After nearly a year of work, the facility had a new look that was clean and inviting. Over the years, constant upgrades have been made to improve security, safety, and operations.

I have been so impressed by the manager, Martel, and the staff at Castro Valley-Hayward Storage, that I've not only had my storage there for over 10 years, but I have also recommended it to others; and they too are very happy. The facility is well managed, clean, well lit and user friendly. I've even rented spaces while helping others move so as to control the clutter and boxes which can become overwhelming in nearby moves. In short, I'm a very satisfied customer. Rene'

Had my stuff here from august 2020-December 2020. Just a few months between moves but I had a great experience with Castro valley Hayward storage and would store my stuff here again. Both staff members I had communication with were very friendly and accommodating. The staff also does a good job keeping the place very clean. The price seamed fair and reasonable compared to other storage prices I researched in the area.
I got a second floor storage unit to save a bit of money and it was very easy to access with the elevator and complimentary moving carts. They also rented me their large moving truck which was less than what I would have paid at uhaul.

Castro Valley Storage is a great place to store things. I moved my things from another national storage chain, and was pleased that the rates at Castro Valley Storage were significantly cheaper. If you're a senior, you get a 10% discount. The facility is in a great location, is modern, the grounds are very well managed, and the staff is friendly, professional, and supportive. Martel is the manager at the facility that I have used, and he has been SUPER professional and very supportive. I've used a number of other storage places, before, and I can say that this one is top notch! You can rent there with confidence!
