Even if it was 3 years ago I still feel the pain we went through after hiring them, lot of our stuff was missing (many boxes never arrived) or broken the container they sent was too small and we were forced to hire a second one, the movers, a complete family that were coming every day from Tijuana, the worst kind of workers you can find. Warning stay away. Our stuff is still keep in captivity and had not been released. They invent invoices when your shipment arrives at the port. I prepaid everything before it left and they will not release document until I pay a invented bill. I reached out to a support group on Facebook that gives advice with these situations and I got so many responses about who this also happened too.
They don't have clarity about the invoice and I feel like they are blackmailing me to get my personal belongs. This is a SCAM. Don't risk your stuff being shipped with them. Pay a little more for better company. When I shipped my stuff they were so helpful and willing to do everything then when you stuff arrives they just disappear. Meanwhile they told me 8 weeks max for shipping it has been 13 weeks and I am sitting in an empty home with 3 kids. Worst company ever.

My shipment has arrived at Dynamic for a month and a half now, and still not even scheduled when it can be delivered! My agent has been chasing Karvi almost everyday and still no response. Winter is approaching in the east coast and we don't even have proper furnitures and gears because everything is stuck at Dynamic!

Dynamic LA is one of the most honest and reputable moving and shipping companies that I've ever used. Keefer was fantastic and quick helping my family during a difficult time and move a loved ones belongings from Mexico to LA and NYC. This company will not release my items because the 3rd party company won't pay their bill, everything that was agreed upon and written in the contract has been filled and paid but they are extorting me for more money which I won't stand for THIS AMERICA! Avoid, avoid, avoid. Like many other reviewers, I had a terrible experience with Dynamic LA. Not only did the lose some of my boxes, they misleadingly sold me an expensive invalid insurance policy. When I tried to resolve the matter with them, suddenly my emails were all conveniently sent to their junk inbox and multiple emails went unresponded to.
This is fraudulent behavior and I have reported it to the California Attorney General's office. At the end of the day, if you're going to the trouble of moving your household goods, you want someone you can trust and is reliable. Based on my experience (and others I've talked to, check the negative reviews - they're real!) Patrick and Keefer at Dynamic LA are neither trustworthy or reliable.

My wife and I relocated to Spain from San Francisco and had some personal stuff that needed to be shipped across the ocean. We did a thorough research on shipping companies and decided to go with Dynamic LA based mostly on Yelp reviews and the competitive quote we got from them. We couldn't be happier with the our decision! Keefer, Patrick, the rest of the Dynamic LA team, and the partner companies they work with in Europe for the final delivery, have all been extremely professional.
We were a bit worried at the beginning as we were already in Spain. We had to do everything remotely and couldn't supervise the pick up. Not a problem. Dynamic managed the entire process with great diligence. They scheduled the pick up date and time at the storage facility where we kept our stuff and showed up on time, picked everything up and sent us confirmation pictures.
After that, they kept us updated on the status of our shipment on a timely maner. They were always clear about the time estimates, even when our container was stopped in Long Beach for Customs inspection. They knew exactly how long would it take to clear the container, managed they entire process and made it supper easy for us. Once the container was cleared, they share with us the name of the vessel, so we could track the location in real time as it crossed the Atlantic Ocean.
Before the vessel arrived into Rotterdam, the partner company contacted us saying that they would take care of the final delivery to our home in Malaga, Spain. A week later of so, we got our stuff at home! Everything was in great condition. Long story short, we are very happy with the whole experience provided by Dynamic LA: They gave us the best quote, an accurate time estimate for the entire shipping and handled everything with great care. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dynamic LA to anyone.

Extremely slow. After the shipment arrived in L.A. at their warehouse, it took another month for them to deliver the shipment to Texas. Lack of communication and the slowest transportation in my whole life. My moving company overseas blamed this on your. And of course I will give them a negative review too! They promised us that the shipment will be delivered from China to our home in around 35 days but it took over 60 days eventually! Also some wood panels are broken! The company in China also blamed on you guys btw!

I requested an "All Risk" policy only to find out later I was sold a "total loss only" policy which I clearly did not request, as evidenced clearly in the insurance selection paperwork provided to me. If this was not an option, you should not have sold it to me and communicated that immediately.
This change was only communicated to me when I needed to file a claim and should have been communicated to me before my card was charged. 5 Stars company! Thank you for the professional and courteous service! Moving an entire family's belongings from Santa Cruz to Norway was easier than we ever expected it to be thanks to Dynamic L.A., Keefer and the entire company really did an amazing job throughout this process. Our shipment left inside a 40' ft. container and was unloaded in one piece, not a single item damaged. We would recommend their service to anyone moving overseas.

Dee, although I appreciate you writing something, it is largely inaccurate! First - I have contacted you several times - the most recent just the other day. I am sure Patrick can show you a slew of emails and if not, I sure can. Second - read the review again! IT was NOT all packed by me! This is ridiculous! And if it were you should not be selling that kind of policy without explaining to people.
Here is my text: "Except that the insurance doesn't cover anything packed by me - and the insurance company (WK Webster) is claiming that it was all packed by me. but it wasn't, only the dishes and the clothes were packed by me." So, not only were half the goods NOT packed by me, a large box of very important and valuable items (including a camera, which to a working photographer is a life line) is completely missing. YES, I have spoken to you about this. Third, and I can show you this email too, your company specifically told me the VESSEL my shipment was on, not just the container. The is hands down the most distressing, messed up experience I have ever had. TERRIBLE - and you people are doing nothing to mitigate it.

The overall price was bar none the best I received so I was skeptic at first, but these guys are excellent! The packers were nice, clean and quick. My 15 boxes and precious bicycles were properly packed and handled gently by the movers, as if it was their own. Communication with Keefer and later on with the team in Rotterdam was top notch and I got my items on times and with out any issues.
My shipment did stop for a US customs inspection which cost about $210.00 extra, this was the only bummer, but to their credit they did warn me it could be the case. These guys are excellent!

We recently moved abroad and used dynamic la's services to ship a container. After much research and worry about choosing a company, a colleague referred dynamic la to us and we are so happy we chose to work with them! The move went incredibly smoothly and the packers were professional, respectful and went above and beyond with a smile on their face the whole time. Kfir, our contact at dynamic was in touch with us throughout the day, and even stopped by our house to make sure everything was going smoothly. I can highly recommend the dynamic la team, they are not only professional but an absolute pleasure for work with.

Received our shipment from Switzerland today with the help of Clarence and Omar. Two great guys, very professional, efficient and courteous. Good communication from this company. Arrived on time. I just used this company in April 2019 to move from SF to Paris. DO NOT USE THEM! I paid for an extra $700 to ensure the goods but apparently that only covers goods IF the entire shipment is lost or stolen. First, the sister company charged me extra to deliver to Paris. That was never mentioned by Dynamic LA that that would happen in Paris. Second, my MacBook and GoPro were stolen in my goods. I now have to claim those items to my own insurance company.

I'm really happy with the service they provided me and recommend them to others. Their receiving company in France was also excellent, good communicator, and got our things released from customs quickly (I had a tight schedule before flying out of the country). Don't try to cut corners with online companies or out-of-state companies offering to subcontract the entire move to different movers, work directly with the source and it will be the best thing you can do when moving internationally! Relocating from L.A. to Singapore, my experience with Dynamic was unbelievable. I can say the moving process was smooth and there were no reasons for me to be worried at all. Fortunately the crew was very careful with my stuff, they wrapped and packed all into various size boxes, glasses, cups, plates and kitchen appliances were packed very well, so I didn't find a cracked item after the move.
Besides that, there were no hidden charges added to the price they provided me, so this company is really outstanding based on my experience and I'd even say it's the only moving company I would dare recommending to my friends.

My cousin Jules needed to move out of the country. I was tasked with finding her a moving company. We hired these guys to move all her stuff from Arkansas. Super communicative throughout the entire process. Wasn't the cheapest guy out there but you pay for worst case not pray for best case. There were a couple snafu's along the way but their ability to keep me informed, make things work and stay attentive throughout were worth every penny.
I had a feeling that the "other guy" wouldn't have even called me about the delay or worked me through the situation, meanwhile these guys were extremely helpful even with matters out of their control (weather stuff like that). Your paying for people to try and be perfect but when not to step up and get it handled pronto. Don't gamble with someone who doesn't answer the phone on a cross country move. my 2 cents.

Dynamic LA moved my house hold goods from LA to Australia. In short I would not use them again. The staff were helpful. When bidding the shipping I tried to understand how much extra charges would be above the quote. It was difficult to get a possible cost estimate from Keefer (the bidder) In the end it was 3x what their quote was. I do understand their quote stated port charges would be extra.
The packers. 2 were great. 1 was awful. keep telling us how he'd served in the military and hinted that we buy them vegetarian lunches and a tip at the end. Through the process I'd received several times an additional bill with the statement 'if you don't pay immediately you will insure additional charges', which was quite stressful. On the week of my delivery in Australia the entire team at Dynamic went to a conference and did not return any emails.
It resulted in delays and issues. I would think its reasonable of me to approach a professional shipping service company as a general customer & for them to provide me with a real world overview of what the total cost of shipping could be if the shipment is inspected.

I contracted with DynamicLA, on Aug. 24. 2017 to deliver my belongings(total of 9 boxes) to Germany. I paid the full price on 8/28/2017. 1. It is Nov. 26 and I have not received my shipments yet. My consignment was planned to leave LA on August 31, 2017, and the original estimate of delivery time was approx. 4-5 weeks. (They said it was delayed due to the customs process.) 2.
The moving company is currently holding my packages hostage. They are asking me to pay additional "a random customs charge"(their language) without any proper invoice. FYI, I paid the total moving cost upfront and then US customs inspection fee and UK customs processing fee already. [ Main Issues ] - DynamicLA has not informed me about "unexpected customs assessments and processing fees" and have requested additional charges under "Authority charges, Oversea expenses, Inspections." I was not informed about the information when I made a contract with them. - DynamicLA has provided me with inaccurate information about the shipping process at the time of the contract: the estimated delivery time, their shipping route, overseas delivery partners, the potential delay or Customs inspection fees. - DynamicLA has not provided me sufficient or timely information regarding the progress of my consignment. - DynamicLA has not specified the fees under "Authority charges, Oversea expenses, Inspections" and they asked me to pay a cost of "random customs charges" without a proper invoice or explanation. [ Timeline ] - Sept 8: I got an email that my consignments got "a random customs hold/inspection" at the U.S. port. - Sept 13: My consignment got released from the customs.
They charged me $66 for my portion and gave me the new ETA which was Oct.18. - Sept 29: DynamicLA sent me 2 documents regarding Customs clearance process. - Oct 17: It was a day before the initial ETA but they said it will go through the Customs clearance process and it would take 7-10 business days from the date. -Oct 19: The MoveCorp UK emailed me that my Customs clearance documents are missing, which was false alarm - Oct 20: DynamicLA confirmed they have the clearance documents from me. - Nov 2: I sent a Letter of Complaint to DynamicLA asking for the responsibility of their miscommunication and insufficient progress update that caused distress and inconvenient.
In addition, I asked a compensation regarding the delay - Nov 2: DynamicLA denied the fact that the shipment is being delayed and accused me of the wrong information. Made an excuse that they don't have any information to update me. No apologies at all. - Nov 9: MoveCorp UK charged me 554.62 as Duty&VAT resulting from the clearance process. Also absolutely disappointed with this company! Just like the previous reviewers have already mentioned - my stuff was also picked up in Los Angeles in mid-July and was supposed to be delivered to Germany. I have NOT been told that the container will dock in the UK and I had to pay nearly $1000 in UK VAT a few days ago even though I can import my household goods FREE OF CHARGE to Germany as a German citizen.
I would have NEVER shipped with these people if I had known that they will withhold crucial information. Oh, and I also had to pay some stupid US Customs inspection fee too. AND it's been 3 1/2 months already. Dynamic LA will NOT tell you anything, because once they have your stuff and it's stuck in US / UK customs you will have no choice but keep paying for stuff that you didn't expect having to pay for.
Use a reputable company like Kuhne & Nagel or Schumacher & Cargo instead. There is no such thing as cheap overseas shipping. I highly doubt that my things will arrive anytime soon. Stuck in the UK with no release date. Movecorp UK sucks and they're not telling me anything either. Additionally, when I made my initial payment, they requested my CC info via web form and guess what?

Can't believe that these people have the balls to comment on these other reviews that have been exactly like my own so far. They know very well that these fees will incur and how long it will take but they won't tell you because they are a dishonest company, trying to rip you off. LIARS.

Most likely we were also part of the same groupage as Stacey H. of the review of October 10, 2017. We have a horror story to tell. Part of it is the suspicious double Customs inspection reported by Stacey and another reviewer, additional money we paid, the total lack of communication and the worst nightmare of Dynamic + Movecorp. Our belongings left home in April and Keefer said that it would have taken two months to reach destination.
It took until Sep 8th to clear Customs in UK and then they could not find someone to ship to our address to Italy because Movecorp does not serve the area where we live (few miles from Naples)! Movecorp said that it was Dynamic's responsibility to select the correct forwarder. In the meantime we had to buy a lot of personal items because most of our stuff was in the shipment. Anyways, in order to speed-up delivery, we accept to receive the shipment with curbside service instead of door-to-door and Dynamic had the stone face to refund us $100 only.
On 10/11/17 we receive a pair of pallets with 15 crushed boxes! They did not crate our shipment, they stacked boxes clearly marked "Fragile" at the bottom of the stack and they crushed everything. Patrick told us that they are not responsible of the huge damage (thousands of dollars) because they did not pack the boxes. Duh! They did not crate them for a transhipment overseas.
He said that it would have costed more. They never told me that they would ship a groupage in pallets wrapped in transparent film otherwise I would have refused their service. The result is what you see in the pictures. NEVER trust this company! Read the negative reviews first! We are posting the pictures and we have all documentation to prove what we are saying.
Stay away from them and from Movecorp in UK! UPDATE: the accusation that I write false review is laughable and it is an additional proof that Dynamic LA are scoundrels. We are not scammers like these people and don't have time for this petty behavior. Rather, a company that has only 1 and 5 stars reviews is very questionable. Stay away from them!

It's January and Im told my good will be picked up early February for a mid-late March delivery. After my stuff is picked up I start to get emails asking for more money for the walking movers had to do from street up to my apartment door and back (like this didn't have to be done in the first place). I emailed Keefer and after talking back and forth I got this charged to be removed.
Early March and my goods haven't even left LA because of some "random" custom inspection which I was asked to pay on top of that. Also was told due to that there would be a 2 week delay in shipping so that leaves us in late March - April delivery. Mid March I am requesting information about our shipment and all we were told was that it was being delivered to another carried in the UK and then we are asked to pay AGAIN for ANOTHER "random custom inspection".
I emailed the UK carried to find out that our goods will be delivered to us in Spain "sometime in May". Absurd that my work equipment I will not be able to work with for 2 months over what I was expecting. I have emailed Dynamic and UK carrier since then asking for a partial refund since I did not get what I paid for and have hear NOTHING back. Even called and spoke to Patrick to have Keefer contact me and NOTHING has happened. Until I get a partial refund and explanation I will not be updating this review to a positive one and will do my best to review negatively in every site I can find.
