I was very happy with my experience with this company and would recommend A-Anytime Movers for anyone considering a local move. I moved between apartments in the DMV area. Daphne was very responsive via email and clearly/directly provided information about my move. I spoke to Chris over the phone a few times too and he was kind, patient, and always willing to answer my many questions. Troy, Barry, and Walter were my movers and were phenomenal.

They were extremely friendly, respectful, worked so hard in the heat, and did everything in a very timely fashion. They asked me if things were going as I planned/imagined throughout the day which was thoughtful. Of special note, I requested them to try to come as early as possible the morning of given timing concerns with the freight/other movers at my destination, and they came slightly EARLY which I was not expecting. They really listened to my concerns and tried to accommodate my requests. I will use this company again for future moves. Thank you to the team!

Excellent moving service. We hired them recently for two bedrooms+. They sent three men who were highly efficient and organized. The whole process was wrapped up in a couple of hours. Will certainly hire them again in the future.

I hired Anytime Movers for their POD loading services. Moving is stressful, but Troy and Barry put me completely at ease. They were prompt, friendly, and efficient, taking the time to wrap furniture as needed and using care with delicate items. They even helped to disassemble my bed and close up a few remaining boxes. Would highly recommend!

Anytime Movers arrived early for our move and were ready to work! I appreciated the excellent customer service leading up to the move and the positive attitudes of the moving crew. They made quick work of our townhouse, being careful to pack our TV and other fragile items with care. We did have one dresser that we realized after the fact had broken, but all in all it was a great experience and I would hire them again!

I was really happy with my moving experience here. They sent three movers for my 1BR apartment and they worked pretty quickly. I was happy with the speed of things, and wasn't charged for the time they stopped to grab lunch, etc. My move cost about $550 excluding tip. One corner of a small nightstand got damaged in the move. I sent a picture to Anytime and they arranged for it to be repaired at a local woodshop (including pickup and drop-off of the item).

The nightstand looks just as it did before. They are not perfect - but when they make a mistake they work extra hard to rectify it, which is all I can ask for. Really pleased with the customer service here.

This was my first time hiring a moving company. I got this place from a friend's recommendation. I probably wouldn't use them again. They arrived on time, introduced themselves, and were friendly throughout the move. During our move out, nothing was damaged, and they worked relatively fast. They even called a supplemental truck when they thought the items wouldn't fit, I think they all would have fit in one if stacked more efficiently and the lead mover agreed with me.

The issues occurred during our move in to the new place. It was a brand new construction condo and I had put that there were difficult stairs on the estimate, but they still seemed surprised upon arrival. My stair walls came out looking pretty beat up after they finished, they did warn me of some damage that occurred during the move. It just sucks that after moving into a brand new condo, I have to spend a weekend fixing dents, chips, and scratches in my walls, ceilings, and hand rails.

Especially the bunky board that caused the most damage, they could have asked me to take it apart or done it themselves. It was only two bolts, they could have stopped, taken it apart instead of jamming it upstairs denting and scratching everything up. Lastly, they were smoking during my move outside, I didn't love the smell of smoke on my belongings, but I was able to air it out. They were a good price point, just not sure if I would utilize again, a more professional company might be better.

I recently moved into a new apartment and needed to pick up items from one apartment and a storage unit and drop off to the ultimate destination. The movers were a little late arriving the morning of, but I did receive a text message. Upon arrival, I was very impressed with the service. They navigated a giant moving truck through a tiny alley, and three movers proceeded to rapidly handled my move.

Maybe my expectations were too low, but this trio were in and out at least an hour or more quicker than I expected. They were friendly, efficient, and nothing broke. And the price was better than a few other places I had contacted. I'd definitely recommend.

Highly recommend A-Anytime Movers. Super responsive and efficient from scheduling through Yelp, all the way through the move and payment. Communication with Daphne was too-notch. Reese and the rest of the movers were exceptional. Moving is stressful enough, but having a great moving company takes a lot of the stress away on moving day. I will definitely use them again.

Chris at A-Anytime definitely knows customer service. After my review, I was promptly contacted by the company and shortly after had a long talk with the owner, Chris. He was very apologetic and I could tell that he was sincere. He expressed extreme disappointment in the way that my move was handled and more than made up for my experience, even 2+ years later.

It helped that they still had records of my move still. Because of the way this situation was handled and because I could tell that Chris was really sincere and remorseful, I decided to use them again for my most recent move. The movers this time around were night and day from the previous movers and they were actually very nice. One of them arrived a little late but that was acknowledged by Chris so I won't hold that against them.

More importantly, all three movers were very fast and efficient. I was shocked at how quickly they moved, especially with there only being two in the beginning. There was some small damage to one item and that item was promptly replaced. Overall, I am extremely pleased with my move this time around and would absolutely recommend these guys, even though I forgot their names.

Normally I wouldn't make a huge jump from 1-star to 5-stars but I'm really impressed with the way Chris addressed my concerns and the way these most recent movers handled my move. I'd definitely use them again now.

Update: anytime movers called me, apologized for how slow my move was, and adjusted my bill significantly. This makes me feel as though the slow move was not a money grab, but was just their team having an off day. They also noted that my move was actually scheduled to begin at 9:30 (I guess I put it in my calendar wrong) -- so the movers were only 10 min late which is totally acceptable. However, I'm still only giving four stars, because no matter the price, no one wants a move to go on any longer than it has to, and my move was painfully slow. Furthermore, it's literally never acceptable for a mover to comment on his client's appearance out of the blue. Still, I'd be willing to give the company another shot in the hopes that I just had them on an off day.

Anytime Movers offers top notch service! This is my fourth move with this company and I've had a wonderful experience each and every time. I've also referred quite frequently to friends who have also had nothing but great things to say about their service. Anytime movers is quick, efficient and affordable. They make the headache of a move so much less painful. Highly recommend!

If I could give them 10 stars, I would! I had a move that included 3 locations and several furniture shifts. They did it all in 4 hours! The guys handled it with efficiency and total organization. They were so lovely to work with, even when plans changed and they had to carry a couch up 6 flights of stairs Also, the price can't be beat. I'll be calling again for my next move!

A-Anytime Movers were very professional and friendly. From their quick response time to my initial inquiry and professional communication through Yelp to the move itself, the customer service was great from start to finish. Three movers arrived on time and worked efficiently for the most part, especially after we communicated to them the closing times for the loading docks at the two locations to which my furniture and items were being moved.

They were flexible and accommodated the changes that we had to make in the middle of the move, such as the order of the drop-off locations. I was impressed by how they were able to quickly unload and fit my items in a storage unit that I worried was too small for what was being moved into it. My only issue was with how payment is made at the end of the move.

For those who choose to pay by credit card rather than cash, customers should not be asked to write down their card information on a paper or have to give their card number to a stranger over the phone. That is a security risk for the customer. A electronic payment system on a mobile device can easily be used for payments that ensures a secure transaction for both the customer and A-Anytime Movers. Except for this, which is a serious concern, I would not otherwise hesitate to rebook with this company for my next move.

Professionals with a family-owned business feel, great service from highly-responsive initial inquiry managed by Daphney, through Chris anticipating needs I hadn't even considered - they get it. Anytime stored property for me over a weekend, and then moved exactly on time and faster than I thought they could. Overall best-value in moving I've ever experienced. I recently used Anytime Movers based on a great review. I'm now passing that along. These guys were great. From the start Daphney made scheduling easy and she was always easy to contact with questions. My crew, headed by Kevin, was great. Each person introduced themselves which I really appreciated. My furniture was wrapped very well. Best I've ever experienced. Kevin stayed in close touch throughout the move which was Baltimore to Washington.

I would have given 5 stars at that point. But then, with all my belongings in the truck outside my new apartment I lost the keys and we could not move in that day. Very stressful as you can imagine. . Staff at anytime movers were calm and Chris offered a solution of safely storing my stuff until the next day. I was not charged for the storage. We were able to complete the move the next day. I highly recommend this company. When things got tough they were there.

Anytime Movers was a breeze to work with going from my two bedroom apartment to a house. They came on time, worked diligently and rushed to finish the job in the planned window so they wouldn't need to charge me for extra time. We had a dresser that wouldn't fit up the turn of our new stairs. In trying to get it up the stairs, they ended up scratching the wall in two places.

I might not have noticed it but they owned up to having damaged the wall and sent two people to fix the damage fully which I really appreciated. I had to hire movers for a smaller office move job a few months after using Anytime Movers and they were, unfortunately, booked up. The other moving company I ended up using cost 50% more to move half as much stuff and somehow took longer which was incredibly frustrating. Comparing the two experiences, I'll always go with Anytime Movers!

I've engaged this moving company twice and will continue to do so in the future. I first engaged them for a full move in 2018, and engaged them again to donate furniture to a charity. They provide great, professional and timely service, and they are very reasonably priced in comparison to other companies.

I booked a move for my one bedroom apartment from apartment to uhaul. Chaka and Calvin were on time, personable, and professional. The move went as seamless as it possibly could've. All of my belongings were well wrapped to protect them in transit and my (large) plant children even made it to their new home unscathed. I would highly recommend them for a move!

Anytime movers ended up being a great choice for my move. Scheduling the move was extremely easy. Daphney, the scheduling coordinator, answered my emails with lightning speed and got me a quote right away. She also answered my follow-up questions immediately so there were absolutely no surprises. She recommended the larger truck for my move to make sure everything would fit.

Since this company does not charge extra for a larger truck, it was an easy decision and ended up working out great. The 3-man crew arrived at my apartment precisely on time at 9:30 AM and got to work right away. They were extremely fast and efficient in loading/unloading the truck. At the new apartment, they asked where I would like things placed as they brought them into the apartment.

Everything arrived undamaged in one piece. The whole move (out of a 1 BR apartment) took 2.5 hours which made it really affordable. They make it really easy to pay by credit card (and do not add a surcharge to do this, like some other companies do!) No hidden fees or "extras." Just the quoted rate that was given to me upfront. All of this combined for a seamless move at an incredible value. Would definitely use them again!

A-Anytime Movers were great. We had an in-town move from a Storage unit and a house to our new home. The team was extremely quick, asked where to put stuff at our new house and were professional throughout the entire process.

I will never use another moving company again! This was my 4th move in the DC area and it was by far the least stressed I have ever been during a move. The team- Gregory, Chino, and Freddie- were the most efficient crew I have ever seen. They showed up early and were ready to work! There was a small issue with the loading doc. (my fault, not theirs) so the team hustled to get me out of the old place in 45mins flat.

In total, they moved my entire one bedroom apartment in under 2hrs. I was so thrilled I didn't even care that there was a 2hr minimum payment! Anytime's front office was a pleasure to work with as well. A week out from my move they let me move up the arrival time and were always quick to respond. I can not recommend this service enough!

This company is GREAT! I had a last minute item that I need moved. I requested a quote the night before (my bad), and when I woke up in the morning I had an emailed response. They squeezed me in, and coordinated pick-up and delivery at an affordable price. Communication went smoothly, and they let me know when they had arrived to pick up as well as when they delivered the item. I am so appreciative and satisfied. They have great customer service, reasonable rates, and overall were great to deal with. 5 stars for sure!

I have used Anytime Movers three times and each time I was extremely pleased with their service! Mostly recently they moved me from a studio apartment to a one-bedroom, and the three-person team moved with incredible speed, care, and friendly attitude. They got the move done within the 2-hour timeframe they quoted, and brought all of the moving supplies needed (dolly, padding, plastic to wrap furniture).

I was especially impressed how just one mover squeezed my entire couch through a tiny doorframe. Part of my ottoman was knocked off during the move, but the movers took it back to the shop for repair, and the manager, Chris, hand-delivered the repaired piece to my new place. I really appreciate how they brought the broken piece to my attention and resolved the issue the same weekend.

I should mention the movers arrived 30 minute after my scheduled time, but they finished the move within two hours as promised, and starting a little late wasn't a big deal for me. This company is super affordable and I would recommend to anyone!

This was my first experience using movers and it was honestly the best from start to finish! My estimated move time was 2 pm and they were 30 mins early which was awesome. They got started right away and had the place (a small studio) packed in less than 45 mins. Same process for moving to the new place. I have moved a whole lot and I've tried so many of the top rated movers in this area. These guys were so good that I'm saving them in my contacts list. They were early, incredibly friendly, careful with everything, and came in way under my budget. Then to make matters even more impressive, at the end of the move, my tv somehow cracked on the edge of the screen. Shockingly, they showed me the crack immediately and went out and replaced the it. I can say, with confidence, there are no better movers in the DMV.

They are the best in the area! Very professional and on time. I had to move a few large items, last minute on a Sunday. They made it happen and everything was done perfectly. They were great. From the quote process to the actual move they were so helpful, prompt and kind. The movers were covid compliant, beyond helpful even taking spare boxes and materials to the trash and offering advice for a tight space to maximize. They were so friendly and helpful. Chano the lead / point of contact for the day was the shining star.

You can tell he does this a lot and really wants to make this easy on the customer. He's amazing! The rate was great compared to local moving companies and very reasonable for furniture assembly too. Would not hesitate to use again.

I cannot sing the praises of Anytime Movers enough! I had a local move within DC (two-bedroom apartment), the problem being our new unit was on the fourth floor of a building with no elevator. We also had problems enforcing our parking permit in the front of the new building, but the movers from Anytime worked around it and still got the job done quickly, effectively, professionally, and at a reasonable price.

While I was wary of creating more work than necessary for them after carrying all my furniture and boxes up four flights of stairs and was more than satisfied with just getting stuff in the new unit, the movers never failed to ask if I wanted something in a specific room or not and handled every item with care. They also did this in masks and observing proper COVID procedures. Worth every dollar! Will hire again for my next move!

They have excellent customer service.* I've used Anytime Movers twice. First time was awesome. The second time was not great. The most recent time was moving from a studio to a one bedroom a couple hundred feet on the same floor in the same building.

I moved everything myself except five pieces of wood furniture that I didn't want damaged. And I took apart and plastic wrapped the large bedframe/credenza. First issue-I booked an 930am slot and they arrived 45 minutes late for a move that lasted less than 30 minutes. I can overlook this. Second issue that bothers me- they put the wood bed frame on top of the wood credenza on the dolly.

Wood on wood didn't damage anything. But then they proceeded to rest the steel bed frame slats on top of the walnut bed frame. Metal on wood = dents. It would have taken 2 minutes to move the slats separately. During my first move with them from a three story walkup there was zero damage. But this time because it was expedient and easy there was damage. I don't mind spending money on a quick move but the whole point was not to mar a $2,100 Room & Board bed frame.

I first came across Anytime Movers through the U-Haul site. After looking into the company further I came across the 5-star reviews and decided to go with them. I am soooo glad I made that decision. Anytime Movers offered excellent and professional service from the initial inquiry to the day of my move. They were even flexible when I had to make a last minute schedule change. Troy, Barry, and Walter were so friendly and polite.

Not only were they early they also got the move completed in under 3hrs. This was my first time ever using professional movers and I'm so happy I had such a great experience. I will absolutely use them again for future moves.

They did a great job, the movers communicated well and went out of their way to help. They accidentally kept some of my shelves (took apart to move) but called by immediately and had them back the next day! Removing a star, because my nightstand was damaged - the bottom was broken and no one told me just set it in my room. When I finally got to unpacking the box for it, I couldn't put anything inside because the bottom doesn't have any wood inside it anymore.

If I had noticed sooner, I'm sure they would resolve but feel bad having not gotten around to it for over a week. Would recommend them, they're responsive and cost effective with great customer service.

I really enjoyed my experience with this moving company. They answered all my questions via email prior to booking the move. They showed up EXACTLY on time when the move started, and it only took them a few hours to complete my local move. The guys were very friendly and professional, and really made it such an easy process. It was also incredibly well priced, and the best option I found in the DC area. (10outof10) During the pandemic things have been hard, and trying to find a new apartment was its own game. Anytime Movers came to my rescue and was very professional with there service. All my furniture was wrapped, handled with care, and delivered to my new apartment on-time. I couldn't have done the heavy lifting with out the help from the two gents who helped me get settled into my new home. (Also this happened the day after the capitol crap show) (thanks to Anytime Movers for saying we will show up and move you out quickly)(amen) Thank you Anytime Movers, I appreciate your efficiency and professional support!

UPDATE: shortly after I submitted my review, Lee from Anytime Movers reached out to me and was very apologetic about the scratches and missing charger. He offered to send people over to fix my furniture for free, and he ordered the same charger and cable for me from Amazon. Their customer service is really great and I'll definitely reach out to this company again the next time I move!
