I had a great experience using Men in the Move! During a highly stressful time, they made things very easy. The movers were professional, fast and very efficient with space since we were moving our belongings into a storage unit. I also underestimated the number of boxes I had during the initial quote and they were still able to complete the move for $200 less than my quote. I highly recommended letting men on the move handle your next move!

I used Men on the Move recently for my move from a 2nd floor unit to another 2nd floor unit with no elevator. I was lucky to have a 3rd guy on the move who was in training. Either way, I found the gentleman to be professional and fast and they threw in lots of jokes along the way. They even skipped their brief break to keep things going for me. I was VERY satisfied. Nothing was damaged. There was a slight smear on my big TV but nothing more. Great job, I would use them again.

This was the worst experience that I have ever had with a moving company. They started out being 1 1/2 hours late. Then the men moved slower then a snail. They told me that my move would take 5 hours. And it ended up taking them almost 9 hours.and the only reason it got done then is because I had myself and 3 other people helping to unload the truck, which I should not of had to lift a finger to move. Called the office the next day to complain and and all i got was oh they was sorry I wasn't happy.

I told them that I felt that I needed to be compensated and they said that they would have to check into it and they would get back to me. WELL it's been 3 days and STILL HAVE NOT HEARD BACK FROM THEM. NOT VERY HAPPY WITH THEM.

Great experience with this company! Blake and Phil were my two movers and were polite, professional and on time. Took excellent care with moving and transporting furniture from old house to the new one. I will definitely be using them again in the future.

I can't believe this! The first thing out of the movers mouth is we can do this on the side. He wanted to cut the company out of the transaction. He said I wasn't ready to move but he could come back. Everything is in boxes and bins! I called the company and told them about my interaction. I walked to the front of the house and the truck was gone! Who does this?

Office staff is amazing, movers are top notch. Not mention, their rates are better then every where else by a lot. They for sure make moving easier

My move was handled with respect, care and professionalism. As an example, I asked if they would wear a face mask and they complied. Also, I received comments from the manager of my storage unit. He stated that your organizational skills are the best seen thus far.

In addition, you did not destroy his property while entering/exiting. Upon sharing my experience with one of my dear friends - I discovered that Men on the Move was the same fantastic company that assisted she and her daughter. Well done! Continued blessings for success.

I would highly recommend Men on the move. The men were very professional, arrived on time, introduced themselves and once I showed them around, they got to work. I had all the boxes and furniture labeled, as well as the rooms at the new home labeled and everything went smoothly. They took the time to set up the rooms and gave us different options on how to set up the living room. I am very pleased with Men on the Move! Excellent Service!

The moving crew showed up on time. The three men worked nonstop for 6 hours. They moved all our belongings quickly and carefully. They were friendly and polite. As an extra bonus, they were the cheapest quote we received! Highly recommend!

Moved two weeks ago. I have heard a lot of horror stories about moving. I can say honestly my experience was the exact opposite. They guys showed up and the move went so smoothly. It was done far quicker than I thought, and for less than what I was expecting. When some furniture had issues getting into places I wanted, they came up with great ideas on what I needed to do to get the furniture to where I wanted it to go. They really went above and beyond.

Men on the Move moved me in August of 2021. They did an exceptional job! The last time I moved, I used Two Men and a Truck and it was an absolutely terrible experience. The movers were young and inexperienced. Brian and Carl did a great job moving me and didn't have to take apart my furniture the way Two Men and a Truck did. At one point my mom and I applauded them as they moved an oversized sofa thru a small hallway without scraping up the walls or breaking the feet off of the sofa. I had never heard of Men on the Move before this experience. I would definitely use them again and have already recommended them to others.

Gary and the entire team at Men On The Move are first class. I am a real estate professional and have seen a number of good, bad, and indifferent client experiences on the moving side. To a person, I have only received glowing remarks on the customer service, professionalism, and responsiveness from our clients that use Men On The Move. Men on the Move stepped in and helped my family move across town. They were easy to work with and respectful of our stuff. Highly recommend them whenever someone is moving.

We hired Men On The Move to do a move from Michigan to DC/Maryland last week. What was most appealing was that we could hire a dedicated mid-sized truck for just our move, eliminating the uncertainty of when delivery day and time would be. This is usually the case with interstate moves, as one very large truck can pick up and drop off multiple customer loads along the way.

We were relocating my elderly father from his house in Livonia to a condo apartment in DC and needed his stuff to be there at an exact time. Being a high-rise building, we had to reserve the freight elevator in advance, etc. This dedicated service does cost more, but it was a flat fee with a weight limit, and was certainly worth it to us. Brian and his crew loaded up the stuff out of the house in Michigan on a Tuesday morning, drove to Maryland, stayed the night, and moved the stuff into the high-rise building in DC the very next morning.

Great communication throughout, everything handled with care, directions followed accurately, and all promises were fulfilled. I recommend Men On the Move, especially if you need this kind of dedicated service.

They showed up over 2 hours late. I had to call them to find out when they were coming. Two guys showed up instead of the 3 I was quoted. They said my move was more than they could do in the time alloted. This was the holiday weekend. When I finally heard from someone days later after sending them an email, he said "sorry" they didnt have enough help. They're booked and can't move me for about 2 weeks. Would not recommend unless you want to chance not moving!

5 stars? I think not. 10 is more like it. I called Gary and his crew for a small project and they had it taken care of in a heartbeat. You can't go wrong with Men on the Move. They are a local company willing to make your moving and storage needs stress free. Thank you Men on the Move.

Men on the Move helped move my mom this weekend. Brian and his team did a wonderful job. They were quick, funny, and professional. We were beyond pleased with the service provided. Gary runs a top-notch business and I would recommend him and his crews to anyone.

We recently moved after having been in the same home for 36 years. Men on the Move did a good job for us. We had one incident of some damage, but Gary made sure that it was repaired to our satisfaction. He responded quickly and followed up to make sure that we were satisfied. Used them today for a local move and was completely blown away by the outstanding service I got! They had me out of my one place and into another in 2 1/2 hours! It took almost 2 weeks last year with less stuff. I HIGHLY recommend! Nothing was broken, the guys were gentle, quick, thorough, polite, and all around outstanding. DEFINITELY using them again

Gary and his company have done outstanding work for a number of my clients. From the first interaction through the completion of the move there team is great about setting high expectations, quoting real prices, acting in a timely and efficient way, and ultimately exceeded the aforementioned high expectations. 5 all the way!

Terrible! I so wish we had gone with another company! I would Never recommend this company to anyone! When they showed up, the main guy was grouchy and when I showed him what they were suppose to move, he asked if they had the right house, cause he only had a cpl things listed and acted like what I was showing him, was such an inconvenience. Plus they moved extremely slow and he just wasn't professional at all. I wish I had just cancelled the service on the spot and chosen someone else, but it was too late, once I signed the paperwork. Lesson learned, don't do that again.

They showed up early and got the job done relatively quick; however, after we signed off on all of the paper saying everything was good and they left we saw they had chipped one of the corners on our kitchen table in two places and placed clear packing tape on it in order to hide it. They also broke two of the supports holding the bed slats up. Definitely will not use them again.

Brian and John were first of all punctual, which was very helpful as I had (in hindsight, regrettably) scheduled many things to occur on the day of my move-in. Lucky for me, those guys were champs and emptied the contents of a 2bdrm apartment into their truck from a storage unit in about an hour, and proceeded to unload in the same amount of time into a new apartment. Kept all my possessions in good shape, and had a very agreeable attitude the entire time (even when moving some HEAVY couches and mattresses).

My guess with these moving companies is that the attitude and behavior of the dudes doing the move really influences the quality of the move - ask for Brian and John, they were champs!

We had them move us, store our stuff for 6 weeks, and deliver it to our new home. What a disaster. Literally, every piece of furniture was scratched, gouged, or damaged in some way except for the couch/chairs. My table saw was bent up so badly that it won't sit flat on the floor any more. The mattress covers we purchased from them were either missing or nearly off of the mattresses when we moved in.

The mattresses were dirty/stained as a result. One of the movers kept regaling me with his tales of what people give him for free when they move. He then kept asking me for my stuff - "what are you going to do with that?" Keep it, that's what. Another word of warning, they'll stack your boxes from floor to ceiling in the truck (~8 ft tall). Make sure you have sturdy boxes. The only things good about them are they showed up on time and moved us on the days we needed.

Horrible, They move slow, I caught one of the guys looking through my boxes. They take a lunch and make you pay for that hour. They disappear and your stuff does too. I was missing things antiques and dishes. The worst!

Our experience was bad. Unfortunately I had to be out of town on moving day and the crew were the kind of guys who like to see women cry. They complained about the fridge being a hard type to move, and the inconvenience of having to move gym equipment (disassembled for them), and more. My wife being the helpful one, offered to order pizza for them, an offer the rudely dismissed. If that's the kind of movers you are looking for these are your guys.

Just completed a move from a 2 floor, 5 bedroom house in Detroit to a 2 floor, 4 bedroom house in Sterling Heights. It was seamless. They arrive exactly on time and then we did a grand tour of all the furniture and things that would go into the truck. Then the loading began. Along the way, we added multiple new things to be moved and they were able to make it all work. Unloading at the new house was just as simple.

They put the completely undamaged furniture wherever we asked them to (and we even changed our minds a couple times!). Very professional and honest billing. I'd recommend to anyone who is thinking about hiring movers. (Cheaper than two men & a truck, too!)

Men on the Move are my heroes! We moved from a house on one side of Ann Arbor to a house on the other side. We had hired a different moving company to move us on a Saturday. There was a scheduling mistake (with the other company) and they pushed us to Sunday, and then never showed up. Desperate, we called Men on the Move at 1 PM on Sunday. They managed to have a truck and 2 guys to our house by 2 PM.

These guys weren't even scheduled to work, and they came in anyway! Even though we had more stuff than they anticipated, they managed to get everything into the truck (safely wrapped and padded) in under 2 hours - and this was from a 3 bedroom house! We moved into an older house with narrow doors and tricky staircases. The guys made it look easy.

There were a few pieces of furniture that wouldn't fit up or down the staircases, and they took the time to measure and examine the options, and then were honest with us about things not fitting, instead of trying to squeeze things and ruin the walls. I really appreciated that! Everything made it safely into the new house with no scratches or dings.

I honestly don't know what we would have done without these guys. With no notice, they managed to pull off our move and avert absolute disaster. Although I never want to go through the headaches of moving again, if I do, I will certainly be calling Men on the Move!

This past Monday I moved into a new condo and used Men on the Move to move me out of my old condo and into the new one. Rob and Matt were absolutely the most hard-working professional movers I've ever used. They showed up on time and just as they started to work, the rain started. However, the steady down-pour didn't slow them down at all and they got all my boxes and furniture safely in the truck.

This was a local move so they then drove directly to the new place and promptly started unloading everything and moving it into the new condo. The new place had more stairs and narrower doorways but they found a way to get all my furniture in rooms where I wanted it even to the extent where they had to remove the top of my large heavy old oak desk to get it into the office. I was very impressed and would highly recommend this company to anyone planning a move! This was the best $695 I have ever spent!

Wonderful to deal with. I had a rather small moving job and they were super accommodating. The two guys they sent were fast and friendly. I was thrilled!
