In 1915, Judson H. Hilliker founded Hilliker Van Service at 21 Pearl St in Essex Junction, Vermont. After beginning with just a pair of horses and a carriage, Hilliker and his son-in-law Clifford McLure acquired 36 ICC state rights in 1939. Then located at 6 Central Street in Essex Junction, the Hilliker-McLure company became an agent for North American Van Lines.

Timing: Give yourself time to obtain relocation estimates. It's recommended to schedule visual surveys with moving representatives 4-6 weeks before your intended relocation date. If you are looking to relocate between May and September you will want to allow a little more time in order to book a move date within that busy season.
During the estimate, our Certified Moving Consultant will walk through your home as you point out which items will be moving and which will be staying. The Consultant will compute the total weight of the items you are moving and provide you with a quote. That quote will be based on the hourly rate for labor required to complete the move.

We were given McClure as our final movers for our belongings the Army has shipped all around the world for the last decade. These guys were hands down the most professional, courteous and time efficient movers we've ever had. We've moved quite a few times and our movers were always chosen for us by the military. I can say without hesitation if ever we had to choose our own movers, these guys would be the ones we go to.
I can't stress enough what a wonderful experience it was. They were so careful and asked all the right questions to make sure our things were respected and ended up where we needed them.

I own a Moving Company called ROBAR CONTRACTING & MOVING and was contacted to meet at Mclure to move a customers belong into the customers Truck, we went to meet the staff and were greeted by very pleasurable staff! Willing to help in anyway they could and that's rare to assist other movers but they didn't care I highly recommend these guys they are truly down to earth! Thank you Mclure!

The furniture move from Vermont to New York was seamless and it was so great to use Mclure for the local items we were moving between houses, too. No heavy lifting for us, and these guys were so organized with packing equipment and really knew how to care for our furniture. They treated it like it was their very own---ticketing, wrapping for protection.every piece treated with the utmost care.
