Clean units, prices are higher than anywhere else. Horrible office staff! Disorganized, billing issues on & on. I was on auto pay & it was mysteriously not done and received huge penalties. Even though the money was in my account and no one else was having trouble with my auto pays. Not worth the aggravation at all. Life is way too short to deal with kind of rudeness.

Nothing good came from this place. Constantly adding fees and charges. My son is military and used them for storing his car and other things but they were just so difficult to deal with. They charged us 50 bucks for me to come help him since move things in his unit. They wouldn't give him his security deposit back. He cleaned his unit out and came back the next morning to sweep it out but they charged him for not cleaning it out. He was broom in hand ready to sweep it out. He didn't just leave it a mess.

Having never lived anywhere for more than a year and a half, I must use self storage facilities from time to time. And I can say without hesitation that Greengate Self Storage is the very best storage facility I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Having left half of everything in their keep while I moved to Seattle, they were very helpful and considerate as I paid via snail mail for the next five years' rent, month after month.

If ever I had a hiccup or a problem, all it ever took was a phone call and I was right back where I needed to be with the agreed upon contract as well as their payment plan. The administrative representative that works there, Nicole, is one of the greatest customer service reps I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Thank you for everything Nicole! More businesses need to be run with the incredible efficiency and the great attitude of Greengate Self Storage.

Do NOT store your belongings at Greengate Self Storage. I rented two units for 9 months and had expensive mice damage. Mice feces everywhere and they chewed through boxes, mattresses and box spring. The owner takes no financial responsibility as the location is near a wooded area. I also paid for insurance and no rodent damage covered in policy. Its ridiculous to pay all this money monthly just to have your stuff ruined and damaged. I'm completely disgusted and disappointed. Do your research before picking a storage place.

Very clean, secure, love the no smoking on the premises. Affordable rental units! Love the put the pass code in and it disarms your unit and even you leave and put your code in it arms your unit with an alarm!

Very nice storage facility with very high security which is also another nice bonus. I would highly recommend them to keep your stuff walked up and under good surveillance at all times.

The good news is that the items in storage were in good shape when I removed them The bad news is that dealing with Greengate Self Storage is like dealing with the Human Resources Department from hell. They don't send bills, but they do send threatening mail if you forget to pay. You can't give them a credit card for recurring payments. Check in envelope, that's it.

To close your unit, you have to tell them 10 days in advance. And it has to be at least 10 days before the next check is due. During that 10 day period, you have to keep your empty unit locked. If you don't, and someone opens your unit, you owe $50 for the automated police call. Can they keep your key, and just remove the lock when 10 days is up? No.

Can they use the bolt cutters and cut off your lock after 10 days? Only if you want to pay the $20 lock cutting fee. It just goes on and on. If you value your blood pressure, find somewhere else.

Very well taken care of. Great security. Cameras and alarms. Only set back is price. Most expensive around. Can get a unit almost twice the size for same price locally.

Worst place ever! The quality of service from the office is terrible. David is the worst! Sounds annoyed that he has a job to do. They don't know their own policies and make it up as they go. nobody can answer your questions correctly the first time, that is if you get ahold of someone. And when they have to call you regarding payment, ( my payments have always been made monthly even in advance) they block their number.

Very unprofessional. And let's not forget they are in dinasour era with check payments only. One last thing that doesn't sit well with me is they requested my final payment in cash after I gave my notice. NOPE don't do it! So many other places to rent from. Not trustworthy.

People in the office are rude. You have to go to the office and pay with cash. They do not accept credit cards. So if you're moving (which is what most people get storage units for) don't even bother Because they expect you to come in to pay and the office hours are weird. Make sure you get receipts for everything. Make sure any damage already done to your unit is recorded.

This company does not take Visa, MasterCard nor any form of card. They rely on the complicated, unreliable and outdated bill pay-that you have to set up through your checking account as their only means of recurring billing, however have no qualms about charging 50% more in late fees. I asked one of the self-proclaimed owners if they have considered setting up some other method that would accept credit/debit and she was very dismissive of the idea and said they'd have to raise their rates considerably and it was a dead issue. Hello?!

Ever hear of Square or Paypal or any of the other dozen alternatives that take less than 5% for each transaction. I mean it's not the 50% they get for late fees, but I guess if you're not really into customer service. I also asked if they ever considered using email to notify a customer if they were going to be hit with an astounding late fee, or maybe just to give a heads up that the archaic bill pay did not work as planned and they are not even advanced enough for email.

I wonder what it is they do with that computer in the office. I will be taking my business elsewhere, I cannot support a business that seems to be more about collecting late fees than providing service to their customers.
