Horrible -- Bait and Switch Movers, for sure. I saw a few good reviews of this company, perhaps some have had a good experience, perhaps they were friends of the company. Since the operations manager's name is Ron Biton, reasonable people would assume that one of the 5 star reviews from "Lironbitton Bitton" is from him. In any event, my experience was bad.
The packing was barely adequate - sloppy and rushed -- and a few fragile porcelain items broken, but not horrible. Trying to commit to a delivery date was a real pain -- the driver made 6 stops on his way out to our place. And acted as though he was doing me a favor responding to questions. And here's the bait and switch -- although they knew my new address when I booked the move -- right before delivery they said "18 wheelers are not allowed in your city -- you'll need to pay an additional $350 cash for a shuttle".
They didn't bother to find out beforehand -- after all, its the customer who pays, not the company. Plus, the rented shuttle was used by at least one other customer -- I'm pretty sure that the driver was double charging. And to top it off, the driver carelessly dropped poster flat on the floor of his truck and all the glass was broken. Moving in by driver and his helper was sloppy in general and caused unneccessary nicks and dings in my new place. Truly do not be swayed by the (phony) positive reviews -- you will likely pay the price that the rest of us have.

Worst moving company ever. First they pulled the old bait and switch with my stuff. They quoted me 1200 originally for my move based on the stuff that I had. However, when my stuff got loaded they requoted me for 3200. Being not so wealthy I could not pay that, so they held my stuff in an undisclosed location till I could get the money. I fought over the price for weeks but they just said that if i didn't pay they would auction off my stuff after a month.
I was able to borrow some of the money and they said they would cut the bill by 400, so we finally came to an agreement and they said they would drop off my stuff Friday. Called Friday and they said Saturday. Called Saturday and they said Sunday. They just kept putting it off meanwhile never disclosing the location of stuff. I am putting this review up hoping that they drop off my stuff today.
I even threatened to call the cops. I just want those out there looking for a moving company to never experience my nightmare. As an end note all of my stuff was packed and ready to move and they still found a way to charge 600 for moving supplies. Not labor mind you this was "moving supplies". Shady, Shady people.

DON'T USE THIS COMPANY! We were quoted at 1200 and then on moving day they packed up our belongings, and then the driver came back with and estimate 3 times that! Rip off much! Well we didnt pay it cause that is not the binding quote we had signed before. Then we canceled our card to prevent them from stealing the money, and the next day they called and said our card was declined.
They tried to take out 1300! We didnt even have that much on that card! And now we are trying to negotiate with these terrorists cause they are holding our stuff hostage and threatened us that they are going to sell our stuff in 20 days if we dont pay up! Just so you know that is illegal!

TAKE A CLOSE LOOK AT THE FIVE STAR GOOGLE REVIEWS. These guys are so shady they have hired a company to boost their google rating. Check the BBB and other moving sites.they are AWFUL (criminals, really). STAY AWAY. My experience is as follows: Simple move- MD to LA- they DOUBLED the price once my stuff was loaded, movers were rude, and the owner basically TOLD me when they would deliver.
They demanded extra money to unload, extra money to keep my stuff undamaged. I reported them to the Federal Highway service- which I encourage everyone to do. In the end the budgeted $5,000 move ended up costing $10,000. Stay away. Prosper is a criminal.

Caution!, Caution!, Caution!.This moving company does not deserve to be in business. They are a BAIT AND SWITCH operation. BR Movers sales rep will quote you a price based on your inventory and on the day of your move you will have the exact same inventory but they want to increase your quote by 45% to 50% stating "The inventory was done over the phone and quote is an estimate".Please beware.

They moved all my things on time and not a single item damaged. I just unpacked my new home and am so thankful I didn't hire careless movers. They informed me about everything through the entire process regarding when my shipment will be picked up as well as when my shipment will be delivered I have already recommended them to my friends and will continue to in future also.

The move was not bad in itself. Before the move they keep calling you over and over to make sue you are going to give them the deal. However once the move is completed and that personal properties are damaged then you cannot have anybody give you the status of your claim. They keep pushing back the dates of the resolution. Be very careful before you use this company, when they break something it is very hard to have them repair and or compensate you for the damages.

We had to move before the holiday and Br Movers were supper nice and helpful. They were very careful with our furniture. They padded and shrink wrapped all of my furniture, and used dollies and lifting straps I have never seen They even saw that I was short a few boxes and provided me with some extras that they had in their truck. Im more than satisfied with their work and recommend them to everyone. Thank you, happy holiday.

I had to move some furniture from my apartment in MD to my small mountain house upstate DC. The company helped me do it and it was done really fast - three days only. they arrived when they said they would at delivery. I paid less then expected at delivery. movers really took their time unloading and putting my things where they belonged. they did a great job!

They worked straight through a long day with only ten minutes break for couple of times. They were quite skilled to carry our stuff through a narrow and curved staircase. I am grateful for their support and hard work, Thank you guys for treating my family so nicely! If I need to move to a different place, I will definitely ask for your amazing service!
