This is my second time using this company. First was for my daughter's move and today for my move. I can't say enough about how seamless the entire process was! I'm so impressed with the crew I've had and definitely recommend using this company. Even the representatives answering the phones are pleasant and extremely helpful!

The 3 guys who showed up to move me were amazing! Kind, friendly, attentive, thorough, even a bit delicate. Didn't complain or drag their feet. I had a 2 hr minimum and they were done with the whole thing in 1hr 45 min! Absolutely will use again. I highly recommed. If you're in sw Houston call +1 281-965-5450 And they will really take good care of you! I'm so happy. Like, elated. Sounds crazy but the stuff I needed moved has been needing to be moved for months. I wish I'd called these guys sooner. They did a great great great job. I am pleased.

Super fast movers! Took 4 hours when the initial estimate was 5. Very Impressed by their speed, efficiency, and care of our stuff.

A three man team showed up on time and got right to work. They were very careful with my items. Fragile furniture was wrapped to prevent damage. The movers were very efficient with time. Four hours was estimated and they finished in three. I would definitely use this company again!

First time hiring Ameritex Movers and the move went amazingly fast. Three guys came and did my whole one bedroom apartment to another one bedroom apartment in 2 hours! It helps if you also speak spanish as some reviews have mentioned, because the guys followed all instructions clearly. So far none of my furniture is damaged, although one of my couch cushion got a little dirty it wasn't a problem for me, I was going to clean it anyway. Gave them a nice lunch before they left just to show my appreciation!

Elmer and his 2 helpers were fast and efficient. They took extra care of all my heavy items all the way from the 3rd floor to our new 1st floor apartment. They were knowledgeable in maneuvering all the bulky items in a safe way. I felt at ease that they knew what they were doing. It was hard work but they made it all look so easy and fast. Very happy with my experience.

The 3-man crew that came were super nice and professional. As a single mom I didn't feel uncomfortable at all. This is the second time I've used Ameritex in 2 years. This time they wrapped my furniture even more than last time and they took my sons tv mount and tv off the wall for me (I was going to do it after the move). It took a bit longer than expected as I rented a U-Haul prior to them coming and moved all boxes and some furniture myself; however, they worked diligently and I don't feel they wasted time.

I had 2 pieces of furniture slightly/minor damaged last time (it happens) but this time I don't believe anything was damaged. Overall I'm happy with the service. I like that they disassemble and reassemble my kids' bunk bed for me. It's worth it just for that. Lol. They were on time for arrival as well. Thank you!

DO NOT USE Ameritex! I would not recommend this moving company. The worst moving experience I've ever had and the company does not respond or do anything about complaints. The movers left the house (I was moving out of) without saying a word or finishing the move, we just noticed they'd left, then they took forever to make a 7 minute drive to the new house.

Of course they took their time moving, which cost extra money. They cracked a compartment in my refrigerator and I had an item come up missing. I had a scent diffuser and lighter on a ledge and they actually burned the reeds in the diffuser and then hid it in a closet. They left residue and burn marks on the ledge. They also left snack wrappers in candles holders in the guest room.

I was quoted that I would be given up to 20 boxes free and was charged for every single one. They used my nice comforter to cover my TV when I was told they would use a box. So many things happened during this move, far too many to list here. I would not recommend this company, there was nothing stress free about this move. Their advertising makes them seem like a more inexpensive option but they're not.

Even if other companies are slightly more expensive up front, it's worth it to go with a reputable, honest company with good customer service instead of having to try to correct things on the back end. The company has yet to respond to anything, so now I will have to take this up with my credit card company.

It was the most horrible experience I've ever had with a moving company. A couple of movers were awfully rude. One would not even acknowledge me - the owner of the house. When I called upset about the blatant level of disrespect, the gentlemen informed me that they were not there to be nice to me and that they were there to move my stuff. He then explained that it's hard to get good help with this economy.

He then unceremoniously hung up on me. Later that evening, I noticed chipped furniture and the worst part - my daughter's and my wedding dresses were lying rolled up on the floor under a rug. I will never use this company again. I also would not recommend this company. I have never encountered such rudeness from a moving company.

The crew that moved me did a great job. They knew what they were doing and took real good care of my furniture, but the company didn't honor my coupon that they mailed me. I guess that's they way of getting you to call them.

We have used Ameritex twice in the last six months. Both times they have been very reliable, on time, worked good and efficiently and finished the move fast! The crew is very polite. We definitely recommend them for your move!

They are the only company I've moved with in the past 10 years. Recently I use them to move from Houston to Dallas with unloading only in both cities. Super efficient super quick.

Do yourself a favor and find a different company. They contract out and it's like playing Russian roulette except with more bullets so basically just shoot yourself in the head first and then choose these guys. This was a BRAND new piece of furniture and this is the end result. It took these guys 8 hours to move my two bedroom apartment to another two bedroom apartment.

Mind you, the elevator was out at my old place so I get it, but then again how many places actually have elevators anyways? And the elevator worked perfectly well at my new spot. Long story short, found an empty beer can and a marijuana vape among my possessions after I discovered this (they cleverly stacked boxes around it so I didn't see it until after I was unpacking). I'm guessing someone enjoyed themselves while costing me over $1000 to move less than 9 miles apart.

But the manager says that the beer can and vape must have been mine because I didn't physically see the men drink the beer or smoke the pen. But I did smell the driver's breath as he hurriedly got me to sign for payment. Hate this company and I hope they lose business in the future.

Scheduled a move for Saturday morning with a start time between 8:00 and 9:00. Was told they would call 45 minutes before. Received a text at 9:00 that they would be at the house in 45 minutes. hour and half later, still no show. Nobody answers their phone. Finally do get ahold of someone around 11:00 to be told that the crew bought bad gas and they cancelled on me.

With a closing scheduled, they cancel. Promised me a crew by 8:00 am Sunday. 8;10, they tell me 9:00. 9:00 they tell me about 30 more minutes. 9:30 get a call from the driver saying 7 minutes away. Finally show at 10:50. If your move is critical and you don't wish to be lied to and jerked around, stay away from these people. all they would offer for leaving me stressed and thoroughly &*$$@^ off was a free hour. Stress free move my butt.

Great super fast service, a good sense of urgency when moving. Very friendly and they listened to everything we needed. I highly recommend and especially if you speak Spanish, they do too so you will be in good hands.

The company broke most of my belongings and then never called me to set up the claim. Rude upon arrival. And they didn't finish the job. Worst experience. Would honestly rate 0/5.

The biggest crooks! The guys on the phone lie and two of them can't tell you the same thing. When you tell the other that's not what I was told they act surprised and claim well so and so couldn't have told you that. They are dishonest and set you up to get as much from you as possible. They send guys that are nice but clearly have a language barrier which really hinders and lengthens the process. Save yourself the headache now and just know their employee whose name starts with a V is a complete condescending jerk. I wish I could give 0 stars

I'm giving 3 stars HOWEVER my movers were perfect gentlemen and they provided excellent service. when I called on the day of the move this male answered the phone and was extremely rude and said I am mean and I pay my customer service to be nice. Unfortunately I will not be using their services again, I'm a customer! My only reason for calling was to let them know that my movers would need to wait a little bit when we got to my new residence because the loading dock opened at 12. Simple right? Well he became rude guess he was having a bad day. I really liked the movers. ITS a shame I cannot recommend them to any one.

First problem of all arrived late! Buti needed to move out of this apartment today because this was discussed two months ago when we're done Then when I told I'm assuming head guy about it cause I'm rushing to help or at least put my stuff on the sidewalk and it was an issue! My items were pre packaged by myself and there was no hassle and no problems got your team only the language barrier!

Example when I specifically said throw away and don't throw away. However After I explained I wanted to keep the cushions on my couch several times saying keep! why were they thrown away and now dirty, but y'all won't give a damn about that! And it's ok because I kept my cool after the first issue the head guy had telling me it took 5hr and 46 mins at another stop.

Not my problem. Anyways, I still and I had to stop them and say again keep and then the head guy said something to them! Really? I will never ever use this company again! But one thing for sure I bet you got your money's worth.

The opposite of a stress free move. The movers accidentally knocked our sofa into the wall, leaving a (4"x4") hole in the sheetrock wall. It was a mistake they made - not a big deal in and of itself, but the company's response has been atrocious. It cost me $700 to get the hole fixed, so I filed a claim with Ameritex to get refunded and sent them the receipt.

They told me it was not covered by their policy and sent me a check for $100 instead. Very disappointing that they would not cover something that was clearly a mistake on their end. Would never use these guys again. If they accidentally knock into your garage or damage your house in any way you will be responsible for the damages! Would think twice if you are going to use them, if you can afford to cover for their mistakes.

I had a small move, so the $700 I had to pay to get the wall fixed nearly doubled the price of my move. They could have kept me as a customer by reimbursing me for their mistake, instead they have lost a customer for life.

Awesome guys! They were very helpful professional didn't complain! They packed our 26 ft moving truck from top to bottom to the end! They were awesome!

Fernando and his team were so great. They showed up 2 hours early, which I wasn't expecting, but it worked out perfectly. I was completely moved into my new place an hour before I was even scheduled to use the freight elevator at my new place. They were very careful with all of my things, and even placed them in the rooms that I intended them to go.

I even told them to go ahead and just place everything inside and I will figure it out, but they insisted on helping me place things in the correct area and helped me set them up. I could not have been more thankful, considering my friend who was supposed to help me move got stuck in Chicago and couldn't make it. They really did take a lot of stress off of moving alone and I was so grateful for them.

They were also very nice - I even got a referral for a long haul move next year for when I plan to head back to the East Coast. I recommended them to a friend of mine who is moving this weekend and I will recommend them to anyone. I've moved several times over the last 10 years, and Ameritex was by far the best I've hired, hands down.

Horrible service! They broke my glass marble table, throw all my shoes from the shoe rack on the floor while driving, even damaged my outside plants! Don't even use them! They don't know what they are doing. ANd they only carry basic insurance which is 0.60$ per pound so If they break your $1000 tv you will only get maybe $30 if you are lucky. Ridiculous!

Broke all the glass shelves to my grandmother's China cabinet today. Also, don't ask these guys to move a piano. If there's a resolution to the broken items, I'll update here.

Moving is so stressful, but Amertex helped to ease my burden. Everyone from the scheduler I spoke with to the crew that moved me on 7/8 were top notch. I high recommend this company. I'll definitely use them again.

There was a slight confusion about our move date - which was completely my fault; and they were still able to get 3 movers to us relatively quickly and even gave us a discount. Our movers were amazing, they even packed up our primary closet for us. I would definitely recommend.

Previously this company was reputable and was used by many apartments and professional services in Houston. Unfortunately this is NOT the case anymore. I will spare everyone the long story of how this worthless company and man attempted to scam me out of my money and my time today, but Victor please know you are the LOWEST type of man to ever exist.

You lie continuously, and you don't know how to effectively communicate or run a business. You are a money hungry thief and Ameritex deserves to be reported and SHUT DOWN. I will be reporting them to the BBB as well as everywhere else.

Worst moving company. Their field staff is hit or miss. I used there services twice and the first time they arrived without adequate supplies for a packing service. The second time was for a move and they arrived 6 hours late. The field staff was very knowledgeable in being able to make it a quick move, but the home office can't schedule a project that meets their commitment. Victor was very unprofessional. Would not recommend. I used them because the services were coordinated and funded by the property manager.

This was the most stressless move I have done. The guys were professional and friendly and worked quickly but carefully. I will never use any other moving company.

Called me less than 24 hours before my move and said I had been quoted incorrectly, and that my move would be $500 more than originally quoted. We had been in contact multiple times in the past few days, but they decided to tell me this Sunday night before my Monday morning move. I quickly cancelled and will never use them again. Seems like a ploy by them to force people into just accepting the additional $500 cost since they tell you so last minute. Ridiculous way to handle their business. Do not use them

Osiel, Rodolfo and Omar were super helpful and professional. They showed up in masks and went through the house to see the items and made a plan on how load them up. They were able to load all our items in the one truck. If there was anything they were confused on packing they would ask. Highly recommend these 3 group of men for any move!

I would ABSOLUTELY recommend. They communicated every step of the way. Everyone was very conscientious. They were also incredibly fast. They both loaded and loaded much faster than expected. But I never felt like they were rushing or not taking proper care of any of my belongings. Reasonably priced. I hate moving but this company handled everything so well, it was a mostly stress free this time.

We had a great experience with Ameritex Movers. Libby, Eric and Kathy, in the office, were pleasant and extremely helpful. The movers, Jairo and Rodolfo were amazing. We really enjoyed working with them on the moving day. They were efficient and careful with all of our belongings. Great team! We highly recommend Ameritex!

Currently moving from an apartment to a house and I must say this is the most STRESSFUL situation and company that I have ever made a contract with. Extremely disappointed in your crew and service. I have extremely valuable furniture and delicate pieces and nothing was wrapped. Bare tape placed on my items and kids toys that will most likely cause the paint to peel and lift.

I specified to the company I had a large expensive mirror and they didn't even bother to wrap it. Fragile boxes being thrown and smashed one on top of the other. Explain to me how this is a stress free move?

We used Ameritex today to move from our 3rd floor apt into a home. We were really skeptical which movers to go with, since we had some really expensive and fragile furniture. We could not be happier with Ameritex. They were fast, so efficient, and so patient. Juan, Jose, and David were exactly the kind of movers we wanted. They were super quick, but SO careful with our furniture. I did not have a single complaint. We will always use this company for future moves.

Mike is seriously the best! I dropped the ball on one of my clients move today and called and explained the situation and he said "don't worry, we'll pick the ball back up" and had a move scheduled for my clients within the next few hours. He is an angel. Thank you soo much! : 10/10 would recommend.

BOOK THEM. They rescued me from another moving company that didn't show up and were able to squeeze me in the next day! The whole process was a breeze from booking, to moving, to payment. They updated me the whole day with status of arrival and showed up on time. No hidden fees, fast work, and very friendly workers. Couldn't recommend them enough! Will definitely book again. They also have one of the best rates after calling over 10 companies.

I had scheduled them to move between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm on Friday (10/30/2020). I took a whole day off of work because I was hopeful they would show up between 11:00 am and 12:00 pm. Boy was I wrong! They showed up at 5:08 pm! I called them at 2:30pm to ask for an ETA and the dispatcher (Victor) said they are running late and they should arrive between 3:30 and 4:00. 3:45 pm rolls around and I call back Victor to ask for an ETA and a discount/reimbursement for the time off I had to take from work. Victor proceeds to yell at me through the phone and threatens to cancel my move! Movers finally show up at 5:08 pm and begin moving my furniture.

I moved from a 2 story townhome that is 1300 sqft. It was all packed up to expedite the process. It took them 3 hours to load up my house. (For reference: I had 3 Men Movers move me into the house 3 years earlier with the same amount of belongings and the whole move took 3 hours total). I walked around to make sure that the movers were working with haste and every time I walked out to the truck to check on them, they were on their phones texting!

I was so infuriated that I had them just set up my 2 beds and move the big funiture at my new house and unload everything else in the front room so I can just move all the boxes to the correct rooms. That still took them another 2 hours. I would never recommend this company to anyone I want to remain friends with. Horrible customer service (Victor) and unprofessional moving team.

The HARDEST WORKING CREW OF Jeremias Gonzales. These guys hustled every second even when I offered them to stop for a break multiple times they said no and continued to work! Very friendly and very professional. 65 inch tv, electronics were delicately moved. Absolutely worry free move. A+ WORK! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Terrible moving company, the guys took 3 hours longer then they should have and broke my 700 dollar new tv. When I called to complain I was refunded 3 hours of moving and told I was one of several people that complained. As far as my tv I was given 100 dollars. I usually use 3 men movers and never had any issues, save yourself the trouble and avoid this company.

The movers were quick yet gentle with my items. They were getting paid by the hour but they moved fast! In my new home they respected the walls and floors.

My movers were very kind and everything was smooth and quick! I just moved into a small apartment so I didn't have a lot of things, but they were great at communicating and very respectful. And of course, wearing masks! Which I so appreciated. Overall a positive experience!

The Cuevas father son team provided excellent service. They kept me posted as to the arrival time and thoroughly explained how long this move was going to take, moving everything from a 3rd floor apartment to a 2nd floor apartment. They wanted to make sure we knew this so there wouldn't any surprises at the end. They worked hard for 8 1/2 hours. I would highly recommend Ameritex and this father son team.

Ameritex Movers Houston is a Terrible moving company. Damaged (broke) $250.00 worth of my belongings and after contacting them, they will only pay out $18.00 out of the $250! The 3 men crew they sent where rough on everything and didn't even wrap my belongings which is what they advertise. They scuffed up pretty much all my furniture and where so rude and unprofessional. I do NOT recommend them if you want your belongs intact.

Disappointed, slowest crew ever, came unprepared, couldn't fit all of our items in truck and we had to make a separate trip to get the rest of our things. Called to discuss concerns, no one called back. Told us we still have to pay the full invoice even if the 3 men crew moved like 2 men and didn't get all our stuff, then said management would call us back to make it right.over 6 weeks, still no returned call.

Don't waste your time with Ameritex Movers, we could have moved ourself and done a better job, more efficiently, in less time. Coming from the apartment industry myself over 20 years, I'm embarrassed they would operate with no follow up and such poor service.

Movers showed up one hour early, turned out to not be an issue, but I was quite specific about the time. Movers were efficient and I had no issues with the move. They moved my apartment to the trailer in 1 hour, that was 13 boxes, one bed, one couch, two side tables and a coffee table, plus a few other items. Drove 15 minutes to my new address and then unloaded in 30 minutes.

Total time 1 hour 45 minutes. No breakages, and due to having 15 minutes left in my two hours they helped assemble my bed. The app is great, you can track your movers in their truck and also the tablet starts the process off when you start so no issues with time accuracy. Overall a very stress free move!

Great service all around. Miguel and his 3-men team were amazing. We made a move from Houston to Austin all within 9 1/2 hours. It was a long day and the expenses added up with the travel time but these guys were A-1. They didn't even take a lunch break on the trip. They showed up on time and were clear and upfront on their services - they even constructed an extra wardrobe box on the spot for my wife with no hassle. Highly recommended.

Javier was awesome. Very diligent and conscientious. His crew worked efficiently and courteously. They were going to be a little late in arriving so they brought a couple extra guys to make the move so smoothly and make up some time. I would definitely recommend them.

Hands down the best moving company I've ever used! They go above and beyond for their customers. Javier and Angel made my very stressful move a BREEZE! They were happy and polite and super quick. They were very clever in how they packed the items and super friendly when I had questions or concerns. This is my 3rd time using Ameritex and I don't plan on going to anyone else!

The team did an amazing job all the way from the office scheduling to the check ins and updates before arrival. The movers also kept me updated with every hour to make sure we stayed within our planned budget. The guys were awesome and worked very hard moving us from a space with two flights of stairs to another space with two flights of interior stairs. I am so happy with Ameritex!

I give Ameritex Movers 5 stars because they delivered on their promise of a stress free move. My wife and I recently moved and hired Ameritex. They were helpful throughout the entire process. Scheduling was easy and the friendly staff offered great resources to help prepare for the day of the move. The moving crew was professional and worked quickly preparing my furniture as well as loading and unloading. The move was a success all my furniture made it undamaged and I didn't have to lift a finger. Strongly Recommend!
