Budget Movers

Mike, Brian and Steve arrived early this morning. Before starting they assessed the area and asked questions to be sure we all understood what was to be done. Once they got started they were very careful with my furniture and other belongings. They were conscientious and thorough when wrapping everything and moving it. They were all very professional with a great work ethic. If I ever need anything moved again I would choose this same team of young men.

I can't say enough kind things about Budget Movers. They donate their truck, time, and amazing driver Laz to Snack Pak for Kids SA on a continuous basis. They have hearts for service and truly lift up our San Antonio community. I would highly recommend them based on the professionalism and care.

Budget Movers is the ONLY moving company I call in San Antonio. They show up on time, have reasonable prices and are very pleasant. They are delicate with your furniture and I've never had a broken piece yet. I've used them 4-5 times already and recommend them to all my friends and family. Most recently, Ricky, Brian and DJ helped moved some furniture and they were very friendly and fast! Thank you, Budget!

Budget Movers we're exceptional from the start. I called them (Jake - the owner) somewhat short notice and luckily he had a crew available to pack and drop off my furniture same. The estimate was basically spot on as well. The crew (Ricky, DJ and Kev) were outstanding! They were very professional and took extra care when moving my furniture. I will definitely use them again in the future as I highly recommend them.

I used them for an in-town move. They answer the telephone promptly and get you information about how your move can be done. They gave great advice about the size of storage unit I would need and because they like attention to detail, sent an estimator out promptly to make sure that the move would take place with everything needed on the day of the move.

They were prompt on arrival and worked efficiently--both the packing crew and the truck moving crew. I was impressed at their professionalism and handling of our household goods.

I was getting ready to move and when I needed some help quick. I was sent two movers, Nathan F and Anthony L. These guys were polite, quick, and careful. My storage space was a little bit smaller than I was expecting but these guys were able to carefully maneuver everything so that it fit like a glove. The price was a little bit more than I was expecting but still a fairly good deal.

I hired Budget Movers to bring my household from Lakeway to Boerne. Jake set the move up with no hitches and the two movers, Alan and Jerry showed up on time and worked very diligently and quickly. They were very clean and courteous. Alan and Jerry did an excellent job and none of my belongings were damaged or lost. They were very careful and detailed in every way and performed their duties quickly. If I ever move again, I'll definitely use this company and I recommend them to anyone needing a good reliable company to move anything.

Laz, William and Tim were great! Very efficient and courteous as well as hard working. They moved household furnishings from one 4 bedroom house to another house and storage unit 80 miles away, all in 8 hours! I would recommend Budget Movers to anyone wanting a professional team at a fantastic price!

Our crew was Stephen H, Brian S, Jesus C, and Anthony L, and they were great. They were friendly, quick, and made sure to update us on their arrival time (we moved to the Houston area so it was a bit of a drive here!) Nothing was damaged during our move that I can find, and they were even able to work in extra time to finish packing our house when we had an illness in the family and couldn't.

I'd absolutely recommend them to anyone needing a quality moving company in the San Antonio area. We had a horrendous experience with the last moving co paby we used, and Budget Movers were a breath of fresh air.

This company is the only one I will ever use! Everything went smoothly from the very first phone call. Jake is excellent to work with. He is prompt, friendly and efficient. On moving day, our movers Jesus and Hekima, were amazing. Polite, patient and made sure everything was handled smoothly. Do not hesitate to use this company for your moving needs!

These guys did a great job and were polite and after i gave them tips i realized there was a missing iPhone from the counter (there were 3). I called and the office manager said he knows these (20 something year old guys) and they have integrity and would never. TUH! I'm pissed I tipped.

Not only did they show up late but they were mutes, no customer service. Three pieces of furniture including a table, a bookcase and recliner showed visible wear after move. Will not be calling them again. And I HIGHLY recommend people stay away.

Chris and his team moved me on a moments notice actually Lazarus and Michael were at my front door in one hour. Lazarus and Michael handled my possessions as if they were their own. This move was the third move I did with Chris and his team with care and trouble free. Thank you to Chris, Lazarus and Michael for an outstanding job.

Good crew. Paid for by the hour (think it was 165/hr for a three man crew plus something like a 125 dispatch fee which is on the higher end of the spectrum). The crew seemed to hustle but still be careful with our stuff. The move took less than the estimated time, partly because it was a close move and we did the prep work like taking apart the beds and moving over awkward things that don't stack well on our in the days before but also because they worked hard. Lazaro was the crew leader and worked hard. Btw a crew that does a good job should be tipped. We tip pizza guys. These guys work even harder.

Outstanding Move This was my 5th move using Chris and his crew. My first experience was in 2008 and like the last 4 moves, all I had to do is hand job to Chris and get out of the way. His crews are professional, courteous, prompt and most of all always moving. All I can say is if you dread the thought of moving look no further than Chris Rullo and his moving Ninjas!

Budget Movers is simply the best. They packed us up, stored our things for six months and delivered everything to our new apartment without a single problem and it was a complicated move. Most of our things went into storage, but some went to a new office, too. Chris Rullo, the owner, personally checked on everything at each step of the process and could not have been more helpful. This is the kind of professional service you want, especially as no move is easy. I cannot recommend Budge Movers highly enough.

Budget came in significantly lower than our other bids. Chris was super helpful and professional and very understanding that our move was in phases and very fluid in terms of dates and quantities. Lazarus, Josh, Christian and Alex did both of our moves and these guys were rock solid superstars. Courteous and kind, fast and furious, everything accounted for and in one piece no scrapes, scratches, dings or dents. Would absolutely use Budget again. Thanks Y'All!

Budget Movers was excellent. I was moving my one bedroom apartment from Houston to San Antonio, and I have a lot of stuff for a one bedroom. They showed up in the morning on time after a three-hour drive and carefully packed what I hadn't had time to pack. Delivery was the next morning early and they were as quick as could be and careful. Very professional, and Chris, the owner stopped by as they were finishing up to make sure everything was right, which it was, and which I appreciated.

This is by far the best moving company I have ever used. The owner, Chris, takes a personal interest and makes sure that the move is done carefully and well. His employees are helpful and courteous and make a very stressful time quite stress free. I have used them 5 times and would not consider using anyone else in San Antonio.

I have used Budget Movers twice in the last two years. From the front office to the crew that loaded the truck, everyone was professional, polite and hard working. I highly recommend these folks. They recently loaded a truck for our move to McKinney (3 bedroom house), and not a single item was broken or scratched. Great company!

If you enjoy cursing, apathy, slow moves, and broken items, this is your Best choice. We use them once and they were great. The next time we used them was like a visit to the twilight zone. I think we may have actually found the wrong company, The company had changed owners, or something. In this instance the movers were slow, they cursed a lot at each other, and broke some of our furniture.

One man who was working was in unable to speak English, which is not a problem; The problem was that his English speaking co mover was calling him racial slur's throughout the entire move. I wanted to give them a second chance when we were making a third move. I call the owners and told them about our experience, mention that I didn't think that was the way they wanted to run their business, and that I wanted to give them another chance.

They said sarcastically good luck on your move, and never called us back. We ended up using three men movers and they were the most awesome company I've seen in 20 years. I wrote a review on them also and suggest you check them out.

We moved from San Antonio, Texas to Omaha, Nebraska. The initial estimate was $3,600. They told us that the actual costs would be based on the weight of the move, determined after boxes and furniture was loaded on the truck. Shortly after they picked up our stuff, they sent us an invoice titled "Final Invoice" for $4,200. When the truck arrived in Omaha, their agent did not notify us and put all of our furniture in storage for $80 dollars a day.

In the end they forced us to pay an additional $2,400 for stroage and reloading our furniture, otherwise they wouldn't deliver! Their estimate: $3,600. Actual cost: $6,600. Total damage caused by Budget Movers, Inc. to our furniture: $3,500. Reimbursement from Budget: $0. Nobody at Budget or their agent in Omaha mentioned that there could be an additional charge, neither the initial estimate nor the invoice after weighting indicated that there could be an additional charge for storage.

Of course, we talked to Budget, and they explained to us that the possibility of these additional charges are mentioned in their terms and conditions. By accepting their offer we would accept their terms and conditions. This is bad business practice. The "final" invoice should contain all actual and at least mention possible additional costs. I would avoid Budget Movers, Inc. at all costs. If you decide to move with them, be prepared for the extra charges and your furniture damaged.

I've used Budget Movers in the past (getting ready to use them again). Last time they were great--they had my 1 BR apartment loaded, moved, and unloaded on the other side of town in about 2 1/2 hours. They sent three guys and they were very efficient, courteous, and professional. This was the most hassle-free move I've ever done and would recommend them to anyone.
