RE:Chris's reply, Chris is a pathological liar, he made 3 visits to my home and we were very transparent with him in what we needed, thus why we had him conduct 3 visits. We even went with the storage unit that he was more comfortable and paid extra so it was easier for him! As stated in the last review we even disposed of many items included refrigerator, deep freezer, 2 sofa sets, bedroom sets and more accessories that were included in the original estimate.
Mr Wolfe also left a bedroom set in my home (that was damaged), desk, mattress and other items, that were also included in the estimate. Chris admits that there were only two people present on packing day but charges us for 3. Mr. Wolfe agreed to $4025 which I have written proof of. Also my father speaks fluent English, he is a professional with professional degree and owns multiple business in the surroundings areas. Mr. Wolfe harassed my father and kept asserting the fact that he's not originally from America.very poor actions by Mr. Wolfe.
Also upon further investigation in the state of Maryland, your movers cannot charge more than 25% of the estimate. I advise Mr. Wolfe to take ethic classes, life isn't about what works out best for you but what is fair to everyone. You can not scam innocent people. However, I still wish Mr. Wolfe the best of luck and hope he can overcome his unprofessionalism and lack of knowledge.

I needed to hoist a large couch over a deck to access the 2nd floor. I called a dozen moving companies and everyone said it couldn't be done. Chris and his team were the only game in town who said yes. They did it quick, clean, no damage, and no BS. Highly recommend for a unique job like I had. Service: Oversized-item moving

Words cannot describe my disappointment with Wolfe Moving Systems. The owner, Chris Wolfe, and I discussed my June move from a single family home to another single family home, apartment, or storage facility. I was very thorough with Mr. Wolfe about the transition, the amount of work, and the different furniture we had. Prior to the move, Mr. Wolfe made 3 visits to my home to ensure he knew everything that needed to be done and gave me a detailed estimate of $3230, including packing costs.
After Mr. Wolfe's visits, I got rid of some furniture to make the move easier, including two sofa sets, a bedroom set, and many other accessories around the house. On packing day, a team of 3 men worked for four hours. The team behaved incredibly unprofessionally. They took multiple extended breaks, one man even disappeared for the majority of the four hours and did very little work. Mr. Wolfe charged me for these breaks where no work was being done.
Another man repeatedly requested meals from my family. After packing day, I spoke to Mr. Wolfe because I was concerned that the cost of the move would exceed the estimate. I told Mr. Wolfe verbatim "I understand that it is an estimate and it may go above, but here's what I don't want: the cost to come to $5000+ when we are done." Mr. Wolfe replied that it would not, and guaranteed me multiple times that I should not worry about the cost.
He stated "Oh it won't be that much, I've been doing this for 30 years." On moving day, the team arrived at 8:15AM with two trucks and 5 men, as disclosed in the contract. Mr. Wolfe disregarded our previous agreement on organizing the truck by destination. Instead, he insisted his team load the truck with mixed items going to different places, and assured me that with his extensive experience of 30 years, the items will not get mixed up.
This did not happen. His team wrongfully delivered large items, including mattresses and heavy boxes, to the incorrect locations. Important boxes that were crucial to us went to storage instead of the apartment. Further, Mr. Wolfe's team did not move our bedroom set, desk, mattress, lamps, and other accessories. Mr. Wolfe claimed there was no space to fit them in either truck and left me with no resolution. (I ended up having to rent a truck and complete the move myself.) Mr. Wolfe's team also damaged some of our furniture from carelessness, including our leather sofa.
At the end of the day, Mr. Wolfe presented us with a $5,048.00 invoice. Despite our repeated conversations about the cost of the move and Mr. Wolfe's guarantees that it would not excessively exceed the estimate, that is exactly what happened. His invoice included furniture items that I had gotten rid of after his visits to my home and before the move.
The invoice also included items that Mr. Wolfe failed to move because "there was no room on the truck." After further discussions, Mr. Wolfe negotiated with us and agreed on a price of $4025.00. Mr. Wolfe amended the invoice, wrote "$4025" on it and circled it. I maintain this invoice in my records. We paid Mr. Wolfe in full on the spot. Mr. Wolfe accepted this payment and left.
The next day, Mr. Wolfe left a threatening voicemail on my phone, asserting that I owed him more money, despite his written negotiated price. Mr. Wolfe proceeded to cash the check in the following days. One week later, Mr. Wolfe continued to impose his cheap gimmicks on us and sent us an additional invoice. This invoice, beyond being miscalculated and incorrect, claims that Mr. Wolfe is owed an additional $1080, despite us paying the agreed negotiated price in full. Mr. Wolfe's threatening voicemails are saved and available as a warning for anyone thinking of hiring this company.
I would not recommend Wolfe Moving Systems to anyone. Choose well, be well, do not be a victim of this CON ARTIST. *Edit: MR. Wolfe just called me and cussed me out on the phone using derogatory language*

We had an unorganized move out with a crew who didn't want to work over a holiday. Chris oversaw the day 2 move in himself, directed the guys and even rebuilt some of our furniture. He acknowledged the first days errors and totally came to the table on day 2. This is what you want in customer service! A company that makes it right for you! Because of Chris himself and the excellent crew on day 2, I totally recommend Wolfe Moving!

I do not recommend using Wolfe Moving after my recent move. The guys worked hard and fast. I fed them and tipped them well. However they damaged one piece of furniture beyond repair. There were other pieces of furniture damaged as we have discovered during unpacking. In addition they lost two shelves and a hutch glass pane. The owner of the company has been slow to respond after two months. We still have no resolution on the damaged and missing items. Beware!

On 23 June 2017, Wolfe Moving System completed my local move. Approximately one week prior to completion of the move, Chris (the owner), conducted a walk-thru of my home and provided an estimate. The estimate provided was reasonable and competitive with the other quotes that I had received. The day of my move, the team arrived on time and worked quickly, but efficiently to complete my move.
Any issues or concerns that I had were immediately addressed by the team leader (Jermaine). Overall, my experience with Wolfe was positive. I would definitely use their services again, and I have already recommended them to a co-worker.

Wolfe's are fantastic! Such great personal service at a very reasonable price. They moved my daughter to Washington DC this morning and we were extremely pleased at how fast they finished the job, and with such ease!. They are nice, personable, and all around great folks to do business with! We highly recommend!

Do not use Wolfe Moving Systems. My 'simple' move which was just furniture and appliances turned into a nightmare. One of the three movers that showed up was sick and inexperienced (according to the owner) and not only caused extensive damage to appliances and furniture, but also damaged hardwood floors. The sick employee also caused the move to take about 1 1/2 times longer than the estimate, the owner made no reparations to make things right regarding this with me financially but admitted fault.
I was given a minimal settlement based on the weight of the items damaged, but was not nearly enough to cover the damages done. Especially frustrating was the damage to a refrigerator which would obviously not fit through the door, but was tried to be forced through anyways. I had to intervene and remove the doors for them. Point here is that you get what you pay for and you should look elsewhere for your moving needs.

A generous friend hired Wolfe to unpack our house after a fast move due to a medical emergency. My husband and I are both disabled, so we needed someone fit and strong to unpack boxes full of books (I'm an academic; I like big books and I cannot lie) and carry off the rubbish to the dumpster. RJ showed up early, and he was absolutely fantastic.
I got to sit on the couch with coffee, tell him where things needed to go, and he took care of it. Not only did he work hard, he was funny, personable, and made the whole experience of having a stranger empty out boxes of your stuff easy as pie. (It helped he was a Lord of the Rings and comics nerd and we are Lord of the Rings and comics nerds.) He was professional, easy going, and fantastic, just fantastic.
I have no idea how they are about moving stuff, but if they are as amazing at packing and transporting as RJ was at unpacking our stuff, don't hesitate at all to hire them, and ask for RJ if you can get him. His smile and his attitude made the whole experience amazing -- and if his boss is reading, give that man a raise!

I was very dissatisfied with my experience with this company. The movers who were delivering to 3 destinations were slow in packing the truck and not responsive to separating furniture for the different destinations. Three chairs were not delivered and almost a month later have not been delivered. I was told that they would be delivered on their next trip to DC. Phone calls are not returned. While the prices are OK wasn't worth doing business with this company.

Not much of a reviewer, but these guys need to be commended for their work. VERY hard workers. Moved out of my TH on a Thursday, stored my furniture overnight, and moved it into my new house Friday afternoon. Both instances, the guys were on time and went right to work. I literally had to force them to take a water break and grab something to eat.
These guys were professional and made my move that much easier. I did have Chris come out after I signed the contract to make sure we were all on the same page. He addressed my concerns and answered all my questions. I would use these guys again!

Everything went exceptionally well! My sons company movers could not accomodate him on the day he wanted to move. So with only 3 1/2 days notice Wolfe Moving Systems came through. Chris Wolfe was very helpful on the ph. and a pleasure to do business with. Steve & Mike showed up on time and didn't waste a minute getting right to work. They were both very friendly, hard working and made this move a breeze!
They were very careful in wrapping the big screen tv and glass top table. They secured everything in the truck before leaving. Only snag, the new parking lot in VA had just been paved and we could not get to the front door. The professionals that they are found a way to the back door, moved everything safely in to where it belonged and they were on their way. We couldn't have been more pleased and will definitely call them again!

They worked fast and hard, and drove quickly from one location to the next. However, they did some damage to our condo and our furniture when they ignored our advice not to move a large piece of furniture down a narrow hallway. We also never got the 3% cash payment discount they promised, but the overall rate was quite affordable. They also did a free pre-move inspection to help refine the quote before we even committed to using their company, which was nice.

Chris, handled his business very unprofessionally. Unfortunately, it seems as if he is a chronicle lier after he gave us 5 different excuses for why his employees were 2 1/2 hours late -- later we found out he over booked his team. They showed up after having worked 10 hours already and were exhausted. I later found out this is how he runs his business which is unethical and just straight wrong for both his employees and people he promises service to. Unfortunately, after a 6 hour move, mostly done by myself and my friends that I had to panically call for help the move from hell was finished -- it was a 5 mile move. I guess you get what you pay for -- I feel for the two gentleman on his team who moved us after a 10 hour day.
