put holes in your walls on moving day, call US1 Moving, they are the guys for you!

Be cautious of this company! They are very unorganized and unprofessional. Jonathan who is one of the managers in Atlanta, Georgia was very unprofessional. He was responsible for making sure that my things were packed on the delivery truck, however he did not do his job. He left my couch in the warehouse and I had to wait a month until I received it.
He did not communicate with me about the status of my delivery during this time, he wouldn't even answer my calls regarding expected delivery of my couch. After he got my money he did not care that I did not receive all of my things. I asked the company if I would receive a discount because all of my things were not delivered and it took a month, they said no. I am just glad to be done with this company. I will never use them or refer them to anyone!

We hired movers to move us from a 2400 sq ft townhouse. The movers were very quick and efficient on packing the truck, and so we could move everything in one trip. Our movers were so polite Jonathan and his crew were very careful with our belongings. The move we set up up was a hourly time-based, and they are very respectful of time and worked quickly. We would highly recommend Us - 1 Vanlines out of Atlanta

Worst moving experience ever. First I was given a quote in writing of $119 hr and 1 hour for drive time, minimum of 2 hrs. That changed to.a minimum of 3 hrs. They showed up with no tools, cracked my King headboard and it took them 4 hours to move 2 bedrooms, dining room and boxes to ground level storage facility. It took them 17 minutes to drive 3.1 miles.
I arrived 10 minutes prior to them and we left at the same time. Very rude manager by the name of Jonathan hung up on me. I Corporate added charges totally 551.00 for a 3.1 mile move and I was told, just file claim. Not apologize, anything. The crew cursed, smoked and had loud music playing. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM! ***BEWARE*** My bill started out at $968 and by the time they delivered my items, my bill was $2200 The salesperson Carmen actually quoted the incorrect price so I had to pay an additional $300. The driver completely lied about being able to pull is truck in my complex's turn-about; however they were able to pull in the complex next door, which has the same turn-about.
They charged to $500 to have my items walked around the gate-as well as the stairs. I spoke to Lisa, which was no help. The mover basically said if I don't want to pay they can leave my items on the sidewalk and I can take it upstairs myself Once I paid the money, the movers were throwing my items over the fence. When confronted they became verbally abusive and actually wanted to fight my cousin.
My couch was drug leaving a small tear on the corner of my couch. So I basically paid them to throw my items over the fence. Because of the commotion, my neighbors-as well as the leasing office came outside questioning why the movers were parked at the complex next door and throwing my items over the fence with a ladder. At that point, I just wanted my things.
I thought I could deal with a manager later about the issue.waiting on a call back I have witnesses as well as the leasing office that can vouch that the movers could have pulled up next to my building and off load with no problem. I have video of the entire incident as well as photos of my torn couch. As I have been reading to reviews, there are more customers than not that have had the same or some type of problem with the company.
They are very nice UNTIL THEY GET YOUR MONEY AND ITEMS! I work for a major airline and we move around quite a bit. I will make sure to spread the word TO NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY. Let's see if they make this right! You might be better using Mayflower. I have had a better experience with them.

I am hoping to update this review and share that they have done the right thing. I am currently very disappointed with the service provided by this company. We used the company for 2 moves- one to storage and then to our new home. The first move was without issue and we were actually very impressed! 3 of the 4 movers worked very hard and did an excellent job.
The men did an awesome job of loading our items and placing them in the storage unit with care. Then. it came time to get our items out of storage and move to our new home. 2 of the 4 movers were pretty good but the others were not nearly as helpful- one complained about the work continuously. I felt I was being guilted for asking them to place items in different locations of the home.
A number of items that are antiques or were made by my father were damaged- we were offered $20 for the damage although we were told we would receive a minimum coverage of $300 for depreciated value- total value provided for some of the items was $600. I understand accidents happen and I understand the value of these items is greater for me, but I also understand they are in a business of moving and should be qualified to do the work and address the concerns.
I contacted the company at least 6 times to try and resolve this, but was redirected or not responded to at all. The movers on the second move also overcharged us for an hour of labor and tried to charge us even more beyond that. We had an agreement that we pay for the time we use and the job was finished an hour and 15 minutes early. I have yet to even have this addressed.
I do not recommend using this company. Not only were mistakes made and we were overcharged, but more importantly they are not willing to do the right thing and even speak to me about the overcharge or about why they are only giving us the $20 instead of what was contracted for coverage. When I sign the claim for $20 I am also expected to release them for any other claim- we will be at a loss of almost $800 at that point.

I called this company US-1 Van lines and I'm delighted. Moving a huge house was scary and expensive. Thanks to the incredible staff, and the movers everything went incredibly well. The guys were amazing and they worked so hard with such a positive attitude. They made sure I was happy and satisfied. If anything needed to be moved to another room no problem, they did it with a smile.
They were absolutely AMAZING. On top of that, I could not find a moving company to give me a better price. I could not ask for anything more from the beginning to the end. A big thank you also to Tommy who are very professional and also very friendly and available.
