I have never had a better experience with any company then I had with Don farr moving! They were so professional and hard working. They made my move so easy and stress free. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

I was in need of help moving my mom from an apt to assisted living facility. I live out of state, with limited time & Don Farr came thru. Nick & Joe were great. Very polite, efficient, careful. They were also careful & very considerate @ the assisted living facility. Moving is hectic & stressful, but I was relieved to have the actual move of the property go so smooth was a blessing. Five young local guys showed up to move (load and unload) a 3 bedroom home in one day. They were respectful and did a great job. They were all attentive to every request we made. The foreman showed great leadership and they stayed within the quoted price.

I was a little nervous about using a mover for the first time. I had Donn Farr Moving help me and they put all of my concerns to rest. The four gentlemen that showed up to help me move were very courteous, polite, and professional. They took exceptional care of my belongings, wrapped them well to protect my furniture, did everything possible to protect the interior of my home (both old and new). It was an excellent decision using Don Farr and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for help with moving.

My wife and I hired Don Farr for a local move, from a 3 bed 2 bath rental to a home we just purchased. The in person estimate process was quick and efficient, and the quote was well below several others we had received. After a friend of mine had recommended them to us after having used them in the past himself, booking them was a no brainer. It's been a few weeks since we've moved in, so I don't remember everyone in the crew's name but we had Caesar and 3 other young men and they were fantastic.

They were polite, responsive, extremely attentive to our belongings, and very friendly. Not to mention they worked very hard and very fast. They carried some very heavy furniture for us and some very sentimental pieces that were handed down through several generations of our families. Everything was handled with the utmost care. They made sure all furniture pieces were placed exactly where we wanted them and all boxes were placed in the correct rooms to make unpacking an absolute breeze (which is so much appreciated since my wife is 4 months pregnant, I would never be able to rearrange some of these furniture pieces myself without damaging our floors!). These 4 gentlemen deserve a raise! Thank you for everything you guys did for us, we can not recommend Don Farr enough!

Critical: Responsiveness Lost my expensive paintings with no return calls or contact. Worst of all you have pay to get your belongings out of storage. After 2 years of never missing a monthly payment, It is required that you pay a retrieval fee starting in the hundreds of dollars. It was so unexpected. Read the fine print.

Couldn't have asked for a better experience! Getting a quote and setting up our moving date was super simple. We had everything confirmed within 24 hours and got a great rate on our move. The owner, Dave, sent us an absolutely A+ crew to help with our move. The crew of James, Chris, Josh and Nick showed up right on time and were extremely pleasant, thoughtful and professional.

They worked quickly but didn't rush anything and strategized the best ways to move large/heavy/awkward pieces before moving anything. They had to move our piano down 15 steps and tackled it like true professionals. They were careful to wrap furniture in plastic and moving pads to protect everything. Everything was moved without one scratch. Once we got to our new house, they unloaded quickly and efficiently and were happy to move things around while we decided the best placement for furniture. Don Farr took all of the stress out of our move. Best money we spent during the whole home buying process!

We originally booked our move with George moving company but they realized they messed up our moving date and couldn't accommodate us on the date we needed anymore - only a week before we had to move. Their saving grace is that they referred us to Don Farr who took excellent care of us with such short notice. The process was so easy and efficient. The crew took really good care of us. I'm actually thankful George moving company messed up our order and we went with Don Farr instead.

Destroyed the majority of our furniture and they are unwilling to compensate us for their unskilled work (included just a handful of pictures below to highlight some of the damage). One crew member broke the arms off a chair, another put a knee through our buffet cabinet and another kick the bottom out of a stool and they kept laughing saying we could file a claim.

It was the worst experience watching them intentionally damage our furniture. I can't stress enough that you shouldn't even consider them. They also falsely advertise that they are the official movers of the Pittsburgh Penguins.
