Apple Transfer

Contacted them for a job about this time last year, they were quick with an accurate quote, came on time, did their job, and got everything where it needed to be without damage. That's actually saying something since we had a headboard that needed to go down some awkward, tight positioning to go down a flight of stairs. Everyone was polite, efficient, and customer service to make last minute changes were done without hassle and without added stress. Really made our move (about 80 miles) easy. Will likely be asking them for help with the next move!

They were contracted to deliver my stiff at first on the 9th of July, they didn't show up for that date. The move was rescheduled for the 15th of July, again they were no call no show. It's now the 19th and I've yet to be contacted. I have a 3 month old without a crib, my wife is without equipment for her business, and we are without our bed. We have been sleeping on an air mattress since they failed to first deliver and my 3 month old is in a pack and play. Where is my stuff?

My experience with Apple transfer was amazing. From the first contact requesting a quote, Mike followed up with me immediately and gave me a quote half the price of another estimate. The communication was continuous for the month up to the move. Mike called the week before to check on closing, and then Dave called the day before to go over details.

The crew showed up early on moving day and worked tirelessly for 11 hours! They even worked around our 4 dogs! They were courteous, efficient and careful and constantly asked for our input if they had any questions. We moved 75 miles away on a very cold day in January and they never complained! Mike not only communicated with his crew during the day, but checked in with me 4 times during the process!

We have never used professional movers before and were a little skeptical, but Mike and the crew made it such a great experience. The follow up with the business office was again impeccable! We even paid less than the original quote because the crew worked so hard! Will use them if we ever move again and have been recommending to all our friends with up coming moves!

I have done two moves with Apple Transfer. Today was my third move with Apple Transfer. As usual, they were prompt and the move went extremely well. Jeff and Wes provided their normal outstanding service. Apple Transfer is the best!

I wouldn't recommend thIs company at all. Turn to the next offer, even if you think it is a good deal. They aren't efficient at all, and pick and choose times that they think are appropriate rather than listening to their customers' needs. I asked the company to show up at 11am promptly for a 1pm move in time that was scheduled with my complex, and they sent me a contract and a quote based on the time requested.

A few days later, they call me, complaining about access to the building, and told me they would arrive from 9-10am. I have used moving services in the past and knew my items wouldn't take more than 2 hours to move, so I persisted that my move in time would not be until 1pm, and the coordinator retorted, "the movers can use a lunch break." Lo and behold, they apparently want my fiance and I to pay for their employees' lunch break.

On top of that, they began calling me at 7:30am, and appeared before 9am to begin moving a one bedroom apartment.needless to say, they were finished well before 1pm (my scheduled move in time), and now want to charge us for a few extra hours of downtime! I have NEVER had such a terrible moving company in my life. While the movers were nice, management of this place is not up to par with the standards of customer service expected of them.

I will never be calling them again, and plan to file a complaint for manipulating our bill to fluff up their final payment. It is NOT our fault that they did not plan out moving appointments efficiently, and now we are supposedly stuck with a $650+ bill they refuse to change, even though they chose to ignore their customers wishes, and decided to take a risk that my scheduled move in time would not be REQUIRED and they could move in earlier than 1pm, which I repeatedly informed them of being scheduled with my apartment concierge. Barbaric treatment and the epitome of sexist for failing to listen to a woman.

Absolute garbage the people there horrible other than a few. I used to work there and they skim your paychecks. and have multiple lawsuits to show for it. They will end up loosing or stealing half of your things that they didn't damage and will give you an oh well at the end of the day.

Professional, friendly, succinct, amenable, speedy, patient, and just plain miracle workers. What more would you want or need in movers?

They hired our company to complete a contract that they had locally here in St Louis. Hired us at the last minute. I found out why! After starting the move I was contacted immediately by two other local movers that informed me that they did work for them as well and never got paid. We thought that the other movers were maybe just upset that they had lost the work, we were very wrong!

After getting them out of a bind last minute and doing an exceptional job for them for the local VA they proceeded to ignore our calls and never paid for the services rendered. BUYER BEWARE! If they do this to their vendors I can only imagine how they treat customers. They are very slick. They make you think everything is ok so that you finish the job and then totally leave you to the wolves.

They never even properly vetted our company before sending us out on their customers job to make sure that we were properly insured. This shows their total lack of professionalism and care about their customers. We do have all of the proper insurance including workman's comp but at no point did they ever ask or get certificates of insurance or even make sure we were properly licensed. They just wanted the job done so that they could get paid. Enough said. Avoid like the plague!

I have moved 9 times in the military and this was the worst experience I have ever had. They showed up on the wrong day and the dispatcher Dave was rude about it when we told him our paperwork showed a different day saying "that's not my problem." They didn't finish in one day like they said and didn't show up the next day when they were supposed to. I have 2 kids under the age of 3 and they were not sympathetic or helpful at all. DO NOT USE THEM!

It had been many, many years since I had moved and I was a bit apprehensive about the entire endeavor. First, I had to find a reputable and dependable moving company. And then I had to go through the actual packing and moving process. Luckily for me, I selected the absolutely best moving company! And, as a bonus, I really do prefer to support women owned businesses. A win-win all the way around.

First I would say using Apple Transfer for a local move was the best experience. I corresponded with Susan Walsh for my home to home local move in September and she personally did my estimate and informed me of what was needed. There were no hidden charges whatsoever which was refreshing. She gave an estimate time and when arriving the guys went to work.

They were professional with their approach to my furniture by wrapping the items neatly. They transferred my items to my new home, placed them where I needed without any problem. They reassembled my beds quickly and correctly. My family was happy with their professionalism. I would recommend Apple Transfer to any person or company that needs movers. Thanks again Susan.

Moved from California to Virginia with very little notice (about 3 weeks) for my husband's new job. Mike handled our move right away, provided his personal cell number and was very communicative. He was able to keep the estimate under our budget. Our drivers were very courteous and handled our things well (mostly boxes and one vehicle). They arrived a couple days later than expected but this wasn't a problem for us and there had been inclement weather in the area - the delay was well communicated by the drivers.

The drivers delivered our things directly to the door despite the very long, tricky driveway. Our things are in good condition and the drivers took their time with me to catalog the boxes upon arrival. Car was in good condition and the driver noted to me that the check engine lights had come on when he removed the vehicle from the truck (this was an existing problem so not at all their fault, and it was nice of them to note it to me). Estimate was accurate. All in all a very nice experience. I am mostly finished unpacking our things and so far nothing out of place or broken. Thank you!

I have used Apple Transfer 3 times for personal moves and just recently used them to move my business ( real estate brokerage) to a new office space. Hi highly recommend Apple to all my clients and agents that work for our company. Mike & his crews have always done a fantastic job for me. I only use Apple.

I worked with Apple Transfer to move from San Diego to Blacksburg. I had a great experience working with the people in this company. They were so supportive and on time. I really appreciate their kind support and help which made my transition very smooth. I specially thank Jane. She did everything in an amazing manner and was available for any help during this transition.

30 years in the military, this is by far the most amazing experience I have had with a moving company. Phenomenal, amazing, great company.

Apple Transfer IS a HORRIBLE company to have move your household goods. It is now a month later and they have yet to get back to me with a solution in regard to damages. I have contacted their company numerous times a week. I have been referred to between two different departments and both don't know what needs to be done with the claim and upon asking for to speak with the manager I received a flat out "no!" DONT USE THIS COMPANY TO MOVE YOU!

Loved moving with Apple! I received quotes from other companies but none took the time or energy to genuinely care about my moving needs, budget and time constraints. The move was the best I have ever had highly reccomend them.

In July of 2011 Apple moved our house into temp storage until our new house was ready. When it was the day of delivery, they never showed. Three days later, after the found our furniture because they "lost" it, we rec'd our house full of goods. After filing a claim over $10000.00 due to missing, damaged, destroyed items and fighting for over four months, we rec'd our settlement through their insurance company. However, Apple Transfer itself is responsible for paying out a $1000 deductible to us, which to this day May of 2012, almost a year later, we still have not received.

My husband calls 2-3 times a week inquiring about it and is always told to stop calling or that it has been mailed. It is about the principle of the situation at this point, not the money. There has not been one person that was friendly to us, helpful, or compassionate that most of our belongings were destroyed or missing. DO NOT USE this company if you do not have to. We should have known something was wrong when their packers told us they were late because they did not care about working due to their paychecks bouncing from their bank.
