We Help U Move

As a Realtor, I hesitate recommending moving companies because they can be hit or miss. However, after personal experience with We Help You Move, I will recommend them to my clients. We Help You Move moved a heavy mattress from the main floor, over a second floor balcony outside and to a second floor bedroom without issues. After many moving companies refused the job, Nicholas at We Help You Move was up for the challenge!

He figured out a way to safely get it done, guided his men each step of the way and got the mattress to the second floor bedroom without damage and they were very professional to boot!

The crew was very professional and took great care with my items when moving from basement to storage. They wrapped everything! I was impressed by level of service I received.

The owner, Nicholas, came through with a crew with less than a week's notice on a holiday weekend. The workers were prompt, hardworking, friendly, responsible and efficient. Very fair prices. Highly recommend!

Perfect job packing, all of our stuff made it safely for the 800+ mile journey.

NEVER have I done business with such a horrible company. Our move with them led to anger, stress and many broken items. The owner over schedules, doesn't communicate with his staff (which creates mass confusion), and he makes promises he can't keep. Stay away if you want to stay sane through your move. (I see other reviews that are similar to my experience.

Not enough guys showing up; promised two trucks and only one showed up; promised second truck within two hours.that truck showed up late at night (after calls, texts, messages to Nick's FB page.when my realtor threatened to call the cops for theft of contents of my house, he miraculously showed up). Employees complained about what was in my house to be moved; broken antiques from the way they put them in the truck; carelessness: dropped my china cabinet resulting in a huge gouge and a hurt mover; someone dropped the basketball hoop ON OUR CAR and didn't tell us (that was a great surprise the next day); broken-to-smithereens kamado grill; clearly labeled boxes put anywhere they wanted; owner made guys work double shift - the poor guys were exhausted and hurting themselves.

Let me save you from what will likely be the most stressful event you've ever lived through. STAY FAR, FAR away from this con-artist and his sketchy business. I don't know how this guy sleeps at night.

There's a great deal to write about this company, but the bottom line is that at the end of the move I was pressured into writing a review. Once I had a chance to look around I found the damage to the walls, the fact that well marked boxes were put in totally random places throughout the house on three different levels, and I wound up cleaning out the refrigerator after they knocked over a drink that coated the entire interior. However, on the upside, one of the employees from the company did show up at Court for the criminal hearing regarding the fact that one of their employees is charged with having stolen items from the house, used a credit card he stole, and was caught on film using the credit card. All told, not a company I would recommend anyone trusting with their move.

Warning. Warning. Warning! Do not depend on this moving company. I would give them a negative 5 stars, if I could! I spoke with the owner, Nicholas, on Wednesday at 4:00 and he agreed to do a last minute move on Friday, 8/30. Sent the contract over that stated there would be 4 men and a truck, and they would arrive at the property between 1 - 2. They showed up 3 hours late with only 2 men.

The 2 men came in to the house and looked at what needed to be moved. They said they needed another man to help with the job. They left to go 'pick up' the other man, and never came back. The sellers were totally HOSED by this company! To top it off, I called and texted the owner, Nicholas, several times, and he never took my call or returned my message.

Totally unprofessional, unacceptable, and very.very unreliable! Do not use this company! I am a licensed realtor in Maryland, and will be sure to get the word out! The real name of the company should be: We Help-U-Move If we Want Too! Awful experience!

Hired this outfit based on my Realtor's (Dawn Long) recommendation. My daughter was moving and I wanted it to go smoothly. I couldn't be more pleased. True professionals. Careful, polite, reasonably priced, and very efficient. You will not find a better outfit to move your household effects. Don't bother shopping; just call Nicholas and his team.

We had Nicholas and his team move us twice, from our home to apartment and then from apartment to our new home. He put most furniture in his storage facility. He said in interview proces he " loved" being in the moving industry. I should have realized it would be a disastrous move when the movers forgot to pack several drawers, had taken all boxes back and put items in moving blankets with tape around it.

I could go on--- The final move November 2018 Broken items - 2 glass table lamps - 2 mirrored nightstands, 8 knobs broken off, 1 drawer cracked. - broken caning on dining chair - broken 25th anniversary vase - broken sculpture - broken cast iron bench - broke leg off vintage buffet. Movers took all broken items back to be repaired. We thought there would be some compensation for items that couldn't be repaired. Nicholas' response " we didn't pack those items" although they came out of his logo boxes. Still haven't gotten back anything. Have called several times. Don't be taken in by him.

Will definitely hire again whenever we need help. Nicholas, the owner, was very easy to work with and Steve and Anton, our moving crew, were incredible. Great additudes and willing to do anything we asked. They went to four different locations for pickup and dropoff working until the job was done. Thank you guys for the help!

STEER CLEAR. Let's start with the good. The crews that moved us were hard workers. They did their level best to get everything done. And the price was good. I guess you get what you pay for, because that's where it ends. The owner overbooks and overpromises, then makes excuses for why they can't do what he promised. He makes snap decisions without understanding the logistics and specifics of certain homes.

His crews showed up hours late (both in loading one house, and unloading at the other), forcing his men to work late into the night. Then the owner shows up without even an acknowledgement of their tardiness. No apology. He just walks in like everything's okay. The workers did not appear to be regular, full-time employees, and complained about the owner incessantly.

They put no protection on the floors, so we ended up spending hours after they left cleaning and touching up the floor paint. All of our boxes were clearly labeled with color-code stickers with the room names on them, and 1/3 of them still ended up in the wrong rooms. We ended up with several broken items, some of them antiques, one of them irreplaceable, since it was handmade by my deceased grandfather. They made moving the most stressful thing I have ever been through. Take my advice. Avoid them like the plague!

This Company is a joke. They misrepresent themselves and have done so for years. Their so called "Best Of Frederick" rating is an advertisement scheme. All you have to do is pay the advertising company and they are the only ones voting. I know because they offered it to me many times for my business. We Help U Moves picture on their web site is not even their building.

They work out of a parking lot with containers. Over the years there has been one horror story after another about damage and missing items with this bunch. STAY CLEAR OF THEM WITH YOUR GOODS!

These movers worked HARD! We moved on the hottest day of the year and they never complained, they were upbeat and polite the entire time. They got 25 years worth of stuff moved to our new home in one day and with absolutely no mishaps.
