ABBA Moving was simply AMAZING from beginning (scheduling) to end (moving). Extremely pleasant to talk to, worked to be available on our requested date. The movers showed up on time with an extra mover (no additional charge). They were pleasant, fast, took great care of our belongings and our home. We were quoted for 4 hrs. and it took less than the minimum of 3, so our final cost was less than the original quote. I will definitely be using them again when we purchase a home and will HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who needs the services of a moving company.

I had a great experience with Abba. I called on a Wednesday and they were able to fit me in the following Monday. The 3 men who did the job were very friendly, efficient and fast. Price wound up being lower than quoted. I was happy with everyone from this company that I dealt with and I highly recommend.

Best moving experience ever! Moved me from a downtown high rise to a two story condo across town in less than two hours. They were professional and awesome even when there were struggles with the elevator. Everything was put in the house in perfect condition, they were so careful with everything and so so kind to everyone. I would recommend this service with full confidence to anyone I know.

My experience with Abba moving LLC was amazing from the start. When I spoke to the young lady about my quote, she was very nice and informative. From that one conversation I decided to go with their company and I could not be happier. I moved on August 28 and I was supposed to have three movers but they sent four due to one of them being injured. My movers were Wayne, Kirk, Maurice and Nate they arrived on time and worked very fast to move all of my furniture from one apartment to another. They made the moving process fun and had us laughing the whole time. I will definitely be using this company in the future.

Abba did a great job with our out-of- state move. The staff member that helped us plan the move was wonderful- helping us with details we hadn't considered. The moving crew took great care with our belongings and without exception were friendly, polite and caring. They made a stressful time much less so. We had a great experience with our movers Kirk, Wayne, Donald and Chris - they were punctual, efficient and very careful! They moved everything with ease on a very hot day and got it done much faster than expected! Couldn't have asked for better service or a better crew!

The worst moving experience of my life. Took them over 10 hours to move me into a two bedroom apartment. Scratched up furniture, broke items & stripped nuts/ bolts during reassembly. Leaving most items unassembled and taped or boxed up. The lead mover even threatened and did leave unfinished because I asked if the bolts on my bed were being stripped, as I could hear the drill stripping them.

Then attempted to charge double what was quoted, charging me extra for an additional mover I didn't request and for unnecessarily used tape. They literally wrapped tape around a mattress and taped up sofa pillows and charged me an additional $165 for packing supplies used. But somehow managed to scratch up my entire dinette, chairs included. Giving them 1 star is being generous; there is nothing professional about them.

Our crew from Abba was fabulous! My girlfriend and I needed them to move our two separate apartments into one and they did that in the time window they'd estimated for us. They were on time and quicker than I had anticipated getting stuff safely from a third floor walk up with steep stairs. They wrapped our furniture more securely than I ever have moving it myself and showed a sense of humor and generous spirit when they had to end up parking the moving van in my back alley, due to parking on the main street. Would definitely recommend these folks for your next move!

Credit card fraud started the day after I paid my bill by that card. May be a coincidence but I would not use a credit card with this company or definitely check carefully your next credit card statement. I have advised my credit company. Right after I told the men I could not buy them pizza because I was not familiar with the area, I gave them my credit card for the move. $47 and then $23 worth of pizza was then placed fraudulently on my card, notice keeping the amount under $50they did not have to sign for it or show identification.

I reported Mr Lior to the BBB for padding my bill. He lied unbelievably on his response. Do not talk to this man unless you have a witness. In fact, do not talk at all, do everything in writing. The crew was dishonest too. If you cannot have at least one or two witnesses with you the day of the move to keep an eye on the men do not let them in. If they do anything that concerns you ask them to leave and do not sign anything.

Call the police if you have to to get them to leave. Reported Mr Lior to the Better Business Bureau. He of course lied to them. But he refused mediation because he knows he is in the wrong. He doesn't care because he probably told his men to pad the bill. He specifically takes advantage of women. I am a senior and disabled, easy prey. He refused to cooperate with the Consumer Protection Agency because he knows he is in the wrong.

He knows I have pictures of the trash that was packed and labeled fragile. He is not at all concerned about consumer complaints because he will just threaten you if you complain. Do not be intimidated go on line and file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Other consumers should be protected from this kind of treatment. Hopefully someone with more resources will take him to court. I am also hopeful the police can confirm their credit card fraud and I will press charges.

This was SUCH a better moving experience than with the movers I used a few years ago. Wayne was the team leader and he was helpful, attentive, and went out of his way to show me broken or loose items (and even to help straighten my new house railing). The rest of the guys were great to work with, too. One old chair arm is broken but it was wobbly, a few dishes (my faulty packing), and they had to change time from 12 to almost 2 but that worked for us since we had plenty to do! Their quote was right on target. I'd definitely use again. Thumbs up!

Abba required two trips to complete my move from an apartment into a house. A neighbor who had been watching the process stated that movers were loading the truck "loosely, " and could've fit more stuff in the truck and would have only needed one trip. This lie resulted in a higher payment as they charge extra for multiple trips. Furniture was squished through door frames, tearing off frame moldings and refusing to replace them.

Other items were carelessly handled, bumping and rubbing against walls of the new home, resulting in scratches and markings on the walls. Boxes marked fragile and "this way up" were poorly handled and the special markings were ignored; boxes specifically marked for one room were left in others (e.g; bedroom boxes left in kitchen). I am a member of a household that used Abba Moving in December 2013. My name would not be on any contracts with Abba Moving because, again, I was only a member of the household and not the head of the household. The fact that Lori D. feels the need to use all CAPS to shout her disapproval of my review and even threatens my review should say enough about this business. Extremely unprofessional.

Our needs were simple, but very important - we needed a crew to 1) wrap a few pieces of furniture, 2) make an inventory and 3) load a 20' container for export. Everything went very smoothly and in a timely manner. The "icing on the cake" was the following email from our customer: "A shout out to Abba Moving for the excellent loading job done by 3 of your men, loading our Israel-bound container.

These workers were extremely polite, respectful, kind and accommodating and made what could have been a stressful day into a worry-free experience." Thank you to Lior and his crew for doing such a great job.

Abba Moving was great to work with. They stuck with us when our dates and times for settlement kept changing, which caused us to have to keep calling to reschedule the movers. I was worried that we had too much stuff for the truck, but they packed it up with room to spare. They stored our stuff overnight and then arrived early on delivery day to get us unpacked earlier than scheduled.

The workers were courteous and friendly and when they saw how much junk the previous homeowner left in our new house, they offered to haul it away at a price that was much better than other companies who do that kind of thing for a living. I have no plans to ever move again, but if I do, Abba will be the first company I call.

Didn't get past the first phone call. Staff was not helpful and borderline rude. Went with other movers recommended Yelp.

We checked out a few moving companies for our office before choosing Abba. On moving day they came right on time. The crew was curtious and very accommodating. I'm only giving a 4 because we did have a small issue. The issue was resolved to my satisfaction. I would absolutely use them again. The price was great, the move was smooth. Thanks

Called to get a quote today. Person who answered phone laughed at me because I didn't meet the minimum. Seriously? When I'm moving a bunch of stuff that meet the minimum, I sure know who not to call

I just moved using these guys this past weekend and they were absolutely the best part of our move. We hemmed and hawed between moving companies and ended up choosing Abba. (My husband "had a good feeling") They were top notch with communication: following up, answering all my questions and concerns, spending more time than probably necessary on the phone with me going over our inventory, and confirming everything.

Day of, we were given a 9-930 arrival window. They didn't show up til 950 but the apartment IS downtown and there was a big accident on 83, so who knows what contributed to their lateness. It didn't really matter though, within 10min of being at the apartment they already had items in the truck. These 3 guys were quick, efficient, and careful with our belongings. Did I mention we moved out of a walk up? 57 steps, each way.

Not one complaint during the entire move. Completely polite and professional the entire time. They arrived at the house and had the truck unpacked in an hour. These guys were like the most gentle tornado ever. They never stopped. Not one break. We had a case of water on hand for them, and let them have as much as they wanted, but they drank as they moved.

I asked them to place the items in one spot, then asked them to move to another. They smiled and assured me it was no problem at all. (Genuine smiles, too. Not like "Im smiling because I cant smack you" smiles) Again, completely polite and professional. In the end, the move ended up costing us $300+ LESS than what we were quoted, a direct result of these guys banging out this move like a bunch of animals.

I had a question about the final cost (moving brain confusion) and I emailed them thinking I would hear back from the office on Monday; Abba responded immediately. I hopefully wont be moving again anytime soon, but if I were, Abba would certainly know about it. 100% recommend Abba for your move.

I just used these guys to move from Sykesville to Towson and OH MY GOD! They are the best. They are efficient and organized and can move pretty much anything. Also? As you know. moving is stressful and these guys are funny, and nice, and a great to work with. I highly recommend them. I gave them a list of all my things, they gave me a quote and at the end of the day, what I paid was near enough to the quote that it was a non issue. Hire these guys. they really are worth it and they are good dudes. Deanna

These guys moved me twice. Once from Pikesville to Rockville, once within the Rockville area. Of all my stuff, they never broke a thing. They're hard workers and quiet, even on the hottest days, and give you extra guys at no extra charge if they think your move is beyond what they initially quoted you. They will charge you additional for moving materials (boxes and tape) on the day of. Also, be prepared for them to bang up your walls in your staircases. Overall though, I'd use them again. Especially since they're cheaper than a lot of other movers in the DC area.

We moved from Frederick to Germantown Md this week and called around to get estimates from several companies. Abba was by far the cheapest.usually I assume you get what you pay for, but based on the reviews here, and the fact they have an A+ BBA rating I booked them. The guys were awesome and very quick. Nothing in our house was damaged, they wrapped the furniture and moved it all safely. Needless to say we are very pleased with them and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Wow were these guys great, they showed up early and worked efficiently and hard all day long. They took extreme car of all of my furniture and valuables without them this would have been a horrendous day. Very professional, couldn't believe they only took 1 real break all day as it was very hot out. I would recommend them to anyone, they were tremendous.

I used Abba Moving for a short distance move within the same town and was not satisfied with their services. Most of my furniture ended up with dents and scratches despite the short distance they mere moved. They completely damaged my bookshelf ( I guess they had placed a much heavier item on top of my bookshelf in the truck). They would not offer any discount off the price despite the damage.

We had moved the same items from out of state earlier without any damage. I think most of the damage took place in the truck due to the careless manner in which the items were placed and transported. Of the three crew members, only two seemed to take their job seriously, the third guy was not very professional. We will not be using their services again.
