Dave, you are awesome! I moved from the North Eastern US to Germany terrified that some of my sentimental items and general things would end up broken in an overseas move. Not only is everything in perfect condition, they wrapped it so immensely well that my husband and I can save the packing materials for our next move (whenever that is, haha). They packed my computer, which is an entirely glass case by the way, with ZERO issue and the case arrived here in Germany in perfect condition.
If that doesn't say something I don't know what else will. I had antiques and a papasan chair that all arrived in perfect condition as well! I literally cannot thank Dave and all those who worked with me in the move enough for all that they did. Literally, everything went so immensely smooth even despite me having to store my things for a year while we looked for a bigger place here in Germany that I simply cannot believe it.
Even despite me pestering poor Dave with numerous questions about the move and all that it involves, he was still incredibly patient and kind with my husband and I. He even helped me with all the paperwork and any other documentation I needed for it as well. I really cannot recommend Rainer enough to anyone looking to move overseas. Truly, thank you so much Dave and Rainer for moving my things safely to me in a new country where things are a little overwhelming for me. I really do appreciate it.

I moved half-way around the world at the end of 2021. It was a hard time to manage international shipping but Rainier was very responsive every step of the way. Their partners both packing in California and unpacking in Victoria were great. They were all respectful working in our home and worked hard. We shipped a whole house of stuff and all arrived safely except 4 plates, a vase and a 1 inch gash in a sofa.
The only reason I did not score them 5/5 was because the it all took longer and cost a little more than we had all planned. I don't think that was Rainier's fault, but it was a long process.

My move was flawless from the NY crew that came to pack my house to the crew that delivered my stuff in Israel. I must give a most special thank you to MARK LAWSON who put up with my very emotional meltdowns before my trip and after. You are the best person EVER! I used Rainier Overseas Movers Inc to move from Seattle, USA, to Cape Town, South Africa. David Wiviott, Relocation Manager and his team handled all the hassle regarding an international relocation(Insurance, Customs, etc.). The movers did excellent work, from packing in Seattle to unpacking in Cape Town. No damages/losses and no hidden costs. I highly recommend David Wiviott at Rainier Overseas Movers for his professionalism, knowledge, and being super-efficient. He is really good at this!

Moved from the US to Germany with RainerOS. I had very bad experiences before with moving internationally so prior to the move, I was worried. But David helped me along and handled everything professionally. In a nutshell: very good wrapping and packing, sticked to the price agreed and even made some port charges go away! It did take pretty long for the things to arrive but I guess this was COVID related. Overall highly recommend!

We moved from Albuquerque New Mexico to Melbourne Australia in November 2021. Mark and his team from Rainier and the local office, Apaca (New Mexico), were so courteous, patient, informative and gave us much needed peace of mind given that our move happened in such tumultuous global circumstances that directly impacted the shipping world. Mark was very clear on pricing, there were no surprises there, the movers in New Mexico were very dedicated and made sure that our things and precious belongings were safely packed and secured.
We were given updates throughout the entire journey and were offered lots of answers when we had questions. And I am happy (and grateful) to say that our things arrived on time and unscathed. I cannot recommend Mark and Rainier enough. We will definitely be using their services again if we ever move back to the US, I will not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

We had a completely hassle & problem free experience with Rainier Overseas Movers. They relocated our household possessions from Germany to Oregon, and I was a little nervous, having never done an international move before. During the estimate gathering process, Dave Wiviott provided the information we needed without any "used car salesman schmooziness".
He is competent & knowledgeable and made recommendations that in the end probably saved us a lot of out of pocket expenses due to the shipping slow down. He made it clear which forms we had to fill out & how, and gave us the information we needed to make informed choices about the options that we had. Their estimate was not the lowest, but it was on the less expensive side, and in retrospect, due to shipping conditions, was probably the best price. However, we hired them based on our impression of Dave's competence, not the price.
The movers that Rainier contracted on both ends of the move were also competent & professional. Also, despite the shipping mess at the time, our belongings arrived in a reasonable amount of time, earlier than we feared, considering the conditions. It was 100% a positive experience.

This is the second time I used Raineir for relocation (the previous time was 9 years ago). Mark was great and very professional in both times, making sure every part of the shipping (packing, transit to the movers facility, stacking in crates, stacking in a container, over seas shipping and movers in the new location) goes as well as possible. My personal belief is that a quality of a company or person is measured when things do not go as expected.
In my case, the movers who came to pick up our stuff did not come fully prepared. Mark made sure everything goes well, and was in constant contact with them until they stacked all the boxes at their location and put them in a container. He followed up and kept me posted on every stage and compensated me for the experience I had with the movers. Their prices seem to be reasonable. A company you can trust!

We have had nothing but a positive experience with Rainier Overseas Movers. Everyone I dealt with were very patient and thorough answering my many questions and walking me through all the paperwork. Every person from the office to the movers were not only professional and polite, but also friendly. The movers arrived on time. They were very respectful of our home and our belongings.
