I needed a small amount of furniture and a few appliances moved locally. And was up against a deadline. After speaking with Steve Vigo and sending pics of the items he got me scheduled that same week. On the morning of the moving day Carson and Clayton showed up and got everything loaded without a hitch and got the items to the two drop spots with no problems.

I have mixed opinions about Frisbie Moving & Storage. They were prompt and accommodating, however, even though I confirmed that they had liability insurance, they have refused to reimburse me for the solid wood huge desk that they destroyed in moving. I complied with all of their claim requirements and made numerous phone calls and emails but they have ignored all of my requests and just put me off. Very disappointing.

I must say, even before we finish unpacking, that my husband and I had an AWESOME team. Robin was extremely perceptive and helpful. We had a very unique and difficult situation that another two companies wouldn't even consider contracting. Robin gave us a chance and a team led by Frank and John. two really considerate, patient, and even compassionate guys.
If I ever had opportunity to work with Robin, Frank, and John again in a better situation, I would gladly do so, hoping they would be just as happy to have me as a customer again. One other important note, I understood from Robin's patient explanation of Michigan laws governing pricing for intrastate moves that we had a very fair price. With a borderline hoarding situation, we paid more than my husband wished, but I will say he had several months to decide what he didn't want to move.
As far as if anything was damaged, I believe that no one but an owner should be responsible for packing some items. Preparing for moving is always wise, especially having items organized in advance, knowing you will unpack and need to choose new locations in a home for some.

Over all we were pleased with our move, although multiple items were broken or damaged. I was unaware that when our belongings left our house they would be moved again in your warehouse into another truck. I watched as they loaded and unloaded the trucks and was very happy with their care of our belongings, although I believe once at the warehouse is where the damage occurred. Boxes were clearly labeled fragile and or do not stack.
I was told all the furniture would be wrapped and other pieces were going to be boxed as I did not have boxes large enough to contain some items ie lamp shade and light. One of our clothing containers was missing and the clothes were put into a box, I assume the container was broken. Once our belongings reached Florida a number of our teak furniture were chipped and or broken, this is very unfortunate as they cannot be replaced.
I have an antique chair from the 1800's that the arm was completely broken off and put into the seat of the chair. 3 of my Pewabic pottery pieces were broken, these boxes read fragile ceramic pieces. The boxes were crushed probably due to stacking. I realize that things happen but would have liked a little more care with our belongings. As for the people I worked with Ben who quoted the job to the men who loaded and unloaded were wonderful. Sincerely Suzanne
