Due to the COVID-19 pandemic quarantine, my son did not return to college after the spring break. His belongings were in his dorm room. I was at a lost; who to call and what to do. Luckily, Pacific Transfer LLC was on the list of movers to call. After several inquiries, they came in with the most affordable quote for my budget. Brandon and his crew did an incredible job throughout this process; friendly, fast, seamless, professional!

Brandon and his crew at Pacific transfer were amazing. I shipped a container from Hilo and had Pacific Transfer pick it up and unload. As I was making the reservation I was unsure about the shipping dates. Brandon promptly sent a quote and followed up to make sure they were ready when I was. I did not know that this container would take 4 guys to unload and I only asked for 2.
When we discovered the daunting task ahead, Pacific transfer sent out more guys and they unloaded the container quickly. All the guys worked hard and were super efficient. Highly recommended

Once again I used Pacific Transfer for my move. Brandon has been a wonderful help every inch of the way. He is knowledgeable and very trustworthy. The crew he sent to do the move were professional, efficient, hard-working, and very careful. I could not have asked for a better outcome. Our actual packing day was fine. I felt bad for the guys because the person that came to do the pre-move inspection of our belongings grossly underestimated how much we had. There were three guys and it took them all day. They worked hard, we provided breakfast and lunch as well as tipping them $20 each at the end. We thought all was good until our belongings were delivered on the mainland.
They didn't seal two of our crates properly and half of our belongings were soaked in Hawaii then grew mold during the transfer. We can't salvage this stuff from water damage and mold. So whoever was responsible for securing the crates failed big time. This was our first government contracted move in 14 years that we have experienced such problems.
Yes we can file a claim but these were our personal belongings and things we've collected throughout the world. It's devastating to see your things arrive in such bad condition that shows how little this company actually cares.

If there was an option to place 0 stars, I would have chosen that. The 1 star is due to the after packing experience. We had such a good time with the 3 men that we gave them bottles water and $20 each for lunch. Upon arrival of my goods, the moving team discovered that my boxes had been tampered with and found bathroom items in non bathrooms boxes.
For example, my $804 bottle of Tom Ford perfume was removed from the other 2 Tom Ford bottles in the bathroom box and placed in the parts box. The parts box was a box the Pacific Transfer team created and brought on moving day to store bed parts when they dismantled my bed. No bathroom items would have been placed in there as they were packed in other boxes. Further, after filing a claim and the insurance company interviewed the Pacific Transfer team, they lied indicating that the parts box is where the bottle was packed into and that the bottle was empty when packed in Honolulu.
The parts box when opened by the owner of the moving team at my arrival destination noticed the box had been soaked and the bottle empty and the wrapping sticking from the perfume liquid. The bottle was not packed empty. After calling Brandon the moving manager twice and leaving messages, he left for the day without returning my call. Further, as a kamaina, I regret to share this horrific experience scarred by the lies of the Pacific Transfer team.

3 man team was fast in the morning then slowed down big time in the afternoon when they realized that they didn't much left to pack. Started taking longer breaks and chit chatting. Sales manager Brandon demanded immediate payment sending me two email notices the same day! My household goods didn't even leave on Monday as expected rather it took a couple of days to weigh them and give me a final price.
Since I had already left island my realtor informed me that the ceiling fan had been damaged. Informed Brandon about the damaged but denied it stating I had already signed the clearance. Who stares up at the ceiling anyway? I was focused on wall damage. If anything the movers should have been honest and come up front with the damaged they caused. Lesson learned!

Absolutely amazing! Very professional and courteous. I am a worrier and watched them pack all my stuff and they did so with so much care. This was a military move and I can say, hands down Pacific Transfer is my favorite. (This is our 5th move) At the end of the first day Travis called to make sure everything was going smoothly. I wish I can remember all of the gentleman's names that packed our stuff but I can't.
I would like to thank them from the bottom of my heart! You have definitely made this move less stressful. Cal and Pono worked so hard and answered all of my questions, I can't thank you enough! You two have made this move one to remember. You kindness did not go unnoticed. Thank you so much!

I'm not sure why these guys don't get better ratings, they are great packers! Having moved almost 30 times in my life, I am very familiar with how it goes. These guys were professional and fun, quick and did a fantastic job. They packed the crates with tetris skills and on the other side we haven't found a single thing damaged! They did great with valuables, breakables, and normal goods alike.
They listened and took care of our concerns as well. Great communication from setting up the packing to when tjey drove away with our stuff. I am always nervous of movers and how they handle stuff that isn't theirs, but these guys got you covered! Highly recommend. Thanks for the stress free move!

This was a military move. There was 4 guys to pack our household goods. Its just my spouse and I so they had no reason to be stressed. They packed and loaded over the course of 3 days. The guys seemed nice and harmless enough. Until we unpacked our stuff and found multiple things wrong: 1. the hardware box didnt have half the hardware in it to the items they took apart.
Specifically our TV stand and legs to our table. 2. They damaged several items with poor packing 3. before they left, we realized that They did not pack everything. On our final walk through closets had been left unpacked, kitchen items left behind. 4. The biggest---they stole our brand new Bose portable speaker. I could explain all th details in how we know it was stolen, but long story short we allowed these guys to use it, and when it was the last thing left in the house, we asked them to pack it and its now no where to be found. We've unpacked every box and are fairly organized people. 1 year later, still no speaker to be found.
We called pacific transfer about this as soon as we realized and naturally they kept telling me they dont remember anything. We specifically told them to pack that speaker so they knew it was ours, and not one of the guys. I would be very careful in making sure your expensive items are written on your inventory list. and we tipped and fed these guys.

When they were at the house they were nice and courteous, except for one person who broke something glass and just handed it to me in a paper bag without saying anything. I still have no idea what it was cause he wouldn't explain and it was broken pretty bad. After they left I checked the house, the next day I noticed a a few random things in our storage which o didn't check.that they had not packed.
Mainly they choose not to pack my daughters bike attachment cart. I am Livid. I told them multiple times to pack it and they had folded it up and stuck it in the back of the storage room. There were a few random things as we they left behind, small things that were just set in a pile almost like they forgot to box this pile up. I am very frusterated and upset we are moving off island and now I have to sell these items and especially the kids bike tow which o will have to re buy when we get to our destination.
They also left our garage a mess, we share a garage with another family (duplex) they had thrown trash and boxes etc all over the garage including my neighbors side. I will update when I see how things are when they make it to our destination at this point I am very disappointed.

Everybody knows that moving companies depend on honest employees to keep their reputation spotless. Fortunately for us, we got an incredible crew which was led by a great driver/leader named Keali'i. He was extremely professional, courteous, and totally friendly. Our baby girl even said hi to him every time he would shuttle in and out of the house.
His crew packed all of our belongings with diligence and care. They ensured that each item was wrapped in layers of packing paper and properly marked. I had NO reservations when it came to signing the inventory, as Keali'i was meticulous when it came to specifying each item in detail. He even made suggestions when it came down to listing things on the high value sheet.
This showed that he is not only proud of his company, but that he cares about his own reputation as well. I am thoroughly impressed with his and his crew's performance. Many mahalos and we will be sure to ask for him and his crew again! A hui hou!

AWFUL! I should have meticulously watched them pack--things were thrown in boxes without being wrapped-pictures, glass, candles. An open cigar was thrown in with sheets and unwrapped pictures and toiletries. I bought them lunch & they complained that I got the order wrong--THEN one guy told me to go out and buy them energy drinks-- with my own money!. He then proceeded to talk about tipping-- I presume because he expected one. The moving company who delivered our things noted how poorly our things were packed--

Pacific Transfer is the local agent for Atlas Van Lines and offer moving services, trucking and other freight services. My review is strictly for their moving services that I used for my recent move from the West Coast. I found their staff to be extremely prompt and extremely friendly. From the point that their staff contacted me to arrange my delivery to the point that they left, they were extremely professional and I would certainly use them again.
Their moving staff arrived right when they promised and didn't leave me waiting or having to keep twiddling my thumbs to await for their arrival. Who would have thought? They were quick and setup my furniture exactly where I told them. A very good service and at a very good price. I certainly would use them if I am given the opportunity to do so!
