Starving Artists Moving

We have moved more than a dozen times and all around the world and this one move, using Starving Artist Moving Company.from mid-Kansas to Northeast Kansas, has been the absolute worst move ever. They don't communicate.don't finish on time.don't start on-time.don't listen.and don't care if they don't complete your job before moving to another customer.

We only needed to move our household goods 220 miles and they have already taken over a week and still don't have an end in sight. If you have a choice.do not choose this company because you might get stranded and they don't care. Maybe they are "Starving" for a reason.

Kelton and Anthony were incredible. They were personable, respectful, and efficient. Only problem was a late response on why they were late but am still incredibly satisfied with this company.

During the move, Starving Artists damaged my father-in-law's gutter and a stone pillar in the driveway. He called and emailed multiple times about trying to find a reasonable resolution and was totally ghosted by the company. Very disappointing as our extended family had used Starving Artists multiple times and been very generous in looking past previous issues (eg they sent only one mover for an apartment job and I had to spend 4 hours helping get the job done). Would not recommend based on the unprofessionalism.

Starving Artist moving did a great job on my mother in laws move. They arrived at the scheduled time and took great care packing her belongings. They used cardboard sheets, packing blankets and wrapped items in plastic to protect them. The move was completed in a time manner without so much as a scratch. We recommend them highly.

Had a delivery scheduled for yesterday, text for confirmation and email. Appointment was scheduled almost a week out. NO SHOW. Called and spoke with someone and they rescheduled for today. I was told delivery would be here close to 5:00. They would make it right and call about 30 minutes before arrival. It is now almost 8 pm and no call and no show. Half a day of work missed yesterday and all evening today spent waiting again. So unprofessional and unacceptable.

I have done business with Starving Artists for quite some time. After receiving the quote from them I scheduled a day and time. I received an email confirmation with the details. The 2 guys showed up right on time, and were very fast, professional, and took great care to make sure nothing was damaged. They dropped off the item to it's destination in similar fashion. Everything was perfect from start to finish.

These folks arrived on time, were polite and friendly, worked quickly and cautiously, and moved a treadmill from one floor of our home to another. They were done long before they were scheduled to arrive. I am happy to have this done. Although the price seemed steep for the amount of time the actual project took, the charges were actually much lower than any other movers in town.

Starving Artist Moving is the best moving company in Lawrence. They were fast, reliable and very professional.

Fantastic. Jordan & Jessie helped me unload my moving truck last week. They worked quickly, were very professional, courteous and I would highly recommend them. Kelton also arrived that afternoon to help - he was also great. Do not hesitate to hire STARVING ARTISTS MOVING - your belongings deserve a top-notch moving crew handling your move. So important. These guys know how to do it right!

Hired Starving Artists to move two college roommates from an Apartment to a house across town. JD and Nigel were our moving associates and they were outstanding. Professional, courteous,careful and just generally really good and personable guys. I highly recommend and will definitely use again. Very reasonably priced as well.

First-class experience throughout the moving process. We shopped around 3 moving companies in Lawrence on price alone, and after meeting Craig it was no-brainer to use his team's help. He was quick to give us a thorough bid, responsive on questions we had for clarity on moving day, and his team of 4 guys was professional. We were surprised to see the hustle in the squad, Taylor was the foreman and his guys Derrick and 2 others were moving quickly and efficiently all day long. I'll recommend Craig & Starving Artists to any friends that need a trusted mover.
