We flew in Monday to pick up our new to us truck. Like many, I was concerned with buying a truck only seen online. Trent and Charles answered all of our questions and made the buying process seamless, which is hard to find at other dealers. I strongly suggest Star of Texas!

Buyer beware: we purchased a 2018 mustang GT from here in March 2021. They told us they did a complete fluid change and had a shop look it over and said there were no issues. There was no windshield washer fluid, and the wipers were dry rotted. Who wants to buy a car from a dealer and immediately put new things on it? More importantly, the car was running really rough after we got it home so we change the oil which was FILTHY and the OIL FILTER WAS DATED 12/2019!

So obviously they lied about the fluid change. Now we are chasing engine codes and the car already broke down on us and required new parts that would have definitely been noticed if a shop looked over it. Last but definitely not least, the battery for this car was not the correct size which was causing other issues, it was smaller than the required size for the car and that's another thing a shop would have noticed if they even took it to one.

The car was filthy, inside and out - we had to pay to have it professionally cleaned and carpets shampooed. The dealer said there is a new clutch but couldn't provide us a receipt so who even knows if it is new. They took some money off the top so we could put new tires on it but honestly it doesn't make up for the money we had to dump into it right away. The integrity is definitely lacking with these guys.

Wanted to let you guys know how much I enjoy the truck! Appreciate yall answering all my questions and sending additional pictures. When truck arrived it exceeded my expectations! Strongly recommend Trent & Charles!

Our experience here was somewhere between neutral and unpleasant. We moved to a different storage facility because we felt the managers of this facility were difficult to work with and there were a lot of small print gotchas when we attempted to downsize rental units. It was a verbal arm wrestling match to avoid being double charged during that move because of how their policy works.

We faced something similar when we closed the contract. We've been at the new facility for many months now and enjoy how they seem more focused on customer needs than company policy. We just found the employees at Star of Texas to be a bit inconsiderate and perhaps overly focused on income. On the positive side - we weren't double charged - we paid a fair price, the facility was very nice and seemed quite secure, and the location was convenient.

Worst car buying experience I've ever had. One of the Owners (TRENT) is extremely arrogant and is a grifter, unfortunately I was stuck dealing with him. I put a deposit to hold the truck, once I arrived I noticed the door handle had been siliconed on and the keyhole was pushed in, never was mentioned when describing the truck, I asked for my deposit back and he wouldn't return it!

This place is held to no standards and it shows. Go to a large dealer where they care about the customer and will work with you. This place is a joke if they think they do good business. STEER CLEAR!

HORRIBLE experience.my husband bought a truck with cash here that broke down 2 days later and left our entire family (2 toddlers and an infant + our new puppy) stranded on the side of highway in the freezing cold weather. We were sold a complete lemon & money pit and have had nothing but constant problems and have had the truck for only a couple months now and we still cant drive it currently as we are having to come up with more money for repairs. Would never buy or recommend this place to anyone. EVER!

We purchased our daughter's first car here and were very pleased with our experience. This place is run by two guys (cousins, if I remember correctly) who have been in the business for many years. They were very knowledgeable and straight shooters. Will definitely return for our son's car when he is ready to drive.

We bought our truck here and their service was great. They were very informative not only with the truck but also with our loan. After a lot of research they had the best value. Great to work with, very friendly and a great price for our truck. Overall an easy car buying experience. Thanks!

I stopped by to take a look at one of the cars that they had in their small lot. It was a Subaru WRX. I got out with my daughter and started taking a look at it. The "owner" sort of came over and asked if I had any questions. kinda. He was just very un-enthusiastic about helping me or offering any information. He sat on the good of the car next to the Subaru with his arms folded looking impatient.

I asked just a couple questions and he answered them with one word answers. He did get the keys and answered if it was all wheel drive. He said that he didn't know too much because they don't deal with imports much and it came in on a trade in. Then I mentioned that I'd have to test drive it before I would be more interested. He then rudely informed me that for a test drive I would have to have a credit check and pre-approval on a loan, because it would put too much mileage on the cars. I have never heard of that. In his defense, I know I look kinda young but he didn't know anything else about me. I will probably not stop by here ever again.

Typical used car place, if your trading something in, your vehicle isn't worth anything but theirs should bring way above what they book for. If you offer lower than what they are asking you are laughed at. Salesman was very arrogant in my opinion. So if that stuff interests you, this would be a great place for you to buy a car/truck.

Not recommended, buyers beware. I bought a vehicle from these guys a while back and it had issues within two weeks. They said they had gone through it and assured me the vehicle would be "good to go" for a long time. Additionally, it became apparent that making money is much more important than taking care of the customer.
