-- Update -- 2017 - Azar storage and moving were sold. I used them in 2017 and I do not recommend them any longer. ------- Azar was excellent. I overestimated my ability to pack up my house myself. So they were able to add an extra day at the last minute. No upcharges or hidden fees. Same hourly price. From start to finish everyone involved was super, professional, courteous, flexible, careful and nice.
They have years of experience. The estimator has been with Azar for over 30 years and the movers have been with Azar for years as well. I enjoyed working with them and recommend them without any reservation.

Our belongings were being moved by a gov agency subcontracting through Azar. Not only have they been rude and dismissive, but our shipment is now 3 days overdue and won't be delivered for at least 8 more days. We have an almost one year old who is going to spend his birthday at a crummy hotel while his presents are in storage. It is deplorable that Azar thinks it is fine for us to be without our belongings for 21 days.

We used Azar to move twice last year. During the first move our couch was damaged. The movers acknowledged they damaged the couch and we filed a form and Azar sent someone out to inspect the damage. We did not receive a response and moved again a few months later again using Azar because the actual movers who showed up were great. It is now almost a year later and they are refusing the pay out on a claim for our couch despite the fact that we purchased extra insurance through them. Would not recommend.

Aviod this company! They arrived around 8:40 when they gave me an estimated time of 8 to 9 am, which is perfectly acceptable. After thier arrival I did not have a pleasant expierence. The two movers were hard to understand and started bickering between each other right from the start. They smelt so bad that it stunk up the hallways of the storage facility.
I also had to get a pen from my car because they didn't have one that worked long enough to sign the papers. This made the entire expierence very unpleasant and akward, but it actually got worse. My couch couldn't fit into the storage unit which was bad judgement on my part, but the way they handled it couldn't have been more unprofessional. The mover called the manager and I spoke with him briefly on the phone.
I asked the manager if they could eithier donate or dispose of the couch (I wasn't too attached to the couch anyways) and send me an invoice for the services. That is not at all unreasonable and I told him said I had no problems paying. The manager was rude and sounded very angry that I didn't want to pay the $25 in cash immediately, without sending a bill then I could pay them.
I just didn't feel comfortable or confident giving those two movers $25 because there would be no formal record. He told me to hand back the phone to one of his employees and to have them leave the couch on the street. He hung up, but we called him back because I didn't have any other option at the time other than to drive to the nearest atm and pay them. Maybe this isn't a big deal to you, but I don't think I deserved to be treated like that. I don't think any manager should treat a customer like that.
