Our move with Conlon went extremely smoothly. They were punctual, organized, and very fast. Specific shoutout to Josh and Sam - they were awesome and relentless getting our treadmill down a super narrow staircase, even disassembling part of it halfway down the stairs to make it work. Way above and beyond.

I have used Conlon Moving twice for local moves and highly recommend them. Conlon's team -- Kevin, Bill and T.J. -- are professionals and handled our household items with extreme care. Let me start by saying that these gentlemen showed up at the exact time they said they would. There are not enough kind words to say how accommodating, patient, and friendly these gentlemen are.

We have a vintage china cabinet with fragile glass and a glass curio cabinet which was gently wrapped and secured for the move. Even when I would tell them it was okay to take a short-cut in packing some of the household items, they insisted on packing it "the right way." Even in the humid weather, these gentlemen kept it moving with a smile. Many thanks to Kevin, Bill, and T.J. & Conlon for doing a great job.

The move went great. My whole house was stored for about 18 months. They lost many boxes. I'm estimating almost a whole crate, tore my coach, broke a table. If you use them get insurance for sure. Not impressed.

Move went flawlessly. No damage to furniture or packed items. Pick-up was on time and delivery was as committed. Would use them again

Late delivery with no explanation. When delivery time was scheduled after late arrival to warehouse, movers were still 3 hours late to deliver to door.

Great family run business - from sales to office to crew, these people have an excellent work ethic. The crew was terrific and kept a sense of humor going while working hard and taking care of our belongings.

I usually hate moving but Conlon made it fun. Seriously. Anthony and Bobby not only worked super quickly (we did a local move so the rate was hourly) but they made us laugh the entire time and were really great company during a stressful situation. Might I also add that I made the moving appointment 3 DAYS IN ADVANCE. I cannot believe how accommodating they are.

On top of that, I told them we only had 6 large furniture items to move because I anticipated moving out every other small item ourselves to save money BUT ended up having about 60 smaller items for them to move and they did it without hesitation. We were so thrilled with our experience that we are definitely using them again in the future. HIGHLY recommend!

Great company for long distance moving. They are on time, professional and efficient. They deliver what they say they will. From original meeting to delivery of our furniture was a real good experience.

I have moved across country many, many times, and this was by far my best experience. I had to move quickly with little notice as the result of a flood and they handled everything in a completely fast, efficient and professional manner. The move was complicated with some stuff being moved across country, and other stuff being packed and stored with some additional stuff being delivered directly.

Everyone was amazing from the person who organized it to the packers and the driver (who was phenomenal, kept me informed and delivered stuff even faster than expected) to the financial person. Everyone was completely responsive. They really could not have been better. I don't think I could have handled such a stressful experience without all their help. I am really grateful for how helpful, efficient and professional everyone was. I will definitely use them again.

It's been just over a couple of years now since our move across the country. Unfortunately you start to notice things are missing long after your move. They created a check list for us but either left the items that they wanted to steal off the list or checked them off on delivery to try and show they were delivered. Communications with the driver were never returned. We will never use this company again or suggest it to anyone. I highly recommend moving yourself. Get people you trust.

RUN AWAY DO NOT WALK AWAY! The WORST long distance I have ever experienced. I moved from RI to FL at the end of June. It took an entire two weeks to receive my belongings at which point the 18 wheeler could not fit into the complex I moved. I warned the moving company in advance of this issue and still had to rectify it myself. I found the moving truck with Jose and Mike were sitting at Kohl's trying to figure out a solution.

I loaded Jose into my car to find a uhaul where they could rent a truck and transfer my belongings (which I was told was already supposed to have taken place in Clearwater prior to the 18 wheeler coming). After obtaining the Uhaul a full two hours later the first trip contained SOMEONE ELSES BELONGINGS. The second trip now five hours from start time had 1/2 of my belongings.

They were ALL broken, dinged, dented, and ruined. Every piece of furniture looked ruined. Every surface scratched. The second 1/2 was no better. the couches were ruined the TV's were not assembled. I purchased full replacement cost insurance and that has been a nightmare. Still after 4 months not resolved. My furniture is still ruined. RUN AWAY NOW!

From the beginning until this moment working with Conlon Moving and Storage, carriers for United, has been an absolute nightmare. Multiple estimates were given before a final estimate was finally provided. Items picked up at the point of origin were not wrapped before they were carried out of the house - we were told they would be wrapped before being placed into storage.

Delivery day arrived and someone else's items were on the delivery truck. When our items were delivered the furniture was gouged, broken and generally just beat up. An heirloom cedar chests' finish was destroyed. I paid $150. each for three television boxes when only two televisions were packed in boxes. I sent a 'concern letter' (Conlon's terminology) which received no response, no apology, NOTHING except a confirmation email to say the Claim Form will be forwarded for processing.

Claim processing has not been any better. A local company 'repaired' the furniture changing it's texture and coloring. The cedar chest is no longer the same color as well as the interior shelf was broken when returned. We continue to try and resolve these issues, as additional insurance was purchased, to no avail. I would NEVER recommend using Conlon Moving or United to anyone, ever.

Wonderful experience with Conlon. JoAnne is really on top of everything. Movers were punctual and very careful to wrap all of our things well. We moved 1000 miles away and everything made it in good shape. Conlon made our lives much easier. Would recommend them without hesitation.

My husband and I used them twice and their storage facilities. They were extremely friend, accommodating, and gave us a very competitive price. The people that moved us packed all our stuff, stored it for 9 months and when it was delivered only one item was broken, which we got insurance. So everything worked out. I would absolutely use them again!

This was my first time moving cross country (California to Mass) and I was worried. I heard the horror stories of things getting lost/broken and it taking forever. I was pleasantly surprised when nothing at all was lost or broken and my stuff arrived in two weeks. Also, my contact from Conlon (Barbara) was always ready to answer my questions and helped to keep me informed.

Admittedly, this review is a bit dated as we used United when moving a few years back, but as I was considering a new move, my one thought was NOT CONLON. Perhaps they have improved since, but I do not want to take that chance. Conlon handled the unpacking on this end - not good. They broke a leg on a tall dresser, but instead of telling us, just leaned it against the wall, placing the leg on top of the dresser.

They left a bed in pieces and the mattress still wrapped. Some other furniture was scratched and some items were broken - I understand this happens, but tell us. We had insurance.just be up front. The guys who were unloading were very unprofessional as well - I remember complaints about items we wanted put in the basement and them helping themselves to items in our house without asking. NOTE: We had a great experience with the United folks at the start (a different group), and when we had to make a claim for damages (like the broken leg), we had a decent experience with the main United folks too.
