I have moved close to 20 times throughout my life. Working with Tyler, Lance, Joe, Ernie, & Fonzy was the best experience by far. They communicated with us before they came and the whole way through the process. Every single person on the team was polite, friendly, and made us feel extremely comfortable. They worked fast and efficiently, but also took great care to ensure everything will make it across the country safely. On top of being really good at what they do, they were nice guys that made our whole family (including the kids) feel at ease during a really stressful time.

Moving is very stressful and disorganized. If you need to look for a company that will help with coordinating and professional, the people at Atlas transfer and Storage are excellent. Traci McCormick is very accommodating to my schedule changes. She was always available and returned my calls and emails within a short time. The movers Hector Ortiz, Enrique, Chris, Angel and Oscar are also super accommodating, professional, polite and very respectful of my time and stress. I respect Hector's and his men work ethics. My money is well spent.

We moved out of a high rise condo in downtown San Diego. Having to use an elevator is more labor intensive and our crew Lakevion, Marcus, Kyle and two others handled it with ease. The crew was very friendly, very carefully and fast! They finished 1 1/2 hours early. There was no damage in our condo, to and from the hallways or in the elevator so we got our full move out deposit ($3,500.00) refunded.

I offered to buy lunch mid way through the day but they didn't accept the offer until the job was completed. Great team and company! Excellence comes at a price. I highly recommend you pay for it

Mike and Matt did a fantastic job delivering all of my furniture. They were extremely professional, working quickly and efficiently. Both could not have been nicer. They also called me twice earlier in the day to update me on when they would arrive. That kind of timely communication is always greatly appreciated I also liked how Mary Anne in the office took charge and actually got my stuff delivered a day earlier than originally projected. Overall, a very positive customer experience with a company I would heartily recommend!

Do not use them! We contracted with Atlas and their local partners for a move almost a month ago. We paid for a shuttle service we did not use. Been waiting 27 DAYS for a refund of over $1.7K. We chose Atlas and paid more because we expected GOOD service and fewer broken items. Extremely disappointed on both fronts! Will NOT use them again and we do not recommend them!

I just relocated from Palm Springs, CA to Woodbridge, VA, and Casey and his team did a phenomenal job packing up my things and transferring them to my storage facility. Everything arrived safe, sound, and undamaged. His teams were thorough and knew exactly what to do. Communication was superb, Casey called me and kept me informed throughout the process. Ed did my quote and it was very reasonable, Traci sent over my docs and was extremely responsive, and Casey and his teams were absolutely fantastic! They packed my large items safely and securely, and I was very pleased with the whole experience from start to finish. Awesome job everyone!

There was much trepidation associated with finding a company to support a cross-country move as everyone had horror stories but no recommendations. Oakley/Atlas had superior reviews online and the superlatives are justified. From the beginning, Traci was professional and responsive in coordinating the multiple parties. The packing team of Hector, Enrique and Angel were thorough such that everything was protected.

The loading team of Pete, Kai and Keoki (CA) as well as the unloading team of Elvis, Pedro, Gilbert, Devin, and Ramon (FL) completed everything efficiently. The driver, Chris, was involved and communicative throughout the process. All the teams showed up earlier than committed to, surfaces and doorways were protected, cleaning up as they went along, and everyone went above and beyond!

Some outsourced services provided a direct comparison such that it was obvious that everything under their direct control was handled very well. I know have a company that I will gladly recommend to others. Thank you to the team for a job well done!

During the first review, I stated this wasn't over. Atlas has still not honored their contract with us. Instead, they would rather pay attorney fees, to get me to go away and shut up, then refund the over charges. While doing research I found some information that could be useful to anyone planning on a long distance move. All moving companies have to operate under the Tariff N regulations. Tariff N-400 states that a company can only increase agreed upon costs (contract) transport during a peak period, which this was not. Also, they may increase costs no higher than 10% than stated on the contract.

In this case, the amount allowed for increase would be $863.10, not $4,125.31 which they overcharged. The cost to move is based on weight, our estimated weight did not increase, in fact it was less. Yet, Atlas continues to make me, the customer, the villain. To add insult to injury, they lost two large plastic totes of family albums, and have made little effort to find them.

Our deductible was $500, so it didn't cover it. However, can you put a price on a lifetime of photo memories. When looking at moving companies, look for information on them, through the Consumer Affairs, Department of Transportation, BBB, moving scam, my movingreviews, etc. We didn't do since Atlas/Allied had moved us in the past, during work moves. But, it appears that federal government is fine with gouging the customers, and don't pay attention if they are using someone else's money.

This review is not a reflection on the actual employees that handle and pack your goods. They were very professional. However, we can say the same of the management and owners of this company, their actions demonstrate they care little about their customers. During this time when many are moving from California, I hope this helps you make an informed, safe decision on who to trust with your possessions.

I needed to move items from a storage unit in CA across country to TN. After researching who is the best carrier for cross country moving (Allied is #1) I requested a quote and was put in contact with Traci McCormick at Atlas Transfer and storage. From our first contact Traci was very professional and prompt with her communications. She took my storage inventory list and produced a quote.

This was done many months before our actual move date. Traci would reach out to me on occasion to check in. I really appreciated this and it gave me 100% confidence in the company and their services. I contacted several other carriers in this same time frame and none of them seemed to care or even have time to answer questions. I was 100% set to use Atlas until I found a company in the city where my belongings were located. Had I not found that company I would have most certainly used Atlas even though they are located at the very Southern end of CA and my belongings were in far Northern CA. If you are fortunate enough to be able to access Atlas's services I am sure Traci will help ease your mind on moving.

Jerilyn and John and Terry from Allied made my moving experience a lot less stressful and more of a relaxing move. When your team makes people feel right we the customers are happy to acknowledge a number one team.

Hector Ortiz and his crew were amazing. They handled everything very quickly and were so nice, respectful, and patient with our moving day mess of boxes. Enrique had great expertise with packing and disassembly techniques and was very kind to share his knowledge with us. Angel seemed tireless, always carrying amazing amounts of boxes. Everything arrived in excellent condition for our big move from California to Illinois. I'd highly recommend Hector, Enrique, & Angel from Atlas Allied in Poway, CA any time.

Thank you so much! Relocation Consultant Traci McCormick was INCREDIBLE with handling all of my question and concerns and constant emails before the movers came. When my items arrived in Illinois there was only one item damaged (a broken leg on a dining room chair), which I consider to be a huge success! The truck arrived 1 day later than the window of time provided, but per our contract they will reimburse some of the payment due to the delay. They estimate the time to process both claims at 3-4 weeks. Thanks, Allied!

The guys (Tyler, David, Lewis, Lance and Joe) at Atlas helped me move from my apartment into my new condo. They were super fast, but careful you could tell they had lots of experience. The crew was close-knit and were fun to be around. They made the move a breeze and got me into my condo so much sooner than I expected! I would highly recommend them am so grateful for the great move. Awesome job guys!

What a wonderful experience moving with Atlas. I was very nervous as you never know what to expect. Traci helped me reassuring me that her company was very good at what they do. She was right. The driver Peter showed up at 8am and provided us such great service. It was obvious that he cared about what he was doing. wanted to make sure that we were happy, kept us in the loop re delivery schedule and had a good personality. First class from start to finish. I highly recommend this company if you have a move coming up. I am transitioning out of the military and moving halfway across the country. Mike and Matt were exceptionally professional and skilled and made light work of our 2 Bedroom house. They made the process simple to follow and took care of everything. If I was to move again I would not hesitate to use this company and heartily recommend them to you for your needs as well.

This is the second time I have used Allied and I was extremely happy with their service. Hector Ortiz and his crew came on time, put protection on the floors, handrails, and then quickly and efficiently move my boxes and furniture. They were very helpful in handling large clumsy items that I was unable to pack in cartons. Everything was handled very carefully.

In addition, the crating services that Allied provided were done quickly and efficiently early in the move out fir the large or very delicate items. My relocation specialist Alex and Jerilyn were also great and Alex's estimate we're within 10% of the final weight. The crew lead sent me photos of the inventory weight after the truck was loaded and weighed. All in all, I couldn't be more pleased with their service. This is an honest and highly competent moving company.

I was referred to Atlas and had the pleasure of working with Ashley Dunlap. I had previously worked with another company that turned out to be a brokerage and I didn't have a good feeling about them. Ashley came to my home, explained their process, and assured me that they handle the move from start to finish. I was kept apprised of all developments, delivery schedule, and they held my hand when I needed it.

The packers went above & beyond in helping me get everything ready to roll. Our driver Dennis was great too! He called me a few times from the road & gave me an update on arrival time & reassured me that my stuff was fine! The unload went smoothly too. This is one great moving company!

I selected North American Van Lines/Atlas Allied to do my move from California to Florida. My load crew of Cesar, Tony, and Alex did an amazing job of listening to my needs, being organized, safe, and efficient. They were able to load my 2 bedroom condo (plus an additional stop to my storage unit) in 4 hours. Never once did I worry about something breaking or where they were, as they treated my stuff like their own and kept hustling to get it done. Definitely will recommend them to my friends in CA when they are moving.

We used this professional moving company for the first time for our cross country move from Washington DC to San Diego, California. We are very happy about both the pick up and drop off teams. They are very professional and prompt. Both pick up and drop off were before 9am and they finished before noon for the drop off. Pick up took a little longer since they had to inventory and secure and wrap our furniture.

They laid down protective material on the floor and around doors and also had these sticky mats which would help remove excess dirt from shoes. They also were very aware of covid and used the necessary precautions to decrease possible spread. I would highly recommend this company. They really took the stress out of moving. Hector and angel were the men that helped unpack our stuff and they are great!

Big thanks to Kip D. For setting us up with the move and to Hector Ortiz and his moving crew Enrique, Chris, Joey and Angel were efficient, careful, professional and did an excellent job moving our 12,000+ pounds of stuff out of storage and into our new house. They had a sanitation table set up that they used, did a pre-move set up to guard doors and floors, showed up on time and emptied 9 crates in 3 hours setting everything in the rooms were we directed.

Nothing got broken and they organized the garage boxes as the put them in which more than just a drop off. Professional service, I highly recommend Allied and Hector's crew!

I was referred to Atlas Transfer & Storage Co via Allied.com and was connected with Rachel. Unfortunately Atlas was completely booked for our move date in September but if Rachel's customer service is any indication I can absolutely see why! Even though we couldn't move with Atlas, Rachel took the time to help me through understanding the moving industry, get a rough ball park for pricing, gave me excellent resources to reference to ensure our move was a smooth one, and made sure to look out for potential red flags when reviewing other moving companies as well.

If this is the level of customer service they provide when they CAN'T move you, I can only imagine what they can do for you if they can. I let Rachel know that should something change regarding our move date I would absolutely contact her immediately based on how well she helped us.

OK well I had previously given this place 5 stars because I thought the did a great job and deserved it. However I have since discovered that a bookcase was damaged at some point during the move and a fix was attempted (badly) in order to cover it up and I was not told that it had been damaged. Below are pictures showing the wood screws that were used to "fix" the bookcase.

I have now nicknamed it Frankenstein. Joking aside. I am disappointed in the lack of honesty shown by trying to fix it and not being forthcoming with an explanation of what happened. And Since I trusted this company with my goods, honesty plays a big part in how I now feel about how my move went. Other than that it was a good experience. And maybe downgrading them to 3 stars is a little harsh, But I woke this morning thinking about it so it must be really bugging me.

Hector Ortiz and his team delivered beyond my expectations. Spot on time management. Respectful yet an interaction with personality making the challenge of relocation a more palatable. Individuals working in harmony. gratifying. Most incredible is their care and attention to personal property. Preparation of the home was beyond expectation and appreciated.
