Extremely happy with this company. Was referred by my realtor. The estimate was spot on so no additional charges : The driver, Carlos, was the best! Two different crews, one at departure and one at destination, were both careful, respectful and efficient. Would highly recommend!

Great experience all the way around. Office team was great to work with. Ryan, Mark, Angelo and Daniel were prompt, and really went above and beyond to make the pain of moving an ease. Really thankful for their hard work and care.

The crew was highly efficient, beginning with the packing. The packers arrived on a Wednesday and went to work quickly. As happens, they packed some things I wanted left out and they missed a few things at the end. Overall, the packers worked quickly and did a fantastic job. The movers arrived the next morning shortly after 8AM. They assessed the work and got to work. Unfortunately, I left at 10AM to go to the closing for my new home.

The movers completed while I was not at the home. The problem was that there were some items that I expected to be moved. So, I had to move those items myself. When I arrived at the new home, the unloading was about 70% complete. The crew worked quickly. What prevents this from being a 5 star review is that I subsequently discovered a few items that were damaged in the move. Nothing significant, but still some loss occurred which is inevitable.

Boerman Moving and Storage is professional and incredibly efficient. Trevor will map out your moving plans in great detail. The logistics coordination by Tanisha is head and shoulders above any customer service I have encountered. She is the best. The drivers and moving staff are incredibly efficient and professional as well. The communication is stellar. Contact Boerman Moving and Storage for your moving needs. Forget the rest. You will be satisfied with this great organization.

My significant other and I just moved from Seattle to Chicago a few weeks ago and we are so grateful to have had the best experience with Boerman. Our agent was Nick Ariano and he made the process of a cross-country move incredibly seamless. Nick gave us a very accurate (virtual) quote for both our apartment and our storage unit. He was very professional and very responsive and made himself available to answer all of our questions throughout the move. I highly recommend Boerman and a quality agent like Nick!

I have never ever worked with a company so disrespectful, untrustworthy, and outright dishonest as Boerman Moving and Storage! The move across the US was a disaster when Boerman management decided to move up the date the furniture was being delivered to the new house with just 36 hours' notice. When they announced this change, we were still only way across the US ourselves, and the painters and carpet layers were busy working in the house under the assumption they had 4 more days to complete their work. Boerman did not tell us they could change the move in date after it was agreed upon by both parties. Boerman now had to find a crew to unload the truck and unpack with only 36 hours' notice during the COVID labor shortage.

They couldn't find enough people and consequently they were here late into the night even with us doing much of the unloading and unpacking that we prepaid them to do. We ended up coming out of pocket for the painters and carpet layers disruption and extra labor and did a significant portion of the move-in ourselves due to the shortage of crew. Not only did Boerman not offer to compensate us in anyway, they later refused to pay on the insurance claim because the specific damage was not written down by them on the day of the move.

Another critical detail which we were not informed was a requirement either verbally or in writing until we submitted the claim. Boerman is totally untrustworthy on so many fronts!

They made our move stress free from the estimator, to the driver, to the crew, to the girl who was there to answer all our questions. Not one thing broke in the move. They kept their promises!

Would not recommend this company for a long distance move. They contracted with another moving company who was terrible and unreliable. So many boxes were smashed and unreliable vehicles and no communication. Please do your research before hiring this company for a long distance move. You've been warned

Working with Boerman Moving was an incredible experience. This was our first time using a moving company as well as making a long distance move - from Illinois to California. With so many moving parts to a long distance move, working with Boerman removed so much of that stress. We started by working with Ken Wolff, who was the consultant who came to our house to review what we'd be moving and reassured us how the packing, loading, and move would be handled. Ken was very friendly and professional as well as set perfect expectations for our experience.

He was involved all along the way checking in to confirm that everything was being handled to our satisfaction. The driver, Glenn, and the movers on each end of the trip were also exceptional. Several times throughout the experience, Glenn would stop and reassure me "we've got this." Glenn, as well, was very friendly and professional as were all movers on each end. Glenn was very much in control of the load and move and clearly as good as they come. I would hands down refer people to Boerman and will use them again for any move I make.

Ryan Darling and his crew came on time and were extremely professional. They explained the entire process to me and as they went along It was a great experience and would highly recommend them. I am also hoping they will be back to help finish my move. They made my deal a whole lot easier. Thanks!

Boerman is THE BEST! I highly recommend them! Our whole move was a breeze from start to finish. They provided a service and experience that everyone moving should have - absolutely excellent! They communicated thoroughly, handled our belongings with great care, and arrived promptly cross country. Our driver, Stacy, was timely, professional, and so nice!

Boerman Moving helped us move from our 3rd floor apartment to single family home. All 3 guys showed up on time and were very professional and caring of our belongings. They helped us tremendously with packing some items and getting them into position in our new home. You get what you pay for and they were worth every penny.

Boerman handled both our move out of the house to storage.as well as our move from storage to the new house. Alex, Jonathan, and Luis did an exceptional job. Always so careful and very courteous. Some good people there! Ken checked in with us before, during, and after the move. Furnishings were dismantled and reassembled, floors were protected, furnishings were well protected during moves and storage. the team was willing to do whatwver they could to help us out with this move and make sure we were satisfied. Excellent service!

We moved to a new home after over 30 years and it was a huge job. Ryan Darling and his team of 4 others were fantastic. They worked for almost 12 hours with very few breaks. We had many very heavy items which were moved well. They were all friendly polite and went the extra mile. Ryan was helpful when my husband fell and another employee put felt pads under our furniture without asking. Very highly recommended!

We had a terrible experience and are missing a lot. Our move was long distance with storage. Our items were loaded into wooden crates and the semi they were loaded into was left on the street for hours. When we requested delivery we were given a week span which is fine but once that week long span started they couldn't give us a date and lied. about where our belongings were.

We were told they were on a truck but they weren't. They were in the warehouse and the driver had someone load our things to a random truck and drove it the following day. There was a lot of issues with that as they called at 1pm on Tuesday and told us they would be delivering the following morning. I had to pull my kids from school and drive 8 hours to be told they were going to just come the following day after.

The driver and delivery guy were nice but I'm missing sooo many items. Cloths, backdrops, custom suits. Multiple wardrobes. 1 wardrobe that was delivered had a water stain a foot up the box ans many boxes were soggy. Our safe was water logged. What flooded and did you just throw out our stuff?

I am planning a local move at the end of this month. A representative from Boerman had reached out to my place of business recently to offer their services. I figured I'd give them a shot for my personal move and try them out. The initial appointment set up was a pleasant experience. I eagerly awaiting my in-home appointment. When the day came, no one showed up.

No one called to inform me of any changes. I called the office next day and gave them a second chance, this time a virtual same day quote. Again, we were not able to connect with anyone. So, don't waste your time with the moving company. I hired March Movers. I was given a quote immediately by speaking to the owner directly. My move is booked. Customer Service really matters.

Boerman's are 5 star movers. Affordable and clear communications the whole way. Highly recommend!

We had Ryan, Darius and two other guys today move us and let me just say WOW! They were efficient, thorough, so friendly and considerate! They went above and beyond and took extra effort to get a very large sectional through narrow doors by taking off the legs and doors! It was easy but were determined to make us happy! They even made sure to felt all of the bottoms of our furniture for our nice floors in the new house! Seriously, hire this company-they go above and beyond! Thank you for your hard work today!

We had a local move today with Ryan, Jonathan and Sergio. They were all polite, efficient and professional! They got our 2nd story loaded all during my kids' e learning with little to no disruption. Respect! I want to mention our moving coordinator Brenda Kidd was fantastic to work with as well. We will get a quote in the spring for our out of state move too. Thanks again guys!

They made the process really easy and the crew who came the day of was friendly, professional and very efficient.
