Rock's Moving & Storage

Rocks moving company is fantastic! Not an easy job as I had 3500 sq feet of house that needed to get moved in a weekend! Every step of the process from receiving an estimate, scheduling, packing, storing was seamless! They assign a supervisor who makes certain everything goes smooth and mine was Walter who was absolutely incredible. They worked efficiently and stayed true to the price estimate provided. They showed up on time and the job was completed early! Do not use anyone else besides Rocks for any moving needs.

Rock's Moving Company assisted my mother with moving her heavy furniture from her apartment into a storage unit. Nick & Steve were OUTSTANDING! They arrived promptly at 9am as scheduled, listened to what needed to be moved out versus what needed to stay, shrunk wrapped the furniture, and got everything loaded and moved over in 90 minutes. They were extremely professional, courteous, and efficient movers. Cannot recommend enough!

We used Rock's Moving for 2 moves: From our house that we sold into a storage unit and then from the storage unit into our new house a few months later. We were on site for both moves, however we did not hover or micromanage the movers out of respect and trust that they were professionals and would communicate anything important to us. During the second move from the storage unit, the movers let us know they damaged a piece of our bar cart and we could either take a small credit or file a claim.

We decided to take the credit and move on. After unpacking everything, we discovered several items damaged and missing parts of things the movers broke down themselves. Both the home we sold and the storage unit were completely empty so we had no idea where these missing parts could be. We reached out to Rock's to let them know there was additional damage and missing items we discovered while unpacking and they had us submit a claim. Submitting the claim was a lengthy process due to how many items we had missing or damaged.

We sent all the details on the form, a spreadsheet and a zip file of images. Our claim was quickly denied with a brief explanation that we already received a credit (which was for the bar cart) and that Rock's does not cover missing items. This was a total waste of our time because we were told to file a claim from the start only to have it immediately denied.

We've gone back and forth for nearly 4 months, many times without a response at all, and have only received brief, dismissive answers that our claim is denied because we already received a credit. I called one final time to explain that the original credit was for the bar cart on the day of the move and I was advised it will be submitted to the owner one final time for review.

After not hearing back, I reached out again and was told "no changes will be made". That was literally the response without any explanation. We are out of a lot of time and money at this point. Overall, this was such a bad experience due to the lack of care once the move was complete and now we have to replace all of these items out of pocket.

What a rip off. Nearly a 200 travel charge. ( in which the amount was shared after the fact) Not worth it. Save your money and go somewhere else!

Wow. cannot say enough about how refreshing it was to find a Moving Company that was exceptionally responsive and professional. It's so difficult to secure a moving company that is prompt and genuinely interested in ensuring the condition of your items throughout the move so I'm thankful to have found Rock's! Dylan, in particular, responded immediately and was able to assist me with a quick move within the same week.

His commitment to delivering top quality customer service was demonstrated from start to finish. Since using them, I have recommended him to all my friends in addition to my clients as I'm in Real Estate and Property Management. I moved last week and was concerned about my precious antique furniture being damaged. Leeland, Isaiah and Caleb were so careful in wrapping and moving the pieces that everything arrived fine at my new home. They were especially kind, considerate and patient when waiting for me to place the furniture in my new home. I can't imagine having a better moving company. If there were a six-star rating, I would give them one!

Hi. I used you guys to move on February 5th and while things started off okay, I was not completely satisfied with the move or the service. Nick and his partner were nice and everything but it became pretty clear that they were not paying attention to me or my instructions and they were doing things how they wanted to do them. They also made promises that they did not in the end keep and now there is still stuff sitting at the apartment and they deliberately closed the closet door on stuff I asked them to help me pack when they first walked in.

It was toilet paper and paper towels and a cat carrier plus my camera. My hall closet just happened to be where they were, and they knew from the beginning I needed help with getting that last bit packed. Also we made a pile of trash and I asked them if they could help me take it to the dumpster. They said they would put it on the back of the truck and dump it as they left.

I also had a busted tv that needed to be trashed but I needed the screws from the feet. They told me last minute they didn't have the tools to do it even though they promised they would when they started. And if you need someone to back me up on what I asked them to do, my mom was on the phone with me. There was also a water cooler that I initially wasn't taking with me.

I told them not to pack the water bottles because they weren't coming with me. They ended up packing them anyway. In any case there is still stuff at my apartment because I thought maybe they did empty the closet for me but now I know they deliberately closed the door not once, but twice. To make it appear they had gotten it. And before I could blink they were gone Fast forward to the house.

I only had one real instruction. Anything that isn't labeled can go in the back room. Which meant stuff labeled bedroom should have been in bedroom and stuff labeled kitchen should have been in the kitchen. Etc. and since they helped me pack up the kitchen obviously that stuff should have been in the kitchen too. Instead I have spent the last two weeks trying to find things because most is it ended up just dumped into my back bedroom.

I still haven't found everything! Also their negligence causes an accident in the house. A box that actually should not have been in the kitchen at all was on the stove. One of them hit the stove and turned on the burner. They left at 4.45. At 7:15 I noticed a fire in my kitchen. As you can imagine it completely caught me off guard and I had to act quickly to get out the blaze. I'm not completely certain what was in that box not it looked like plastic and paper from the remnants.

Again never should have been in the kitchen. There was also a box where some cleaning stuff seemed to spill. All in all I now have to figure out how to get the other stuff from my house. I don't drive and it costs a lot to go from riverview to Wesley Chapel so that is going to be a hassle. I also have to figure out how to get that tv out Now.

I I'm very disappointed. I wanted to like this company because Brianne was really nice On the phone. But I won't be using them again. Also I realize nor they over charged me. They left my house at about 4:45pm yet somehow claimed it took them 9 hours to move me. Considering they left stuff at the other house and now I have to go back over there They didn't deserve the amount they got. Jamilla Geter

From start to finish the office personnel did a great job with follow-up and follow through and the moving team was extremely professional and on time. In addition the crew was very careful, respectful, efficient, friendly and moved quickly. I was very happy with all aspects of their work, service and final cost. I highly recommend Rock's Moving as a result of the impressive service they gave me.

We moved 6 times since 2014 and Rock's has provided the best service out of all. They were cooperative in offering an estimate which was priced very reasonably. The crew was friendly, professional, efficient, and careful. They had us moved out of one apartment and into our new apartment, 15 minutes away, within 4 hours. Truly a good experience

I haven't moved in 7 or 8 years and was completely dreading the day but Rock's moving helped ensure everything went smoothly! i have used Rock moving sent I met the owner over 20 years ago. I am happy to say the quality and service are still top notch and it was nice that the total came in well under the estimate. I was moving into a completely remodeled home and was very nervous about my new floors, but Leland and Will took the time to package and carry everything with care/caution. I hope I don't have to move again for a long time but when I do I will be using Rock and always recommend them to my friends!

This is my take on things. The movers arrived promptly and worked diligently to load things, and were careful and meticulous during the process. I made a note at the start of the two items, that I cared about most mainly my two tall dressers, and my glass display case and the contents that were boxed and marked fragile and set to the side. They handled all of these items carefully.

I think they spent a bit too much time wrapping some of my old cheap shelves that probably didn't need to be wrapped, but I simply let them do their thing. Once everything was loaded I headed back to my house to meet them there. Once the movers arrived they were able to back up to nearby the house using the alternate path. They then unloaded promptly with some verbal cues from me as to the placement with no issues.

After unloading they nearly drove away part of the power cord to one of my lamps, but I caught them in time. I had mentioned at the start they were welcome to take those blankets that I provided since they were left over from the last move a year ago, but instead I ended up with even more since for whatever reason they didn't remove the blankets from most of the stuff unloaded which I somewhat question, but was too tired to care at the time. All in all they did a great overall job and was only $36 over my original moving quote. I would happily use them again. Thanks for making the move a smooth process Frank

From the first call to costumer service to the final boxes delivered to our new place, Rock's Moving was great. As a retired military family we've moved a dozen times over the years, and this was the first move where NOTHING was broken, lost, or damaged. Every employee had a good attitude, their work ethic was excellent, and the price was right. I've got nothing bad to say about Rock's.

I called them about a week in advance and they made time for me! They answered all my questions. 2 boys, brothers. one was Anthony I forget the other ones name. They arrived on time and we're very friendly. They packed and handled everything with care. The price was really reasonable and I will use them again.

Rock's Moving Company was superior in all aspects. The movers were personable and very hard working. They didn't break anything nor nick the walls. All the staff are completely professional and reliable. They did one small job for me and one complete move from our 2 Units Storage Pods (like a pod, but better) to our new place. They gained my trust to be honest. (The movers stole from us during my last move, so I was concerned at first.) I would hire them again, for sure. They are insured and bonded and complied with all the HOA rules. They ROCK!

Working with Rock's has been a pleasure from start to finish. The men, led by Walter, were courteous, efficient and helpful. Our last move from Texas with Texas Moving & Storage was a nightmare, to say the least. From Bryanne in the office to these three professional men, this was a Dream. Besides that they finished the job for $700 below their online estimate. Don't hesitate to hire them when you move.

Wow! I was under the gun and called Rock's at the last minute. I literally had a 1 hour window to get my junk removed as the house was sold and I had to catch a flight at Tampa airport. Not only did Rock's accommodate my time frame, he agreed to come a bit early to ensure I made the airport on time! The price was incredibly reasonable, junk was gone in 30 minutes and they even took time to sweep up the residual from the garage floor. If I ever require this type of service again, this is my company. Fast, professional, friendly, affordable.couldn't ask for more! Thanks guys!

Easy, friendly, and professional. I booked Rock's moving company a few weeks out of my anticipated moving date. Due to a run-in with COVID-19 in my house, we had to move the date back a little bit. They were able to reschedule with no problems. They showed up on time and quickly got to work. The 3 gentleman expeditiously cleared out my house and got it all loaded up. Nothing was broken or damaged during the move. Couldn't have asked for better service!

Walter and Brandon were amazing! Great guys, worked so fast and so carefully. Would recommend to anyone looking for professional guys who care about your possessions. Price was great, they were on time and super friendly and helpful. Awesome experience!

Rocks moving company showed up with 3 guys very nice and professional everything went quickly and smoothly finished in 3 hours very impressed with handling of furniture thanks for making this move less painful guys!

I guess that Rock's got all of their great reviews from local/short distance moves. My husband and I have made SEVERAL cross country moves - renting a truck and using services to help us load - and this was the worst move ever. Very few pieces of furniture made it unscathed. Almost every single piece of furniture was visibly scratched, dented, or scraped.

In addition to two large rolls of shrink wrap and two kinds of packing tape, I had provided forty packing blankets. (I should have been worried when I saw all of the leftover blankets.) Also, three out of five of our floor lamps were totally destroyed. I will say that nothing was missing. The one star is for Brianne in the office. Very professional, and helpful.

This was the best experience I've had moving. Dustin and the guys were amazing. So friendly and helpful. They came in and said my job is to make sure you do as little work as possible today. And that is exactly what they did. Everything was packed perfectly so nothing was damaged at all. They set everything up right where we wanted it. We were in our old home for many years and really didn't know how much we had so our estimate was way under what it should have been.

They used every single spot in that truck and packed it to perfection. The price was very reasonable. They were friendly and polite. I couldn't have asked for a better crew. I will tell everyone I know to use this service because it is amazing.

Just had a move about 20 mins up the road. Lots to haul, including some heavy pieces. Super professional and polite. Reasonably priced. Made it so easy loading and unloading. Very careful with our stuff. We couldn't recommend them any more highly.

This was the second time I have use Rock. They are incredible. They arrived on time, worked very diligently, were very careful and wrapped everything that was needed. I had them drop off items at 2 different locations before the final destination. There guys "Rock"

While I had gotten recommendations of Rocks from close friends I did not have a great experience. 1. They lost the bolts to my queen bed frame and said they were in one of the drawers - they were never found and i had to purchase new 2. My very favorite piece of metal artwork cannot be found anywhere and is not in my new home. ---Since FOUND by Rocks and returned to me. 3. My estimate was for $565, I ended up paying $795 - Although a lot more than the estimate it was explained that its just that - an estimate.

My easiest and most "glitch free" move (and I have moved a lot) was the one I did last month with Rock's Moving Company. From my first telephone conversation with Dylan in which he gave me a telephone quote instead of an in-person quote (due to the Covid restrictions at the time), everything seemed to proceed seamlessly. Because there were three movers, and I was moving from one elevator building In St. Pete to another, the move went swiftly, efficiently, and the movers were as careful as could be. The price was right, the job was completed with professionalism and I would use them again in a heartbeat. Strongly recommend!

We chose Rock's Moving based on a recommendation from Mel's parents', who used them for their business move and were very pleased with the results. We weren't disappointed, either. We got a three-man team to move the contents of a 2-bedroom apartment into our new house. They arrived promptly (actually ahead of schedule), were very friendly, courteous, and conscientious - for example, they pointed out points of slight wear or damage on furniture before moving anything to make sure I was aware of them before they did anything with them.

May seem like a minor thing but it said a lot about their customer service to me. Their rates are very reasonable, too - $169 per hour for the team. They finished the job in under 4 hours, which came in under our budget. All in all, a very low-stress experience, which is all you can ask for in a move!

I have moved only internationally over the past 25 years and so my standards are very high. When the "Rock's Team" arrives I was skeptical and nervous. This was only two days ago. I can honestly say that they exceeded all my expectations and the move was conducted professionally, calmly and with precision and the utmost of care. I would be happy to recommend Rock's to anyone making a move in Florida!

I honestly wish I could remember our movers' names so I could shout them out specifically. This was the first time I've ever used movers and they were great. Very fast and friendly and handled all of our stuff with care. They definitely made our move less stressful. My only critique is that I wish the person who scheduled me over the phone would have been a little more specific when asking about the items we had to move and been clearer on what to expect in terms of the process and how to make it as smooth as possible. Overall, though it was a great experience and everyone was kind and professional.

Rock's Moving Company surpassed my expectations. They were incredible from start to finish. My initial call was answered right away, and I was provided an estimate within a minute of conversation. They were flexible with scheduling and worked around what I needed and when within a few days' notice. They were excellent about communication leading up to my move.

They called ahead and were ahead of schedule. The movers were personable, friendly, and professional. They took extra care in protecting my furniture in both preparing the furniture for the move and loading the truck. They made moving a breeze, and I will always use Rock's going forward. As a Realtor, having a solid moving company to refer to clients is crucial. Rock's will be the company I always recommend.

These guys are great and take very good care of your belongings. I had the pleasure of having James and Leland do my move and I was very satisfied with the care thru took for my stuff and going the extra mile to pad items beyond what I'd done. They were very conscientious and aware of their surroundings so not to hit walls, corners, drop things abruptly and even got their opinion on where I should put a few rugs : Very pleasant, laid back guys who were easy to talk to. I give them an A+++ for the job they did- I was their second move of the day and they were busting their tales. Much respect for a not so easy job. Thanks guys!

Moving is always a stressful situation but Rock's Moving Co. made it easy from start to finish! Price was very fair. One of their best movers--named Matt and his very capable assistant George arrived on time and quickly got to work! They worked efficiently and carefully moved us from our 3500 sq ft home into a 2 bedroom apartment. Matt and George were respectful and very professional!

Thanks to you both again! I was happy to learn that Rock's does long distance moves within the state of FL. When we find our next home on the Atlantic side we are definitely going to use Rock's again.
