We recently completed an out of state move and we are very pleased with the support and customer service we received from your team of professionals. Lynette made a great first impression and was invaluable to us, delivering boxes, providing moving advice, and giving us pricing options. Cathy was a great help when we were picking up additional boxes from the warehouse; always professional and personable. Tina kept in touch every step of the way. By the time we completed our move it seemed like she was part of the family. Our driver, Cristian, was professional, on time, and very careful with our household goods.

Run for your lives! Do not do it. After a recent move from Arizona to Kansas we fully regret hiring this company. Almost all of our furniture was damaged. Anything in a box was fine. Their claims website would not accept our information so we were unable to file a claim online. We were sent paper forms to fill out and return and the move coordinator, Tina, lost the email.
I resent it and haven't received any communication from her after sending multiple emails and leaving voice messages. I sent her the forms the first time on May 4th, almost one month ago. We spent almost $8,000 and it was a total mistake. Go with another company.

Overall, the move went well. Both our Phoenix home and new Aurora, CO home were taken care of during the move. No damage to either home. Everyone involved at both ends took care to wear masks and was respectful of our needs. Angie kept us up to date throughout the move and Mike, the driver, was great making sure every aspect of the move went well.
The delivery team also did a good job. Andrew and Kevin were great at reassembling our office furniture. Excellent support to make sure vulnerable paintings and mirrors and lamps were protected.

I work here for one day, in and out the warehouse with no ac, more like a fan blowing warm air. Way hotter inside the warehouse then outside. There were no soap inside the bathroom and no testing for heat for covid-19. I wasn't train I just follow the lead from the other workers. The only good thing was the people you work with were nice and no one as ever work there more than 90 days.
Inside in front office was the only cool ac were the ladies were and the boss would come out if she saw you sitting down saying what are you doing? Literally everyone has to sit down at some point or couple time cause of the heat stroke. They don't really care about there employees just getting orders done.

Making a 3700-mile military move from Alaska. They received our household good shipment on the 13th. After several attempted phone calls with no answer, finally was able to leave a voicemail for their scheduler. No crew available until the 28. So everything we own is right here in town, but we're having to wait 2 weeks to get it delivered while we sleep on mats on the floor & sit on camping chairs.
Also suspicious that the due date set by the military was the 29th. Looks to me like Horizon is intentionally holding our stuff to get max $$ from the government for storage fees. Not the way to treat a stressed out #militaryfamily that's just anxious to get settled into a new home. 2-stars because they've at least been courteous over the phone when I've been able to reach them, and have actually returned phone calls unlike the main transport company (Suddith) who contracted them out.

I worked with Tina who coordinated our move from Portland to Tucson with a stop in storage until we found a permanent place. I cannot express the gratitude I have for Tina in making our move as smooth as possible, even down to giving a spot-on moving cost estimate and keeping to our timelines. Moving can be stressful but working with Tina was a dream.
She is a perfect example of an excellent employee, great customer care, communication and committed to doing a great job. The teams of movers were also very professional, quick and friendly. Aurelio and Alfred were exceptional when delivering our stuff to our new home in Tucson, very patient in handling our stuff. I also want to recognize Jesus who loaded his truck and safely transmitted our items to Tucson.

Critical: Professionalism BE CAREFUL BEFORE YOUR HIRE THIS COMPANY! They did a nice job packing my items. However, while moving my items, the movers stole my 2 caret diamond bangle and my David Yurman starburst ring. These items were not only very expensive but held sentimental value to me. Very disappointing!

Do not use this company, my husband and I have been living an absolute nightmare after using them. I don't even know where to begin, but to say we are disappointed is an understatement. My husband and I moved from Scottsdale to Dallas back in July and we had reached out to a few companies regarding our move & decided to go with horizon because the sells person, Steve, made it seem like we would be taken care of.
The move started and the two employees who packed up the house did a phenomenal job so we thought we had made the right decision. Unfortunately, after that it went down hill. The day before our move we received a call saying they didn't have a truck available for the date that we had agreed to. This was super frustrating because we were out of the country and had paid someone to hang at our house while the packing should have happened.
But things happen and we made different arrangements. Soooooo our load up day finally comes and the nightmare just continues. A van shows up and guess what?!? Our stuff won't fit. So they decide they are going to make 2 shipments.keep in mind we have already paid over $10,000. At this time we are even more mad, but have no choice. The solution?!
To put the rest of our things in a warehouse.in the 120° weather, UNSUPERVISED and then wait until another van becomes available. We were told it wasn't a big deal, not to worry etc. ohhhh and did I mention that the driver takes out a light post after exiting our neighborhood and doesn't tell us, which lead to our HOA reaching out to us with a not so nice email?!
Fast forward to unpacking day. Again, we had hired people to assist with unpacking but only 1/3 of our things arrived. We had to wait for the next shipment which was over a week later. Had to rehire help A second time to assist. I finally am getting around to going through our things and surprise surprise, we have tools that were stolen. Hmm.maybe when they were stolen in the unsupervised warehouse? Didn't know $10,000 would offer such a wonderful experience.
Now the best part! We just submitted our missing items and they can't//won't do anything to replace our STOLEN items.why you ask? Because we 'signed off'. I think the most aggravating thing is that they do not care about the customer, nor there missing items, thousands of dollars spent and countless emails that lead to nothing.
So moral of my story. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! PEOPLE.just received another wonderful response from horizon.please read below. Hi Natalie, from horizon! So glad you responded with so much depth on our issue. Of course you won't because it is under my husband's name. Nice try to call me out saying we were not a customer. Would you like for me to post receipts & emails?

A very good experience! Have moved many times with different carriers over the past years and this was the first with United. Our salesperson Lynette was so helpful. Our move coordinator Wanda was outstanding on keeping us informed on status. Our driver Robert was exceptional and very skilled on helping us on loading and unloading. Thank you all!

It all went very smooth. The movers on both ends were exceptional; very efficient and helpful. Wanda, the move coordinator in Phoenix, was the best. She was excellent in keeping me informed and helpful. She called me several times during the move to make sure everything was going smooth and she always took the time to explain every detail. If I ever need to move again I will only use United.

Sina M Customer Service Coordinator, called to schedule our move, and called the day before to confirm, with such professionalism. Always letting us know if we had any questions do not hesitate to call. The day of the move she called to make sure that a special cargo was packed with care! The movers Dircks Moving & Logistics did awesome. We had a short move about 22 miles, but on the hottest day, and what did not help the move out of our Rental it had the steepest driveway. Joseph J H, Christian, and Joseph L where troopers, professional, quick and got us on our way. Joseph J H, a big thank you for taking care of a special cargo, by making it a cushioned bed fit for King.
Happy dance was when they delivered to our new home, no steep driveway, no stairs, just straight in. They covered our tile floors, had everything placed in the rooms as labeled on the boxes. No move is without a bruise or two, but the office took care of it without hassle. THANK YOU GUYS! At the end the surprise was the quote was right on, thank you David J Horizon Moving and Logistics agent for United.
