MovingStar were a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. Their team were simply outstanding with our recent international relocation. They are extremely professional and went above and beyond to help us with a complicated move. Their operation is highly organized and their staff are all efficient and responsive and went out of their way to be helpful.

I would be very happy to use them again. Having done 4 international moves I wouldn't hesitate to use MovingStar again. They are the best company we've worked with.

BEWARE "Moving Star" has honest reviews removed! You are seeing scrubbed and likely illegitimate reviews. Avner misrepresented himself to me and my family as reliable and responsive. Once the agreement was signed, he became aloof but whats more is that once they had all our furnishings in storage, he went dark. He refused to release our goods until and unless we paid more money. He is a professional in scamming. Save yourself the stress and hire movers whose reviews don't appear suspiciously perfect!

We moved from San Francisco to New York City in December, on a short timeline and over Thanksgiving. As you can imagine (or know), packing and moving home can be a stressful time. Actually, even finding a selecting a mover you feel confident in is stressful enough! Avner and team were great. Communication around costs, timing, process and logistics on both ends, along with insurance options, was all clear and all our questions were answered quickly and clearly.

The actual packing, move and delivery was on time and completely stress free. Are Moving Star the cheapest mover you can find? No. Are they the most expensive white glove packer and mover? Definitely not. Could they have been better in any way? Honestly, I don't think so. I'll definitely use them again.

In the last 20 years we've moved houses every 2 years. So we've seen many moving companies and experienced the various ways it can be done. Moving star was by far the best experience we've had! The team was very kind, professional and did a fantastic job. We all hate moving, but when it's done with a great team it makes a major difference.

Rainier Overseas Movers had Moving Star take care of my pickup, furniture wrapping and load into a shipping container for international transport. From the first contact Avner & Gil have been professional, communicative, attentive to detail, and tirelessly answered all my questions. Their moving guys were outstanding - hard-working, cheerful, packed my antique furniture with great care, and loaded all the furniture and boxes carefully into the container, strapped and braced for shipping. They handled my stuff like it was their own. Highly recommend this professional company!

I used movingstar last year Oct moving from Hong Kong back to Bay area, thinking it's gonna be complicated and alot to worry about. Surprisingly it was smoothest experience i ever expected. They walked me through step by step, giving me updates on my shipment without having me to ask them. Packing was professional and neat! I moved back a electronic piano, two bass guitar and one guitar!

Everything was safe n nicely handled! They deliver fast and on time! Recommended my dad to use them and his shipment arrived today and it was just as amazing as last time! Highly recommended!

I'm very happy to share this review. Avner and Gil (and the moving crew) we're extremely professionals and we had a great experience. I've had some bad experiences with movers and that made me feel very uncomfortable dealing with them again. When we shopped around for a moving service this time I had a few coming in that reminded me why I should be wary.

But when we meet Avner both my wife and I felt we're dealing with a different persona. They're quote want the cheapest one and when we asked them for reduction as we got other quotes, Avner pointed out all the hidden fees the others weren't sharing. When I confronted the two others I realized their quote was not only competitive but also was reassured I'm not going to get stung.

The moving day went very smoothly. The level of service was great and the movers we're very kind. Avner and Gil called a few times to make sure we were satisfied from the level of service. We had some furniture left for donations and they brought an additional truck just to haul them (no charge) to needed people. Very not taken for granted! I must say credit is due where credit is due. This was a seamless and headacheless experience. I'd highly recommend utilizing their services as we felt taken care of and reassured

This company lost a big trunk which contained my winter blankets. I was moving to a much colder place and really needed them. They did not take responsibility and it was neither found nor was I compensated for their mistake. Me and my young child use sleeping bags as blankets as I could not replace what was lost as they were very good quality blankets which I expected to use for years.

It has been an extremely frustrating experience and waste of my time in following up with the owner of the company who never provided a solution. There are better moving companies who will provide better services. Also, please ensure that you go to the weighing bridge yourself when they weigh your shipment. I do not trust this company. They could have deliberately stolen my trunk to cut down weight and still charge me for it. DO NOT recommend this company. Save yourself the trouble they will cause you.

I'm a month late on this review but this company was great! We booked a few days before we needed them and they were so accommodating. The movers were on time and moved quickly. We were very pleased with the service we received. Thank you so much

I was referred to Moving Star by Rainier Overseas Movers, whom I have used in the past and had a great experience. I needed an estimate for a complicated move--first to storage, then long distance (likely cross-country, but potentially international). Avner and his colleagues were great. Once I made contact, he quickly set up an appointment to do an in-home survey the next day.

While the initial survey was a bit heavier than I expected based on another recent move and competing quotes, Avner (with support from Rainier, another superb company) worked with me to reach an agreement, answering questions and helping to work out the details. They also did their very best to accommodate my schedule and to get their crew out to my home the day before a holiday.

When moving day arrived, they were on time, fast, careful, and courteous--everything you want in a moving crew. I have done many (five and counting) cross country or international moves, and I have been burned before by companies that make false promises to get your business and then fail to deliver. Moving Star was the exact opposite: fair, reliable, and genuinely helpful. It was a great experience from beginning to end, and I would not hesitate to use Moving Star again.

I sent a community member to Moving Star for a relatively small move. they treated it as if it was a major move. the customer service was wonderful, and everything was done in a timely and professional manner. Very satisfied.

You are in great hands with this company! Avner and his crew are top of the line. They take care of all the details. They moved us overseas, which is a potentially nerve wracking experience, they made it easy. The crew that packed our things were real artists. They used every inch of space in the container and nothing was damaged. Watching them work is an experience, they really know what they are doing. Very nice, good, strong movers and crew. Needed a small furniture move and they were so courteous and helpful. One guy can lift a heavy 6-person wood table over his head and down a 30 foot walkway and lift into truck by himself without needing assistance. Good sense of balance, and Strong! Will use them for future moves for sure.

We used Moving Star for a Bay Area (CA) to Park CIty (UT) in December 2015. Great job and would recommend to others. Had tight schedules with moving cars and setting up on the Utah side. Avner helped make our dates happen. Made us feel comfortable they could handle our 3 bedroom move (but really 4-5 bedrooms of stuff + garage and outdoor items), especially into a winter environment.

Professional in-house packers who worked tirelessly to get our items all packed. And not a single damaged item on other end. Sure, some timing on the packing and move in dates wasn't to the hour but within a very acceptable range. Thanks Avner and your team.

The process of moving is always a difficult activity but Moving Star will lower your anxiety. They also can provide long term or short term storage at very competitive rates in their Fremont headquarters.

I moved with MovingStar in May of 2014 and also back in 2005. Avner came out for a free in house estimate and I received a very professional estimate in couple of days. I used full service moving between Campbell, CA and Rocklin, CA, they packed everything on the previous day. The guys were very nice and WOW! they can pack! Delivery happened on the next day, they were there on time, they unloaded everything, not a nick on the furnitures (they wrapped it) nor on the walls an these were 2 story homes.

Very impressive. They assembled the furniture, put the boxes into the right rooms. I unpacked all my china and crystals and I did not have one broken piece and not even a chip. I highly recommend the company to everybody for short or long distance move, I did both with them. I recommending MovingStar and their team to everybody in my circles. ILP

Worked with Avner and his team more than 3 times. They are Super stars with capital S. There are so many dubious people in that line of business so finding and working with those guys (Avner and Gil) is nothing but GR8 experiance

This is the second time I am using Moving Star! First time I used them to bring my container from Israel to SF and second time was just Saturday to move my things to a new apartment within the city. They were on time, very patient, and organized. Worked fast but efficiently. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again in the future!

I don't know where to start. Our initial engagement started with a one day delay because the truck was not available. We decided for the storage option because we were in transition. The movers they hire do not read the instructions on the boxes and try to get everything out of the truck without considering if its "Fragile" or not. As a result, I had a lot of Riedel and European glasses broke as well as designer furniture damaged. When contacting them to find a solution, they recommended I use my own insurance. I cannot recommend MOVING STAR

Moving Star company was recommended to me by a friend when I moved to Europe for six months. Subsequently, I left all my belongings in the Bay area. Moving Star very satisfactorily managed to store my goods for me. Avner Yonai was very helpful, easy to communicate with and accommodating when I needed to access my unit after the regular business hours.

I used Moving Star 6 years ago. Back then Avner, Gil and their crew did an awesome job moving us from the East Bay to the Tri-Valley area. He also shipped a container to the Philippines filled with our furniture and personal belongings. Everything arrived safely and in a timely manner. Most recently we used Moving Star again to move from the Tri-Valley area to the Peninsula. Avner's crew worked efficiently and took great care in packing up all of our belongings.

From Point A to Point B, his crew worked hard to help make our move successful. Avner provided fair pricing and his estimates were always guaranteed. Gil always called to follow-up on how our moves went and I have had nothing but good things to say about their service. I have referred them to other Family and Friends and will continue to do so.
