Clear Lake Movers

I moved on 6/11/2022. This is the second move in less than a year that I have used Clearlake movers. I can confidently say that this is one of the best experiences I've had with a service company in the past two years. Local companies just know how to do customer service right. With the pandemic so many companies, big and small, have cut back on staff and their quality of service has just gone down the tubes. Not this company! They are helpful, respectful of your space and belongs, and efficient! I highly recommend using them for any local moves. It was worth every penny!

The office staff at Clear Lake Movers were very kind and helpful. They answered all my questions quickly and clearly. The team they sent out to move us were prompt, professional, and fast! These guys did not drag their feet and took great care of all our belongings including several antique furniture pieces. Their prices are very fair and I would definitely use them again for any moves in the future.

I've been using Clear Lake Movers for all of my moving needs since first relocating to the Clear Lake area in 2007. They've always been fairly priced and professional. Their quote process is very easy to complete and very transparent, and there are never any extra charges. You pay exactly what you expect to pay, and the service is always impeccable. I highly recommend them for your next move.

Setting up my move with Clear Lake Movers, Inc was very easy and stress free. They managed to move my very bulky and heavy furniture with no issue and were very efficient with moving everything to my new place. Would recommend and work with them again.

I called to schedule only 2 days before I needed to move and they were able to accomodate me (at the end of a month). Jessica was amazingly helpful. The crew showed up on time, did a walk through with me to make sure they knew exactly what I wanted. Loaded and unloaded my things carefully and efficiently. They made sure to put everything exactly where I wanted it and set it up for me. I highly recommend them. It was a great experience from the first call to the last box being dropped off at my new home

Clearlake Movers is the best ever. From the 1st phone call when I was looking for a moving company and spoke with Ms Daisy and Jara all the way to the day I waved goodbye with a big smile and a huge thank you to the guys that moved my belongings-this place is A+++ and if I could I'd give them 10 stars. I had a great experience with Clear Lake Movers. They had an opening last minute, pricing was reasonable, everyone was nice and helpful. The movers worked fast and didn't damage anything. I would recommend them as well as I will use them in the future.

The process from beginning to end was flawless with Clear Lake Movers, from the office getting me scheduled quickly to the men who showed up with determination and care of moving me out of a 3rd floor apartment. They were attentive, handled with care and communicated with me along the way in a manner where I felt comfortable and confident that this process was going to go off without a hitch! I will gladly recommend this company to anyone in the market.

We had 3 very professional, polite young men that came in and moved quickly to get things done. They were very careful and used care with everything they moved. They were also very friendly and personable. We were very happy with the way the got things done so quickly and how they handled the job. Clear Lake Movers did a fantastic job for our recent move. The team was on time and got to work immediately. They took time to point out any imperfections in furniture which I appreciated and understand to protect the business. They also made sure to wrap all furniture very well and treated my belongings like their own. Best company I've ever used for moving, I would definitely recommend and use again if needed!

They try and scam you after they move you and threaten you if you dont have cash. Look i am not the only one there are multiple people on here that say the same thing. This guy is the worst of the worst i regret ever letting them move me. the owner insists they dont have any record of my move or its a different company but it isnt. When he gets bored he calls me to this day and threatens me and curses threatens yells and screams about my review and has my cell so i am positive this is the correct company. We are talking two years later guy still randomly harasses me This guy needs some help he is crazy. Honestly i feel unsafe that he knows where i live

Zero stars Despite the owner (David) and scheduler (Daisy) repeated insistence, there was no notification given of trip charge outside of their 10mi radius. They show up with non English speaking staff and attempt to notify you that your hourly move started when they left the office and won't end until they get back to there office. I reluctantly paid an extra 300$ over the verbal estimate given over the phone.

I have used movers from Cleveland Texas and was not charged a trip fee. DO NOT USE this mover if you live more than 10 mi from them as they will charge you a trip fee. The owner and scheduler are unprofessional and they do not ascribe to the adage "the customer is always right." I have moved dozens of times and never experienced such unprofessional front and back office staff.

They are polite on phone and took my appointment. They called the day before and the morning of the move the driver called to tell me they were on the way. The price was hourly rate based on how many men I needed. They worked hard and fast. No surprises.! Price was what they quoted me.

Love how quick and efficient these guys are they made sure my stuff was covered strapped or wrapped move me in to the 3rd floor with ease will definitely use and recommend these use this company again

They did a great job, my friends have used them and gave them strong recommendations. They confirmed every detail before hand, arrived exactly on time, and handled a complex move with ease, and in half the time I anticipated. The team wore masks and were very conscious of trying to maintain social distance guidelines.

Job well done once again with Clear Lake Movers. I have used this moving company twice now in a span of about four years. They are awesome! David is the owner and he's wonderful. Very easy to get in contact with and he will address any issues or concerns you may have about your move. The moving Guys were great too. Obviously we are in Rona times now.

I was moved out of a High Rise and they are strict about Mask wearing for everyone in the main areas. My movers had Masks and gloves and never had an issue. They moved me quick and focused on being precise and careful. I was tickled by the fact that they even took their time placing my clothes so nicely back into my new closet. :- My move went smoothly.

Everything accounted for and no oopsies! Oh and the price was unbeatable. I will always recommend Clear Lake Movers. Especially if you are coming to this area to live. Great job again guys and thank you for taking such good care of me once again. G

Had my back. After another company in Houston area stood me up two days in a row, this company made the time for me. I called them up and 1hr later there was a truck in my drive way. I couldn't thank this company enough. I will definitely be using them again

Clear Lake Movers have moved my household twice previously; this time a small amount from apartment to a storage unit just up the street. AWFUL. It took three me over 6 billable hours to move what few things I had remaining, (planning to move out of state and had sold all the heavy pieces, only small pieces, walk-in closet, and kitchen remained.) Horrifying to see the two men whom I had been promised were trained in handling fragile wall art, and valuable china, had no clue on how to wrap, or pack my pieces.

I had purchased additional boxes and pads for those I could not handle, having recently had surgery. Never used a one of them. Placing the items in the storage was a nightmare the way they just stacked unwrapped TV on top of valuable small desk. Billing of six hours, $50 an hour, came to over $650. More than when they moved complete three bedroom household into a storage unit. NEVER again will I trust the owners, who 'swore' they were trained packers, and loaders, efficient and timely.

None of those. I complained about the slowness, rudeness, damaging of pieces. i.e. throws, lamps, and scratched desk. Never heard back from them. Amount on Visa card same day. No recourse. There are other great professional local movers I will use soon to move into my upcoming residence. I tell anyone I know moving not to use. Never use hourly rate; secure a contract rate if possible and give the workers a nice tip if they are desiring.

On June 29, 2018, Clear Lake Movers came to move my household items into storage. They arrived in the evening when they were scheduled. Jose and his crew were courteous and helpful. The problem came when they moved my mattress and box spring in the master bedroom. I had a white velvet bag with my valuable jewelry (valued at $60,000), under my mattress.

I heard one of the guys saying jackpot. It wasn't Jose. The jewelry has sentimental value to me because it was my late mother's. I'm handicapped and couldn't get in there to check what was going on. The next day, one of the guys did not come to finish the job. My fiance knew I placed the jewelry there when we went on a recent trip.

He wasn't there to check out what I heard. We are totally unpacked and the jewelry is gone. I'm Sorry, but I cannot recommend Clear Lake Movers because they have a thief working for them. I have moved all over the United Stares. Never once had I had a mover steal something from me. If I had known my fiance didn't remove the jewelry when we returned from our trip, I would have called them out on it and call League City Police department.

Absolutely A+ Number 1. I would consider them the first and only choice. Family owned and operated the crew arrives ready to work so watch out! Prepare in advance. They make the best use of their time results in a lower bill. Call Kelly she is the best! I referred my brother and sister all moved back to back over a 10 day period and they all had the same experience! Next move? Yep I will call CLM. The Best!

I would really give them 0 stars but I have to give one to post. Had them scheduled for today to help unload a truck. I was told two men would be here by noon. I tried contacting them and no answer at either number. Then message comes on that number is not valid. I didn't get a courtesy call or anything to let us know they weren't coming. 12:42 and haven't shown up.

If you couldn't take the job you should have just said that instead of standing a 75 year old lady up. Horrible customer service!. I wouldn't use a business like this again or recommend that no one else does. **To business response*** That is a flat out lie. No one called me until after I posted this review which was right before 1:00. I started calling you all at 12:15 since no one had showed up Or called, both the number on your website and the number that called me back when I first set up move.

If someone would have called me before 12 to tell me you were running late this wouldn't have been a bad review because you would have shown courtesy. You didn't you showed complete lack of courtesy and then make it worse with you dishonest post. Since you couldn't just simply own up to your bad management and made it seem like it was our fault, here are pictures to show when I was calling you and when you first called me along with your text. You're just confirming how shady and unreliable of a business you are. Shame on you!

Update my best friend was 8 months pregnant with twins when she moved from a 3-bedroom house to a 5 bedroom house. I referred her to the neighbors because her husband was out of town and then she had no business moving her on things. When she told them that I had referred her they gave her the same rate as me. Their current rates are still lower or equal to their competitors, but they certainly make sure they take care of there customers.

My friend was extremely pleased with the service and the professional nature of the men. They are very organized one person is always in charge and is your go-to person to talk to so you don't feel like you're having to orchestrate all the workers if you have a big crew. I would never recommend anybody else. You will definitely be satisfied with the service.

I was very pleased with Clearlake movers. I have never hired movers before but, from now on I will. They moved me from Clearlake to the Galleria area in under 4 hours. It would have taken me 2 days to do that move by myself. They work very fast to keep the prices down. That's something I really appreciated. Not one item damaged not one box scratched. The prices are cheap for all that they do. They also give a cash discount. I'm very impressed. I will for sure use Clearlake movers again!

These guys helped me move twice now, both times were very good, the most recent was after Harvey and even though they and a lot of places were busy, they were able to schedule us in very quickly and it helped make a difficult time less stressful. I've used other movers before that have sent unqualified guys out that were less qualified to be lifting milk jugs than my child, these guys know what they are doing and do it quickly.

A few things were rubbed up a little, but that's to be expected from the situation, and our time constraints, but over all I'm happy with the move and will be using them again when the time comes to move again.

Used them a couple weeks ago and couldn't have made a better choice. Very professional and nothing was damaged. Will definitely use them again!

The movers were alright. My complaint came when the lead guy had a problem with his square and wasn't able to charge my card at that time. The next day I phoned the receptionist to clear things up. She too was having issues. She apologized and said she would call me when the issue was resolved. The next day I received a threatening text from the owner claiming that I was avoiding paying for the service. Wow.

That was obviously NOT the case but I was not about to argue with anyone via text. I immediately called the office and spoke again with the receptionist whom apologized for not calling me upon resolving the issue on their end as she said that she would. A serious lack of communication exists within this company. I used them twice in the past and this time makes my third. However, I will never use them again! They lost a repeat customer. I suggest looking elsewhere for moving services!

When planning our move 2 weeks ago I did a lot of research on movers and asked for referrals. These guys came highly recommended and now I know why. Dino, Salvadore and Santos were the absolute best! They were very careful with our items and extremely efficient. They were professional but also friendly and just plain good people. I highly recommend CLM and will definitely be calling them again the next time I move.
