Great service. They moved two cars from Florida to NY. They were on time and professional. Cars were put into a trailer and delivered clean and neat.

We have really appreciated the patience and attention to detail as we have worked on our family member's relocation. I know when I am being a pest, but the staff at Schaap never seemed to realize it. Very helpful with addressing my many questions and stepping us through the process. Wish they had a Tampa office.

Still haven't been reimbursed for my carpet pad. $182.83. DO NOT HIRE I've now been ignored by Alex who said he would talk to his dad the Fish's and Schapps are not reputable business anymore. The customer is being made to pay for incompetence of the workers per Alex, who works in the fiscal office. I've been threatened by them that if I go to social media I won't get my check for the damages. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

They Are nice enough staff. But sooooooo many cigarette breaks. (I'm not opposed to smoking at all). I had to keep watching them. I am sure my bill would have been at least 2 hours less, adding in a trip to the store on the way to new house, professional movers come prepared with drinks lunch etc. To further my frustration they put a hole in my carpet padding. Waiting for company to call me about making good.

Will see what remedy they come up with to resolve. So the guy I'm supposed to be dealing with texts me at 6:24 AM. Thanks for waking me up, how rude. This company owes me almost 200 dollars for what they ruined. There was some other things broken and boxes not upright as clearly the boxes used were an up and down pattern. And FYI they will sit on your furniture for their multiple breaks. Thank goodness it was a wooden piece or it would smell like smoke.

Glenn and his team worked with me on my sudden relocation. They were all very professional and made sure I knew what was going on. I highly recommend them! They made moving less stressful.

I had a move with Schaap last month from New York to Virginia. I booked them as they were local movers and reviews looked good. On the day of moving, the movers came after 1pm inspite of me being told that they would come in the morning. They were able to pack and load everything in less than a couple of hours. Throughout the moving process, Glen or Schaap office never answered or returned any of my calls, my only point of contact was Jackie who was in sales and had helped me with a quote.

He was responsive to my messages or calls. I received my stuff four days late with the TV table cabinet door broken. Later I got an email with invoice saying that an amount was due, even though I did the full payment on date of moving. I lost so much time back and forth with the customer service due to this. The only thing I was happy about is getting all my stuff back (even though not on time).

We just moved last week and had an incredible team of movers that were professional, efficient, and meticulous in the care and transport of our belongings. Highly recommend Schaap's and a specific shout out to John, Frank, and Tim who literally did the heavy lifting. Very pleased and grateful for their assistance.

Schapp movers made my local move very easy, I was stressed over my closing date changing three times within three weeks. They told me that they would work with me to get me moved ( from a large home) holding my furniture overnight until I closed on my new home. The three men that moved me were great, hard workers.wrapped and secured all my furniture, nothing was damaged. They showed up on time and worked non stop, very pleased, highly recommend them!

Schaap saved the day! My movers cancelled the day before my move. I called about 30 places before I called Schaap and none were able to help. When I called Schaap, Jackie answered the phone and was super nice. He assured me he would do everything he could to find me movers for the next day. Within minutes he was able to confirm they'd take the job and sent me over a contract with a very reasonable price.

The three movers who came the next day(Frank, Tim, and.ack, sorry I can't remember the third guy's name!) worked incredibly hard, were really professional and friendly, and got the job done extremely efficiently. This was a big move-3 bedrooms, a garage, and basement-and they really pulled it out on a day that was humid and then even rained! I would highly recommend using this company and will use them for all future moves. Thanks, guys!

Critical: Responsiveness I am moving from Albany with United Van lines, Schaap is the moving coordinator. My arrival date is long past. I left several messages asking for clarity, but have received no replies. I don't know when I will receive my stuff. I have been ghosted by Schaap.

We recently contracted with Schaap Moving and Storage for our move from our home of 34 years to a new home. I can't speak highly enough of the job they did. The crew was four of the hardest working gentlemen I have ever seen, there was no damage to any of our belongings (including some valuable paintings about which I had been very concerned and some expensive Danish teak furniture), and the crew was so efficient that the final bill came in several hundred dolars lower than the original quote. Thank you so much!

Sales person could not have done a better job. Worked with him as date of move kept being changed due to closing process on our property. Moving people and driver stayed in touch from the time our possessions finnally left our home till the time they were safely delivered to our new home. All very nice people to work with.

I don't drive the nicest car in town, but before Schaap moving touched it, it drove. Their process, is to pick up your car, bring it to their mechanic to be inspected before transport, then it is shipped. I received a call from Todd (the man in charge of shipping the cars), saying that my CV joint, had just FALLEN OFF in his mechanics hands. They were going to bring the car back to my driveway, but I had them take it to my mechanic just a few miles away.since without a CV joint, it no longer moves (even though they DROVE it onto the flat bed that delivered the car to Schaap.).

It was kind of them to do that for me. I spoke to Todd to see what he thought happened. His answer went something like this: You had a fracture in the cast on your front axle, that you MUST have been driving around with. And when we got the car, it JUST HAPPENED to break. We can't be responsible for everything that breaks in our care, or we'd own everything.

My mechanics determined that it was an obvious FRESH break in the cast, and that when you turn a wheel to it's full extent, and drop the clutch (your foot slips) the axle will snap. My 'friend' Todd basically said, it was my mechanics word against theirs. Also, I discovered, they have NO claims department. The man responsible for breaking my car, was the only one there to speak to. Don't let them touch your car, if you want it in a similar condition, from when you last saw it. United Van Lines should be embarrassed that this company carries their name.
