This company will steal your money do not use them, they send a contract out that they don't honor they lie and they don't answer the phone Matt ain't shit alot happened during my interactions with this company and my 70 year old mother inlaw still don't have her furniture I was trying to send to her. This company will give your furniture to companies they don't even know and when it's a problem it's on you not them. Please don't use this company if you want your stuff. They are terrible

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value This is a front for a rogue moving fraud organisation. In IL it does business as Moving Services Corp. In NJ and FL it calls itself Selective VanLines. These groups have been reported to law enforcement in NJ and CA - avoid!

Absolutely the worst. My binding agreement price was $2130. The local mover sent by AAM (a broker) demanded an extra $1400, and the second movers they sent demanded an extra $930, both for no legitimate reasons. Example--the first mover acknowledged that my household goods were 300 cubic feet, but they would take 500 cubic feet in his truck After that AAM stopped returning my calls. I have learned this is a common scam, especially now in southern California where so many people are leaving.

This company will steal your money and your time. Please choose another company if possible. They WILL quote you for the least amount of space only to have the movers come and double that on the spot! They hound in the beginning just so they can get your business the brokers leave you to your own demise. This has been the worst experience of my life. I BEG YOU! DO NOT USE THEM. THE PRICE YOU ARE QUOTED, WILL BE NOT THE SAME! DO NOT TRUST THEM OR GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!

We gave them an inventory of our items and they said it would cost $1700. They get here and tell us it will be $3500. Complete scam and will be contacting our lawyer to get our deposit back. Do not use this company!

If I could give them a zero I would. Lost and damage items and no compensation. Charged me $400 more after they got to my new home and would not unload until I paid them cash. Heavy damage to my VictorIan Furniture including a chipped marble top and hunks of wood broken off furniture. Also lost a heavily carved framed mirror that went to my victorian dresser.

But the most heartbreaking thing was, they lost the original framed artwork from a magazine that had my late husband's picture in it. The reason for the move was I had just lost my husband of 43 years. My heart was already shattered and American Movers only added to my grief. I tried for a year and a half to get some resolution but no one would answer the phone. Left messages and no return calls.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. If Darren (sales rep) helps you, be prepared to have the card you use for payment to be compromised. After calling management to let them know what happened, I was told" Darren makes a buttload of money, trust me he wouldn't do that." Absolute scam and worst service I've ever encountered. I've never been to Florida before, called this company to set up a moving date and within a few hours I have several charges on my card within 30 miles of their office.

This was our second move with All American Movers. Our first experience was good. We had a lot of our furniture in storage while we rented. When we moved in, three pieces of furniture were missing (two double beds and a large credenza). At that time, it was just an inconvenience --- I thought they would locate the items and schedule a delivery day.

We moved at the end of May and they still have not found our furniture. They do not return calls or voicemails. I called today (Thursday, July 1st) and was told that no one could help until after the 4th of July holiday. Please do not use this service.

So many better movers out there! This company does not honor reservations. They decided they weren't going to move me 4 days before my move date. The only option the guy gave me was to have them move me on a different day or 'find someone else' because they were too busy on that day now. Here's why it was an issue and why I felt it was handled poorly. 1.

I booked them a MONTH in advance of my move due to the fact that they didn't have availability sooner. I was moving from one apartment to another and I wasn't able to book until the LAST day of my lease in my current apartment. 2. He called on a Monday, the move was on Friday. In the message they wanted to see if I had flexibility to move a different date because they were really busy that Friday (maybe they overbooked?). 3.

When I called back to explain why I didn't have the flexibility and was fully dependent on their help - he changed to they aren't going to move me on my reservation date. So now, rather than it being a question of my flexibility, I was being told "too bad, we decided to not move you because we have larger clients". 4. I tried to appeal to him, explaining that I am a single woman, I had to be out by that date, don't have the man power or supplies to move myself.

He had no empathy. Said he'd call me back by the afternoon to see if they had anything they could do, and I never heard back. What I took from that is that they don't honor the reservations you make to move with them (no matter how far in advance), and they lack integrity as they will clearly bump you for larger clients without regard.

Please please people do not use them, I'm saving you a lot of time, money and heart ache.

I recommend All American movers. Spoke with Jon. Who was very nice. He said he would send an estimator to give a quote. Tom came out and did an estimate. Who was also very nice. They carefully packed, transported, all house hold items. It was a big move. 2 full trucks. The crew Henry, Jarett, Joe, Mario, Don. Showed up on time and handled everything.

It was a pleasure having them as our movers for the day. They even came in a little under the estimated quote. I recommend them and will continue to use them in the future. Great job All American movers.

Run away as fast as you can. They will steal oops I mean lose your property. They will scratch up your freshly painted walls and deny they did it while moving. They are extremely unethical, rude and lie.

I choose this company for my move from CA to VA. I had a an excellent sales rep. I thought. I gave measurements and descriptions of my items. I was then give a quote Also a time reference on when my things would arrive in VA When they came to load up my things. Everything changed. The quote went up over $1500. They said I had odd shape items. I had no such items.

They did not check my list. A week later I called to find out where my furniture was. I was treated rudely by a manager. I was notable to speak with my original contact. I found out that my furniture had not yet left CA That it could take up to 30 business days. I was not told this when I hires them. And they took my deposit. The manager then hung up on me. Safe yourself the aggravation DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY I will now notify the BBB

They say death, divorce and moving are the most stressful times in one's life. I can certainly attest to the moving. I contacted All American in mid January 2021 with a move date in two weeks time. JR (who took mycall) sent Henry out right away to take a look and provide a quote. Friendly, detailed oriented and described the move to the packing to the move the following day.

I had a great team with JR, Victor (Nacho) Don and Giovanni pack me up one day and load the truck the next. Everything arrived safely packed (from grandma's china to the antiques) and unloaded. Giovanni even hooked up my TV (tech challenged here) I'm still unpacking boxes 3 weeks later but All American made a very stressful time in my life SO.MUCH.EASIER. Thank you and would definately recommend (and a quote much less than other movers I contacted)

Not a very pleasant experience with this company. There are a lot nick-picking for money in the entire process, from loading through delivery. It's all in the details I understand, but it always happened as a surprise, and the extra cost is about 10+% of the quoted price after protest. Worst of all, there is no transparency in between when things happened. Calls were not answered, or placed on long hold, or transfer to a mailbox that's full, or promise to call back but did not happen.

All of those builds temper and frustration. These people finds the most effective way to build such feeling. I was not on the delivery end so I can't tell about the quality of the move regarding damaged/missing items. Hope it's not an issue.

WARING DONT' USE THIS COMPANY This was my worst nightmare. From my pick up to my deliverer that didn't happen. All American movers should be ashamed of themselves. They were supposed to notify me 24 to 48 hours before pick up. Sorry that didn't happen, it was the day of. I waited all day they never showed up. I had to call them for them to find out not coming 2 days later.

They pick my stuff up June 26th 2020. They have a 2-21 day window to deliver without weekends. This is the 24th day we waited. Today is August 5, 2020 still nothing. The said because of covid-19 there are no drivers available. The dispatch supervisor Alex Moore was very rude and nasty. So they will be returning our things back where they picked up at. I wish the owner of this company contact me. There is more but I'll be typing forever. However Christina customers service representatives was cool.

Scam - quote 3500 then come the day of moving and don't even tell us the bill is up to over 9000. I'm sure they were hoping to load up and keep our property as hostage for their price. Dishonest company. The carrier that came even said over half the contracts cancel the day they show and learn of the scam.

Excellent service. fast, courteous. professional. in fact they were too fast. make sure when you get their a team you are ready to go as they go fast. spent time asking how to arrange pieces and never rushed us. Joseph, Willie and Greg you guys were awesome!

The fucking worst company! They messed with the wrong people! They scammed influencers! That's the most stupid move you can do. Hope you close this company.

Like the vast majority of the other reviews here (which I did not check in advance) this move was a complete disaster. After 22 years in the military and dozens of interstate and international moves, this rates among the worst ever. The owner's son, Jack, went over the specifics of my 2 bedroom/2bathroom move and estimated about 4 hours ("5 hours max") for a local move 8 miles away.

I went with a 3 man crew to ensure the move would be done in a timely manner. The move took 8 hours (one employee stayed on truck with his phone "directing" for virtually the entire day) and was double the quoted estimate. Bad. Even worse were the broken marble top table, dresser, pictures, sofa (new) and numerous other items. DO NOT CONSIDER this company.

Like the other reviews, my move was a complete disaster. After 22 years in the military and dozens of local, state and international moves this is hands down the worst experience. The owner's son, Jack, went over contents of my 2-bedroom/2-bathroom (which included NO appliances, piano or other unusually large items) local move of roughly 8 miles.

He estimated it would take 4 hours with a 3 man crew or 5-6 hours with a 2 man crew. The move took DOUBLE the time quoted. Bad. But, the damaged furniture made a horrible move even worse. I called the company 4 times & finally reached Jack; I was told he would investigate the issues and have either his father, John, or himself call me back. I have not received any call despite the assurance. Do yourself a huge favor and AVOID this company -- All American Movers -- at any cost.

What a disappointment! I had these guys load my own 26ft truck and it took them the entire day, costing me $1000. I also gave them each a $50 tip and hooked them up with some really cool stuff that I couldn't take with me. It took longer and cost more than I thought it would, which is fine, I'm not a professional mover so I don't expect my estimate to be all that accurate.

The problem was that when I unloaded the truck ALL of my nicest antique furniture was damaged from the materials they wrapped them in. I called the owners and they said because I paid cash there was no insurance on my property and they wouldn't do anything to fix it. To be clear, I paid with cash to help them out as a small business. I was never told that it would release the company of their responsibility to handle my things with care.

I will never use this company again or recommend them to anybody. They are a joke. If you look at their YELP you'll see they only have 1 and 5 star reviews. I think all the 5 star reviews are fake.

Very arrogant workers, refused to take even boxes - stating too heavy when they were easily picked by two guys. Filled the truck with racks which would take minutes to dismantle. Took hour plus lunch - all chargeable. Wanted to walk with dirty shoes inside new house. Loud, Arrogant, non cooperative, left one exhausted dealing with them. Overall worst experience with this Mover - something changed as they were good couple of years back.

If you chose American movers please be prepared to lose some of your belongings! The men worked hard but in there haste to finish, I believe some items were left behind. We spent over $7000.00 on our move, yet the company did not feel the need to replace the misplaced items. The move will now cost $1500.00 more to replace the lost items. If you do decide to go with American Movers GET INSURANCE! John, the owner will not take responsibility for anything that's lost or missing!

They called when loading and said they were adding in 3000 to our quote which was between 4600 and 5400 and we had already put 1600 down so I expected to be around 8000 which seamed way high. They loaded and called for another payment of 6600 so I thought with that we were near the 8000 mark after he took the payment he said we still owed 4000 payable by cash or money order only. Putting us at an even 12000 for the move.

When we got it a week later than expected multiple items were broken. They told us they picked up 2 26 foot box trucks but the semi had only had 13 feet with our stuff in it and the bol said 1285 square feet which would've cost 5875 according to our contract. They were missing an expensive desk chair and called the warehouse someone had taken it and were using it at their desk.

The TVs were missing the power cords and screws for the feet. I understand trying to charge a little extra but by the contract based on cubic feet they are trying to bill me more than double is just crazy. I am going to make sure they get what's coming to them.

This was such an easy move thanks to JR the scheduler, Henry the estimator, and Victor and Javier drivers and movers! And the other 3 amazing men who helped do the packing up. Our last move was the move from hell with another company. All American gave us an estimate and stuck to it.they were on time for the pickup and drove 400 miles in one day so they could drop off the next morning on time! Javier and Victor were amazing! 4 bedrm 3 bath house by.themselves and got it done in 4.5 hrs.they hustled! I highly reccomend them and I'm pretty picky! Thanks All American Movers!

PLEASE PLEASE USE ANOTHER COMPANY. Really wish I could give them negative stars. Glad I am not the only person leaving a review who experienced the same dishonesty with this company. The agent who "helped" service my move, Erica, gave me completely false information about my move. She promised my belongings would arrive 2 days after pick up, gave me a price, and that this was a "pack to unpack" service.

None of this information was true. My price raised $1200 plus a $400 shuttle service, they said my move would take 7-21 days, and that I had to pack everything myself (which luckily I did). I ended up having to pay 25% to cancel and get them out of my house. Erica called the day after to check how my move went and my satisfaction, SHE HAD NO IDEA OF WHAT HAPPENED.

Do not use All American Movers unless you want to be price gouged! I was given a quote over the phone to move my 2-bedroom townhouse style apartment, less than 4 miles. I explained about the access at both the old and new place and that there were only 2 people living there. I was told it should take 4-6 hours and would cost me $650-700 for 3 guys.

If I had chosen 2 guys and it took longer, it would equal out to the same, so I opted for the 3-man crew. It took a total of 7 hours and 45 minutes (there was an hour lunch and two breaks that took about 40 min each). I was then billed double the quoted price! When I called to ask questions, I was told that I "might have had more stuff than normal, we all have more than we think" or that I "had a lot of items that needed to be un-assembled and reassembled".

When I called again a few days later to discuss, the man was rude, raised his voice at me and said he wouldn't be crediting anything back, his guys said it was a difficult move and I had a lot of stuff. Yet, when asked again what amount was normal for 2 people in a 2-bedroom apartment, he couldn't answer. I am a single mom on a budget and feel like I was taken advantage of.

I could understand being charged an extra $150/hour for hour or two over the quoted price but not double the quoted price. I didn't even have any beds that moved because I bought brand new ones and had them delivered to the new place. I only had a 3-piece sectional and my kitchen table that needed to be reassembled in the new place. There were two points of access at my new place and the movers chose the hardest one (but most direct) to bring up the heaviest items like the fridge and dressers.

I am extremely disappointed with this company. My friend who referred them, used them last year and was charged $800 for her 2,000 square foot 4-bedroom house (4 people's stuff) that moved only a couple miles. My previous move, with another moving company PDS, consisted of moving from a house to storage and then a month later moving from the storage unit to an apartment and I was charged $1300 for this.

Basically 2 moves. I mentioned the situation to PDS and even he asked, "how did that happen?". I will never use All American Movers again. I would never recommend them to anyone!

This was the third time I've used this company in the past year: storage, temp housing, and now to my "real" home. See prior review of August, 2017. Once again this company did a great job. The crew - Po, a seasoned veteran, and Xavier, a relative newbie - were both so polite and professional. Po is a human dynamo, and I loved the way he closely supervised Xavier making sure everything was done the right way.

I have several antique pieces and they took extra special care of the more delicate ones. This was not an easy move. I went from the South Bay to the Coachella Valley - a 3 1/2 hour drive in heavy traffic. When the last piece was unloaded the crew was just as cheery and polite as when the day started. Thank you, AAM!
