Bay Area Movers

I was told that I would get a phone call when the crew was on the way. But I did. My email said that they would be there between 8 and 9. I got a call at 830 tell me they were thee waiting. I told them I would be there I. 30 mins. I got there at 9. They told me I would get charged for a half hour for making them wait. So I told him well I guess there is nothing I can do about it but it was not fair because they were supposed to call me first.

Then once we made it to my home. I found that they packed my furniture in a box of trash. Yes real trash. Empty soda cans food wrappers and old packing paper. I asked the lead guy did he feel that was professional and fair to charge me after that happened. He just said I told them not to do that I'm sorry. And I asked again. Did you you think that you think this is fair.

He just replied that the crew was young and not experienced. So at the end of the day I was charged an extra 45 for sure maybe a hour. I just fell if you pay $600 to have someone move you for a few hours. You should be treated a lot better than I was.

Bay Area Movers are a class act, I was helping an elderly friend move and these guys sorted everything with me from a distance online including payment which just made everything so easy. They were flexible when I had to change the move date at short notice and worked with me to get the job done. Amazing communication throughout, friendly and good value for money. Excellent communication along the process. The team that came was quick and efficient and took great care of our household. They went the extra mile with disassembling and assembling a few difficult pieces for us and were careful to place all boxes and items where we wanted them so we weren't stuck moving everything around. I never heard one complaint, just cheerful pleasant conversation among the team. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bay Area Movers to anyone.

Friendly, personable movers! We had a special situation, supervising a move for someone else, but they seemed to make good time unloading a 3rd floor apartment into a storage facility. I wasn't there while they moved everything into the storage facility, but I went there after and it looked pretty organized. Overall, very satisfied!

They canceled the job on moving day with no call or explanation and did not follow up to give any explanations. The items for them to move were ready to go. It created a terrible inconvenience. Extremely unprofessional behavior.

The team was excellent! They did everything I asked and then some. I was very grateful for their help and expertise. The guys worked hard all day. We even had to move almost 4 hours away. It was a late night for them but they were very polite and professional the whole time. Highly recommend!

The original day of the move it poured, these guess were nice enough to reschedule.my move was not standard furniture, mostly garage and tool stuff, I was fearful to have this company! Very professional!

They showed up on time, had me packed up in two hours and another 90 minutes to get loaded. Had me moved and everything into storage at my new storage place two hours away by 330pm. When I was looking for movers, they came in all shapes and sizes. The big companies were super expensive, and the ones that you hear about from your cousin's best friend's roommate are super cheap, but seem sketchy. Bay Area Movers fits somewhere right in the middle. They are reasonably priced, but were very professional. I recommend Freddie and his crew, as they came with good attitudes, lots of energy, very polite, strong, and super efficient.

Beware. We had an ok experience overall to begin with, where happy enough with the service, even gave them a tip until about a day or so after when I realized a couple of important and very sentimental items of my JEWELRY we're gone! Nothing I can do without proof and I am sure not all movers are dishonest, but one of them was, and left me in tears.

In the move they only broke one decorative item but it had not much value, but after about a week I started seeing nicks on various furniture items. I could never recommend them after this.

I cannot say enough great things about our move with Bay Area Movers. These guys showed up on time, with smiles on their faces and got to work. They were kind and thoughtful, as well as professional and very careful with our belongings. They were efficient in packing, loading and unloading. Bay Area Movers far exceeded my expectations.
