John D Moving

It took them 7 hours to move my one bedroom apartment. When the last it took 3 1/2 hours less boxes. They stated that I had a lot of stuff. They were professional but very slow and I was not happy with the fact it cost me $657.00 to get moved today. The lady in my office complained they were very slow as well. I've used them prior to now this is why I used them again. Never again will I use them or refer to o them. I'm very displeased with this company today.

Everything was AMAZING - until I finished unpacking and realized a very valuable box of items are missing from my Friday 9/10/21 afternoon move. When I reported it the lady at first stated "I know my guys" but then retracted and said she doesn't work directly with them she is just the person who schedules the appointments. She went as far as to say "Well you should've been watching them closely." Ma'am I am paying you by the hour.

How am I to watch the movers every second when I too am helping unload inside while they are outside. She allegedly made a "note to the office" but I have not received any communication or response back this week. At the time The guys hounded me for extra tip money at the end when I originally tipped them $50 cash before they even unloaded a single item.

So I gave them literally the last bit of cash I had on had to attempt to satisfy. Needless to say they were still disgruntled. This has been the worst moving experience I've ever had and the disregard of my request to investigate further is disappointing at least.

We used John D. Moving Company today & to say that we were pleased is a huge understatement. Hector & his crew were punctual, careful, & hard working. They wrapped everything meticulously, & treated my mother's things respectfully. We were SUPER impressed & we want to shout it from the rooftops how happy we are with their services. Thank You Maria for helping in such a short notice, Osvaldo, & Juan were great, they were fast, had a cover for my mattress, the truck was fully equipped & with a ramp! Safe driver, they finished right at the 2 hrs. Great team! Also prices are very good, compared to all the other places I called Will definitely keep referring!

Another successful move with John D Moving! We needed 2 king sized beds switched from one upstairs bedroom to another upstairs bedroom across town. We also need an existing mattress removed for disposal. Lastly, we needed them to remount a television from the other home. It was back and forth and back again. The guys showed up on time, wearing masks, and ready to work.

They assembled the new bed very efficiently and quickly left to take the other bed to the other home. They removed the old, set up the newish one, & unmounted the television. I had the time for a quick shower and they were back again with the mount and television. Everything was done professionally and the way I'd do it (I'm picky). Believe me, I trust John D Moving with my most valuable possessions and they've definitely earned my trust over and over!

Today was the first time I used John D Moving. It was a small move and we were done in 2 hours. Luis and Fabian were very efficient, courteous and friendly. I will call on them again for future moves. Service: Storage

This company was an hour late. They broke my new washer that I've had for 8 months, broke my printer that was in a storage bin that was marked fragile, broke the entire bin (looks like it was dropped and didn't say anything good about it) it was completely broken. Also my sofa is leg us broken.and ive had it for 16 months. Then when they were done moving me out a 2/2 apartment 5 hours later they charged me 25 more per hour than what I was quoted twice.

After respectfully attempting to speak to the lady at the office who was very unprofessional and I insulting I needed up paying $200 more than I was supposed to pay. The guys I had the first time were awesome, but these guys ruined it. I've called and left messages, but if course no returned call!

I used this moving company over the weekend through umovefree.com. I received 2.5 hours free then I had to pay for 2 more hours. I was fine with that. We had some more things to move and I was willing to pay more. They only sent two movers and the truck wasn't big enough to hold all my furniture. I told them that we were moving from a 2 bedroom apartment and we had a garage full of furniture.

The workers got tired and didn't go back to get the remaining items. One of the guys didn't even try not to hit the walls or scratch things. Her just wanted to get things done. I've used a couple other movers in the past who were great and took great care of my furniture. I will definitely think twice about this for the next move.

John D movers are nothing but a bunch of thieves, they stole all my winter sweaters, they went through all of my personal business, looking for Memorabilia papers. they ramshack looking for Brian Cushion and Lamar Miller paperwork, My cousin gave those things as a gift for Christmas in 2018 to me, she also gave me and my grandaugher, the foot ball jerseys that they had signed, John D movers stole those also. they stole my gardening stuff, the gazebo for my back yard, They stole all of my fishing rods and reals. they also stole four pillows off my brand new love seat and sofa. the list go on and on, they went all through my file cabinets, digging and searching for stuff. i had had all of my paperwork neat and order, people know when someone have been rambling through there things.

They stole Trinidad and Tabago money, i had in a photo album for my grown son from his dad, They went through all my wardrobe boxes stole a lot of me and my granddaughters, cloths, they some low down dirty dogs, I didnt deserve that, I was nice to them and i paid them well and tipped them every day, I know I got a lot of stuff and nice stuff, but i know what I got.

That Luz Aguilera she is the one that answers the phone every time you call. When I ask to speak to the owner she tells me no I cant talk to him. Me and my granddaughter went out there to talk to the owner, he didnt say any thing, I asked him could he talk to the movers and ask them to please bring me and my granddaughter things back, I would even come out there and pick them up.

That was three weeks ago when i went out there, I want every one to know do not what ever you do hire John D Movers. They didnt come to move me they came to steal, disrespect my things, my heart is broke, some things they took is irreplaceable. family heirlooms, I am a senior citizen, I have been house keeping since 1974, thats why I had so much stuff, they violated my whole life and my family.

They will burn in hell one day, the whole company look shady.i saw that when i went out there. tell all your friends and family do not us them they are a bunch of crooks. I guess me and my granddaughter wasnt white enough. The whole company is Hispanic, they would not have done any white people like that, I wish I had of call three men movers, they respect you and they respect your stuff. I have used John D Moving on multiple occasions over the years. They are reasonably priced and the customer service is always great. They come prepared and work nonstop from the beginning to the end. Recently my movers were Hector & Javier and the done an exceptional job.

Top notch service. On time. No problems. Finished ahead of my projected schedule. Will definitely use again!

We moved last Tuesday and this was by far the worst moving experience. We had to wait for more than 6 hours for the movers to show up. None of the three was wearing any gloves or masks. They dropped one of the boxes and damaged my computer equipment in the process. Though they gave a discount, the job was really subpar. They stuffed most of our boxes in the garage instead of putting in the respective rooms. Do not recommend.

We loved using John D Moving, they made our moving process as easy as it could've been. We have used movers for every move we've had in Houston and these guys are by far the best. They were very kind, efficient, and hard working. They showed up on time, came prepared, and were very pleasant throughout the process. They wrapped all the furniture that needed to be wrapped, and assembled everything in the new place.

Our movers were Louise, Matt, and Louise and if we can we will definitely request them for the next move. We chose John D after several recommendations and are very glad we did!

This is the best moving company. I've used them twice and I have never had an issue. The movers are prompt and courteous. I've never had any damaged property, missing items or delays. Hector and Alex were my movers and the quality of work was exceptional and I'm thankful for service provided!

Amazing service at a low price. I asked multiple other movers and they were all expensive. John d living was cheap and they did a really good job. The 3 movers never took a break.

My husband found this company, and we chose based on price/decent reviews. We hired 3 men with one truck. We were given an arrival time of between 12 and 2 pm. They arrived around 1:15, and did not begin the rate clock until they were set up and ready to start moving. They were very efficient and professional. We had a lot of things to move, including 4 rooms of furniture along with washer/dryer.

They had all items loaded from our 3rd floor apartment in about 1 hr 45 min. With drive time and unloading, it took exactly 3 hours. We paid $330 plus tip! Exceptional rates and service, no damaged items, fast workers. Would recommend.

We were so happy with them that we used them for two moves. We also had them pack and unload a portable storage unit. They did an amazing job packing it completely full. They were very professional and careful with our belongings. We would definitely use them again.

First I want to say that the 2 men I had were awesome, friendly and on time. I got a call the day before to let me know when they will arrive and they were on time! Alex & Valdimir moved my items quickly and carefully especially since I moved to the 3rd floor. These guys meant business when they came got me in and out faster than I expected didn't take a *brake* at all might I add. but anywho I will choose them again on the next move!

John D. Has been working with my family for over 15 years. Every time someone moves they use John D. This month was my first experience with him, I had the greatest experience with his company. His workers cared about our belongings it didn't matter if it was small or big, nothing was damaged! They work fast & they were on time from point A to B. His workers are well mannered people. I think me and my family will continue to use him as long as he keeps his business open. 100!
