We were so pleased with Shelene and Rain City Maids. Not only were they able to get us on the schedule quickly, they also accommodated our special requests for cleaning and are very reasonable priced. Our home was spotless, and a supervisor even stopped by to make sure we were happy. Rain City went above and beyond expectations! No need to look any further, we have found the only cleaning service we will ever use.

We have used Rain City Maids for over a year and are extremely satisfied with the work of all the ladies. Recently Miranda has been our regular cleaner and the house has been perfect. Rain City Maids is awesome. We have been using them for six months and have pleased with the work. Our house is always left looking and smelling very fresh. My wife's family owns a commercial janitorial company, so we have high standards and they consistently deliver. Megan is awesome, but we haven't had anyone come to the house who wasn't awesome.

Even when they are a little short handed someone always shows up to do the job. On top of all that, their online platform is easy to manage your account and upcoming bookings, tips, house stats, etc. they make it easy to do business with and I've recommended them to several friends and family already. A small army descended on my house and did a deep cleaning in three hours. They took direction well, were clear on what tasks were covered, and politely neglected to point out when I was hovering. (Not covered: windows unless previously requested, dishwashing, clothes washing, pet waste.) I booked online, they provided a quote up front, and further communication was done in email as I requested. (Other places have followed up by phone, in spite of my request for email communication.) Final price matched the quote, which was in line with my expectations for a deep cleaning.

I recommend asking them in advance how long the cleaning is expected to take and how many people will be working, if that matters to you - from what I could see, that information wasn't provided by default in their communication with me.

More than great! The best cleaning job I've had and they are the 3rd service I've used in the area. My go to was always a polly maid service in the area, they have done alright but I was never blown away like I was with this first cleaning with Rain City Maids. We have used one other service in the area for one time cleanings but I didn't want that other one to return.

With Rain City Maids I can hardly wait until they come back! The other service couldn't fit us into their schedule which was why I was looking for another place to help. I'm so glad the polly maid service was full, because I had this opportunity to find out how great Rain City Maids is! They arrived in the time frame they gave us, and they were all so friendly!

I think at one point I apologized for a dirty pan on the stove and they said "hey, it's alright, we are here to help and relieve some of your stress, just relax and don't worry about it." That was the nicest thing I'd heard in awhile!

Update: Ben from Rain City Maids had reached out to me and offered a resolution that was fair and I am happy with the outcome. They also left the $65 credit if I ever choose to give them another try in the future, which now I may consider. I appreciate when a company shows some integrity to make it right for their customers. Thank you Rain City Maids for taking the time to do that!

I am not one to write bad reviews. I am more of a "now I know, and won't go there again" type, but I am going to share my feedback to hopefully save some of you the disappointment. I hired Rain City Maids for a deep clean service in my less than 1000 sq. ft. apartment with one bathroom. This service was scheduled to be completed in 3-4 hours with 2 people.

They were scheduled to arrive anywhere from 8-9am. When I came up for lunch at 12pm, they were already gone. I had expected to be greeted by the smell and look of a "deep" cleaned apartment. Unfortunately, this was not the case. My apartment smelled just as it had when I left that morning. The floors had appeared to not have been mopped, there were pieces of stuff left in the kitchen sink, the shower seemed untouched, and the counters were still dirty.

I was upset. I had scheduled this cleaning because I had family coming into town to stay with us and am pregnant, no energy! Instead I found myself rushing on my lunch break to properly clean my apartment. As I did so, I was becoming more upset with the how much was left undone (see photos of cleaning right AFTER they had left). I called to let them know how unhappy I was with their services and was given a half way attempt to make it right.

They offered to come back out for an hour to "fix" what they missed, and I had a choice of two times. I told them that wouldn't work as I have family staying with us now and wouldn't want to inconvenience their stay, and I also had just cleaned everything. I asked if they could come at a later time and try again, they said no. My other option was to take a $65 credit toward a next service, which is an hour worth of cleaning time.

I asked then if I could schedule just and hour of cleaning, the answer was "no, there is a minimum of 2 hours when booking a service." So now I have to pay them another $65 to use that credit, for a service I was not happy with to begin with. I told them I did not feel the cleaning I received was worth $300 and asked if the credit could be greater since that is a lot of money spent on a poor execution of their services.

They said again "no" because $65 is the amount for the hour it would have taken for them to come and re-clean it at one of the two times they offered. It's unfortunate that this was my feedback, but I gave them the opportunity to make it right and was dissatisfied with that as well. I am out $300, had to clean it myself and now have to pay them again in the future in order to use the credit, which I think I may end up passing on and just call this a loss!

We hired them and they gave us a quote based on square feet. They brought gals they were training and went over the same places more than once and didn't clean others. After cleaning only 12/ of our house, they told us they would need to quote us more to do our entire house. I felt like they scammed us and didn't clean well at all! I do NOT recommend them to anyone, not worth the $.

I would give 5 stars, but find their rates high. I do realize that I have been spoiled by my previous cleaner who moved away. I have just had my first cleaning and hope that over time, I will feel the cost is justified and call it 5 stars. I am very pleased with the communication with the office, both in online and in person. The communication with the cleaning staff was great also. We were very pleasantly surprised with the detail of cleaning on our range hood. Every else was nicely done also.

Something temporary may become permanent! Since I broke my wrist I wasn't able to clean to my standards. My hubby took over for me and I was thankful for that, but I'm so enjoying having a thoroughly cleaned home that I may just keep this up even after I've recovered!

Came exactly on time, asked about what we expect from the cleaning (which rooms, what to be done, etc) and did a thorough job of the cleaning. No rush, just did it right. The house has no single unclean surface. just perfect

I've used Rain City Maids to clean my home for over 3 years, and I've always been very pleased with their work. They always show up on time, with very exceptions in over 3 years, and get right to work. They're very respectful of me while I work at home while they clean. The cleaners are focused and leave my place spotless.

The team was friendly and wearing mask properly. However the ladies were really slow at cleaning and by the end of two hours they have only cleaned 2 bathrooms, kitchen and 1 bedThe living room and 1.5 rooms were not done. If your team is not efficient I would suggest you to quote by numbers of rooms instead of by hours.

Have been very happy with the continuous on-time service and with Taryn, our cleaner. She's always smiling (I can tell, beneath her mask!) and is extremely efficient. I would highly recommend Rain City Maids to everyone, just don't steal Taryn away.

They've been cleaning our place for several years now, with Elizabeth and Mary doing a great job this past week. We've been happy with their service, especially how they've adjusted from pre-COVID to COVID. They've always shown up on time, followed any adjustments or specific instructions (i.e. don't vacuum a specific rug or focus on a certain room) we've needed, and communicated well.

We had Rain City Maids out yesterday and they were AWESOME! Symone was the reason I chose this service over all the others, even though they were a little pricier. She was responsive, easy to reach, listened carefully and was very professional. I trust her. And she sent great gals to my home. Shelly, Taryn, Alex and Mandy did better than I could have imagined.

They came all masked up, with their own tools ready to go! I'm still finding great surprises today! Mandy and Alex the chrome in the bathrooms are gleaming, every towel and washcloth is folded so neatly. I love it! Everything is so perfect, I don't want to touch anything or l might mess it up :)) I love the attention to detail that Shelly gave to vacuuming and dusting every item in my living and family room and she even fluffed all the couch pillows and neatly, perfectly, folded the couch blankets. Taryn Did a marvelous job on my kitchen cabinets, floors and counters.

She shined all the chrome and the stove top is perfect. I'm not sure which of this wonder gals did the job, but I'm thrilled about how well all the baseboard was cleaned. You have my ongoing business Rain City! Sandy

This company has gone above and beyond to make sure we feel comfortable during COVID. All cleaners wear masks and are quick and efficient while cleaning. Our favorite employee is Mandy, she is incredibly friendly and someone you feel good about having in your home! I look forward to our next cleaning!

Reliable, gets the job done 2+ years having monthly cleaning and an annual deep clean

This is a difficult review as I have been using RCM for the past 3 years without incident. First, let me start by saying that nearly all the people who have come to my house to work have been very good, friendly, and accommodating. The reason for this negative review is due to an experience I had with customer service in the office yesterday and again today.

After the pandemic began, I requested that they do not send a "trainee" along as I wanted to limit the number of people my family interacts with for obvious reasons after they sent an extra person right at the start of the quarantine. I was assured that it would be noted and taken care of. Yesterday during my monthly service, once again a trainee was sent.

I emailed the office to remind them of my request and their commitment and received a response telling me that they could not promise this would not happen again and understand if I wanted to stop doing business with them. Taken aback, I called the office today to clarify and was told that they noted the account, but claimed they never committed to not send a trainee and they were sorry to see me go. Wow, I guess they have quite a good revenue stream during Covid, so I canceled my service and am going with a competitor.

All this to say, if you do not care about being valued as a paying customer then the actual workers will do a good job cleaning your home. If you believe that if a business makes a commitment to you it should be honored and respected, then you will want to look elsewhere. **** To answer Ben's response, it is simply an untrue statement that I was in anyway informed that RCM would not commit to honoring my request; in fact, the exact opposite was told to me.

A company can post any canned legal statement about their Covid safety procedures, yet that does not excuse them from saying one thing to their clients, and then back-peddling on Yelp in an attempt to cover their unprofessional business decisions. I leave it to the reader to determine who is telling the actual facts in these posts. I had originally given two stars as I did like the actual cleaners, however, the owners response had me reduce to only 1 star.

I used this service for the first time yesterday as I thought my condo could use a professional cleaning. I clean every weekend but I do half ass it most of the time. The cleaning was wonderful and the customer service even better. I had Julie Smith clean my condo and she was very pleasant and understands that building relationships with her customers is what keeps them coming back. I've had many people clean my condo and they didn't bother to ask how I was doing or even say hello to my little dog gizmo but Julie went above and beyond. Not only is my condo feeling cozy and clean but I also made a new friend. Thank you Julie for caring about my home and your customers.

We had Rain City Maids do a deep cleaning of our space last week. The teak floors were beautiful after being cleaned. The bathrooms were spotless as was the kitchen. The cleaning was handled professionally and thoroughly. We enjoyed having the work done by Rain City Maids. We will continue having them clean for us.

After having several cleaning services, we. Decided to try Rain City Maids. They were more expensive then our former services, but from the web site sounded better and more professional. We booked a "deep cleaning" appointment and they did arrive on time. After they were finished and a Supervisor had reviewed the work in our home they all left to head to the next job.

Later that day, my wife and I started to notice somethings that were not moved when they were "dusting". And there was dust still there, like on the coffee table. Then we noticed floors were not cleaned or mats not moved to clean under them. Also needles from the real Christmas tree were still on the carpet. But the biggest issue was in the guest bathroom.

A towel bar was broken off, floor still dirty and No One mentioned the towel bar issue. Just left it next to the tub. We did advise Rain City of this via the web site, but the issue still stands. In my OPINION.go with a cheaper cleaning service, you will get the same equality job we got, but at half the cost. We will NOT have Rain. City Maids back.

I recently had my first cleaning with Rain City Maids. The customer service and attention to detail are far superior to other cleaning services I have used. For my first appointment my cleaner was very punctual. She took the time to discuss my needs and preferences before getting started. Her supervisor stopped by near the end of her cleaning to ensure I was happy with the service and I received a follow up call a couple days later to confirm I was satisfied. I would highly recommend Rain City Maids.

I have been using rain city maids for about a year now. When I first started service they were really helpful and answered all my questions. They always do an amazing job. They have been consistent and flexible, which I appreciate. They made is very easy to get on a regular schedule with the date and time that best fit my schedule. I am very particular how things get cleaned in my home and they have been open to those needs.

I have not been disappointed since I began using their cleaning services. They have e-mail reminders every week and then an extra follow up email reminder a couple days before, which also very helpful. If I have needed to call in for any change or request someone usually always answers or they are very quick at responding back. I haven't had any issues with any of the maids that come out.

It is usually the same person every time. Everyone has been trust worthy and I have never had any issues. I would completely recommend Rain City Maids if you were looking for a home cleaning service.

I am head over heels in love with the cleaning work done by Rain City Maids (thank you Yelp for helping me find this awesome cleaning company). From start to finish, the whole experience was incredible, especially since I've never hired a cleaner before. When my roommate moved out, I knew it was time to invest in some deep cleaning to get peace of mind that the room has been "refreshed, " and I cold comfortable walk into the bedroom and bathroom barefoot without being grossed out.

I love that you can check and uncheck items you want the cleaner to cover, with a real-time price update. My buying cycle was a little longer because I wasn't quite sure when my roommate would move out. Someone called me from Rain City Maids and was super helpful answering my questions. When it was time to book, the person on the other line walked me through everything.

I had questions about what's included, cost to add certain areas of the house, etc. and the employee was amazing at making me feel comfortable giving them my business. Prior to the cleaning, I got an email confirmation reminder, and the day of the service, I couldn't be home and arranged access. As soon as I walked in my condo when I got home, I could immediately tell a difference.

The whole home looked brand new, bright, and sparkly as if no one had lived there before. By the front, there was a deep cleaning checklist showing everything my cleaner, Victoria, went through in detail (ex. clean interior of appliances, stainless steel, wipe front of cabinets, scrub and sanitize bath tub, etc.). This cleaning checklist was so professional, and I loved reviewing all the hard work Victoria put in.

On the back, she left notes where some items were stained a certain way, but she worked as hard as she could to get it cleaner. I loved this attention to detail, and it really made me feel like they put in so much effort. I'll definitely work with this Seattle Eastside company again for my cleaning services. Thank you!
