Owner Ron Wallace Jr, Marcus and Eric were hired to move my items to a storage unit. During the move the team fought often were very unprofessional. when it came to heavy things they were unless. They broke the doors off of a brand new refrigerator, damaged the cord and the water hose connector. This item was a month old. Wow weeks later the storage unit Manger called and stated that this time was back in the storage yard and caught on camera and my unit was in locked.

Ron Wallace, the owner, is not to be trusted! Pay close attention to your receipt before you pay! He cheated me out of $540! He claims to have mailed two checks to me which I never received. He also even refuses to acknowledge damage to my furniture which occurred during the move. I was charged for three workers. The two guys he hired worked very hard while he mostly stayed in the truck smoking and pushing buttons for the hydraulic lift.
His workers told me he drove very slow between the two places to get even more money. Ron Wallace is very rude and disrespectful, not only to me but also to my six year-old grandson and my 17 year-old daughter. He makes a big deal about being a Christian. Ha!

If I could give this company zero stars I would. I moved from a one bedroom apt to a one bedroom apt. It took 9 hours for them to get it done. Everything was packed and ready to go when they got there. My building had stairs which I readily admit were difficult to navigate, but 9 hours? The two guys actually doing the work, worked hard but they did not seem to know what they were doing.
I doubt it was their fault. Didn't seem as though they had been properly trained. They could not figure out how to get my couch down the stairs, but I do not fault them. The owner is responsible for proper training. I have an expensive leather couch which at one point was dragged on the concrete- no wrapping or pads on it. It took them over a solid hour to figure out how to get the couch down the stairs.
My couch has nicks and tears on the leather and the own said, "all I can do is apologize". He was going to charge almost $1300 to move a one bedroom apt plus damage my property. He offered me a $100 discount. I said no. He ended up coming down about $300. Ron, the owner is rude, but pretends to be a concerned Christian. Don't even consider using this company.
The worst moving company i have ever seen. I'm out $1000 and I have a damage leather couch. He looked at me and said, "I thought you were giving me a tip". The tip here is to keep "movin on" and look for another company.

My husband got hired at the last minute for a job four hours from where we lived. We've been stressed trying to find a place and get everything ready to move within two weeks. He called this company to see if they could help us unload our moving truck when we got there. Ron Wallace, the apparent owner, was very rude to my husband and even laughed at him when he said what day we needed to move. I don't care how professional the movers are. Do not give business to a man that doesn't respect his customers. Stay away from this business and it's arrogant owner.

I had the pleasure of working with Leslie and his 2 other crew members. He was AWESOME, straight to the point and has been moving items for over 13 years. He would be the reason I would return BUT as far as Mr. Ron Wallace I would not. I'm sorry but he came to my apartment to "see how things were going" and made it very uncomfortable for me. It was a little pricey for the truck they had as well. I would think their truck would have AC and would go faster than 55 miles per hour. Hopefully the owner gets better equipment for these guys. The 4 stars are for the movers.

Unfortunately, I am leaving this review for the VERY BRIEF conversation I had with Ron Wallace earlier today. Yesterday I made many calls to moving companies in the New Braunfels/San Antonio area; probably around 20+. Movin On was one of two businesses I left a message with. The other returned my call yesterday, shortly after my call. Movin On did not call me back until today, but no problem.
I completely understand it's a busy time especially for moving companies and I was able to find a company to assist me with my move. When I answered his call today he said "Hi Leanne, this is Ron Wallace with Movin On. You called and left a message yesterday." I said "Oh yes I did but I've found someone to help me with my move, but thank you for calling back." That was returned with a very snarky remark, "So that's why you didn't call back." I told him I didn't have any missed calls or messages from him or the company to which he argued he called back yesterday and left a message but obviously I wasn't calling him back because I had already found someone.
I told him I knew for sure I had no message from him or his company. He hung up. Infuriated, I double checked all of my call logs and deleted voicemails - NOTHING from him or his company number like I had said. I almost called back to chew him out but honestly, he's not worth it, except to leave this poor review. Treating potential customers like that is just pathetic, and I am SO glad he hadn't answered yesterday because after reading some of these reviews, seems like he's not an upstanding businessman or "Christian" as he claims to be.
You do not treat people like that or lie to them. I hate writing bad reviews but this one is warranted. Take your business elsewhere, people. "God bless." -His voicemail greeting.

I called Ron to help me move from my apartment to my new home. I got the appointment scheduled and got an estimate sent to me by email. However, I had to cancel my appointment and called Ron to do so. Once he asked me when I was going to reschedule, I apologized and said I won't be rescheduling. He said ok and hung up on me. This was unprofessional and I don't appreciate being hung up on. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone! Hire another company that is more reputable.
